Hi guys,
Ive been searching around and I can't find a Galaxy S theme. There is one called Gala S but that is for the Nexus One.
Anyone able to make one or port over the Gala S theme?

Thanks

Ummmm....I second that motion..lol
I just finished a new beta for theme-porter. Wht i added was a "hdpi-to-mdpi" toggle accompanied by a renaming loop which will rename the appropriate folders. I just gave it a whirl by testing on framework-res of this galaxy s nexus theme on a D/S framework-res cm6 rc3. Results are not too bad actually, need some minor touch-ups. I'll post that beta in a few on my thread.
Here u go Link
There's galaxy s themes for ADWLauncher on the market. Their not "full" themes, but they change your icons and wallpaper giving you at least some of the "feel" of it. You can also put horizontonal scrolling and the scrolling dots at the top, as well as change the notification bar color though CMsettings.

thanks danesham, I have seen your theme porter before. I wasn't sure if it was going to work. Will give it a go.
Ive looked around for galaxy s ADW themes but I couldn't find any, are they on the market? Are they called Galaxy S theme?

Thanks a lot though, hope this help other people looking for this!
WOW, the TW3 launcher is actually pretty nice and smooth, I really like it :3
Any themes/icon sets though?
EDIT: Only complaint with TW3 Launcher is that default home screen is all the way to the left, any fix for this?
Works Great.........loving it
Hey guys,
i tried to edit the bottom bar in order to get 5 icons instead of 4. just like in crysis theme.
But i want to edit it on my own but i have no idea which files have to be modified. I wonder if you can help me out? Or is there somewhere a guide on this?
Thanks
Edit: of course i was reffering to .apk not .aok
there is GTG launcher with 5 icon dock (modified version of stock TW3 launcher)
see HERE
Twframework-res.apk doesn't change the dock, youll need to download the launcher above and modify it.

I have looked and searched and i cannot find a thread on this and i am thinking i might be barking up the wrong tree.
I run the stock launcher on cm7 and super cm7 and i would like to change the color of the three icons on the bottom or the homescreen and thats it. Colors of everything else i want to stay the same. Is this even possible?
I do not want to run lp or adw. I'll stay with green if thats the case.
If you change themes with the theme chooser it should change. That's if you don't mind switching themes.

Not to be a **** but the OP says I want everything else to stay the same. Why would you suggest switching themes.
Guess ill just figure out how to export this theme and change icons myself through theme manager. I was hoping maybe someone would know a quick and easy way of changing the color.

you should be able to modify the dock pngs in the launcher apk without trouble. I've changed colors around on a vanilla launcher before... just decompiled the launcher apk, changed the pngs I wanted to change, compiled and replaced the apk.. voila.
Awesome. Thanks.

You can use ninja morphology, that's how I got mattedblue colors on my stock launcher. Although ever since adw ex got updated I've been using it.
got the decompile thing down. guess all there is to do is find out how good i am in gimp.
thanks again
Why don't you use adw ex? It's so much better than the stock and you get to keep the gingerbread dock but customize icons and their colors...You really cannot go wrong...
*Mods if I'm posting in the wrong section my bad just move it*
I've been searching for twgtg launcher that works for the epic 4g . It comes pre installed in the Androea Galaxy theme (my bad if I spelled it wrong) which I think looks great but I. Like to flash different themes and want to keep using that launcher . Can anyone link the post for that launcher in the epic 4g forum. TIA
Just pull the API out of that theme and put it in whatever rom you want. Probably called twlauncher30.apk or something similar.

Ok but the thing is that the launchers dock background is also themed to go with the rest of the theme and I want to have a clear background on the dock
Anyone else know where I might find the launcher
Hey guys. I have been on CM7 for a while now but have never used or even looked at the Theme Engine before. I was hoping that you guys could answer a few basic questions about it:
1. Are these THEMES also launchers as well? Currently I am using CM7 with GoLauncher. If I install a Theme will it replace Go Launcher as the default launcher or will it theme Go Launcher?
2. Is there a massive thread that has a list of all the CM7 Themes? I have only been able to find individual theme threads (MattedBlues, etc.)
3. I like custom icons but I hate when I have apps that aren't supported...they stick out like a sore thumb on the desktop. Is that the issue with the THEME ENGINE themes or do they alter the default icons on their own?
Thanks in advance!
1)the themes dont overwrite your launcher, use what you prefer.
2)I believe there is a thread somewhere with all themes try google, there is also alot of them on the market.
3)some themes do have custom icons, depends on what the theme creator included.
Here's a list of some themes.you want HDPI for the evo http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1046108

Thanks a lot for your input guys! I tried a few out. The only thing I'm not liking is when there are custom icons. More than likely they don't have customized icons for ALL the apps you want to display on your desktop. Then you either have to have ugly mismatching icons or remove the unsupported icons from your desktop altogether.
Can any of you guys advise on a THEME that themes all your existing icons?

Thank you Fergie....that is the exact idea I was looking for. Do you know if there is a black theme that has a similar effect (making all of your icons have a dark/black tint? I already tried DarkGinger. but it only has customized icons...and not very many of them.
