[Q] Desire went dead after flashing recovery image - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a very serious problem and i don't know if anyone of you here have encountered before.
My problem is, i tried to flash clockwork recovery 3.05 with unrevoked, it stopped at the stage with a message " wait for 5 second while rebooting" it went for a few minutes but i though it still running and don't want to disturb it. I left my phone at home and went out for lunch and after half of minutes i came back my phone still sitting at that screen by i noticed that my battery drained fast and by the time i want to unplug my phone from USB, it went dead!!! I tried to recharge my phone for 1 hour and still couldn't get it to turn on.
Did i bricked my phone?? Any advice to overcome this?? Need your help urgent!!
Thanks in advance.

No you did not brick it. I think your batterie is dead. Try charging it again (not true your pc and usb).
If that does not work, you will need to buy a new batterie.

[Q] Defy bricked in weird fashion, help!

I'll be as brief as I can! Been using a app from the Market called Friendcaster on my rooted Defy running a pays ROM(I cannot remember which one, but it was a early Froyo, been using it for months). Noticed phone running hot after Friendcaster updated, and got a memory warning, turned out Friendcaster was constantly syncing and filled phones memory. Went to delete app, saw a fix, so installed that. Restarted phone, soon started syncing constantly then, and when ever I went into contacts phone locked up. Deleted app, rebooted, and phone went into a boot loop. Went to recovery, cleared phone storage. Phone refused to boot. Tried flashing SKTJRD-3.4.2.74.sbf flash it got to 100%, but never went to complete, even after leaving a few hours.
Phone now won't respond, won't go into recovery, only gets white LED when you connect USB, RSD lite does not see phone. Not sure if the McGuyver hack will help, the battery gets hot if you put phone on charge, and tried a fully charged battery from a visitors phone and still with no response, I understand you only need to do this if battery is flat and you cannot charge phone.
I've had a good search around on here, and on Google but can't find anything that seems to help, frustrated, I might be a new n00b, but this is the first time I haven't been able to solve a problem with a bit of Googling ARGH! Plus my phone doesn't work.
Hope you guys can help, if not what's the chance of Moto/Voda UK swapping out/repairing phone if I send it in?
If you have a new full battery, Can you put Defy into Bootloader mode?
If it cant, it should be realy brick
You should try this thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1206708
Try to :
Uninstall RDS and the drivers;
Reboot PC;
Reinstall newer dirvers and rds (the 4.9 version);
Reboot PC;
Connect Defy with USB, wait 1 minute, if not recognized try to press power button and wait 1 min. If not recognized yet, try click on Config-->DeviceID and try both options.
If not recognized yet... try another pc, try another full battery... if this doesn't work there's nothing left to do.
The McGyver trick is dangerous! Don't charge your battery with this method more than 15 minutes!

[Q] Galaxy Nexus won't turn on after attempting a flash stock + Unroot???

So I'm not sure what happened with my girlfriend's Gnex, she updated to 4.2 a couple days ago, then her battery died. So she went to charge it and when it finished charging, she went to turn it on normally, but it went into a reboot loop? So i was talking to someone else on another thread that i saw similar, so i tried to do a flash stock + unroot, it connected i got into recovery menu and everything, went to do it, and then the screen started going staticy, and it said it failed then it said it should take 5-10 minutes or something. So i guess it froze or something, so i took the battery out and the screen was still staticy, and then i unplugged it from the USB, and now it won't turn back on. Did i brick the device? :/ Thanks in advance for future answers.
you cant get into to recovery either? or fastboot mode?

I'm having a similar issue. I wanted to flash the memory so i relocked the phone using the wugkit, then unlocked and rooted. For some reason, it wouldn't load a new rom. I kept getting the triangle exclamation point android graphic. I pulled the battery and that was it. Black screen. Won't turn on. A cpl of times, it was almost recognized by the computer via USB, but just kept failing. This sucks.

just a thought: are you sure it's charged up enough to boot? i know i've mistakenly thought my phone was messed up when the battery was just dead

Yes the battery is charged. Occassionally, when I plug it into the computer, it makes the new device notification and then fails over and over again. I keep trying to get a glimpse of a lock so i can adb it.

[Q] Bricked Kindle fire Hd8.9 till battery dried ~ Help!

Hi there guys, Good regards too all
There is major problem i couldn't really solve on bring back my kindle that went from booting on the "Kindle Fire" logo only , and then later on it went in to fastbooth ..slowly later i tried to turn on it wont On.
How do i recover this.?
The earlier scenario to this case was : I did successfully rooted the device to CM10.1 Android 4.2.2 custom ROM. followed zedomax (Max lee) everything was good perfect. After awhile i decided to go back to Kindle original OS. and mange to restore back that perfectly. My device was still rooted with superuser and all. After few months went by the auto update went on the apps in there which was (my suspect to this outcome) I left my device in the drawer for day and when I got to use it it was On and hot, the screen was blankbut on
Well restarted the device the "Kindle fire" logo came on and then it hangs to blank on screen only. I mange to and tried to play around with Adb configuration and all it work till fastbooth then next when I turn it on the device was detected and Off later debunk by windows while i was on . then the last few round i tried again later on the was flat dead! couldn't On. (What i highly suspect it is just the battery got drained out )
Chances are the battery dried to what I d suspected cause when the last i was using the battery was 45% and 1 days pass with this minor testing on trying to debug it .
If it is the battery How do i charge it back? - get it going (will the factory cable work?)
Is there any other alternative in reviving my device.? - since it wont on.
I highly do believe its only the battery that got drain off otherwise i cauld find my way back to the device just figuring out how do i bring it back in to charging it?
*cause now it is totally does not turn on cause it is drain in battery and being bricked I cant charge in between
Any other suggestion or alternative.? or shall i wait for my Factory cable to revive it?
Thanks
Har.
*I do believe it's possible to bring my Kindle back but how. ?

[Q] unfortunately, the process.com.android.systemui has stopped on my Note 2 (N7100)

So i changed my rom incase it was that, but it still continued to drain. I have some how manage to unroot my device and Odin isnt recognizing my note 2. At the moment i have a phone that bleeps every so often and when i reset it it comes up with the unfortunately, the process.com.android.systemui has stopped error. Also when i press volume up, power button and the bottom button i dont get TWRP any more i get Android system recovery (3e). My computer recognises my sd card and my phone. I have checked numerous threads about this and nobody seems to have the same problem. Hope someone can help?

I need help with my Samsung J6 it won't turn on

So i was flashing a new rom with twrp bootloader unlocked everything went well and then when i went out of twrp it just would't turn on anymore just off but the screen was still on so the phone too but then i thought just to wait till the battery dies and so it did i put my phone to charge and i didn't say anything so i just let it there came back about an hour later still nothing and it wont turn on, nothing at all i don't know what to do i hope it ain't hard bricked
Try booting into download mode(odin mode), you'll have the confirmation page on it DO NOT GO PAST IT, let your phone on there for a few a hours so it can get enough juice to flash your stock firmware.
From my experience one hour should be enough to flash but you have to be quick after you take it out of the charger and put putting it to the pc. I also recomend to have every firmware file preloaded on odin.
