[Q] Has anyone ported the screen on/off animations from Gingerbread to a Sense rom?

We have Gingerbread menus, keyboards, notification bars, launchers, icons, etc but I have yet to see a Gingerbread screen on/off animation. Anyone know if there's one around here somewhere?
Also, the orange glow on the menus is pretty cool, anywhere where I can get that too?

You can get all of those in an aosp rom. Porting it back is not a concern of devs. They want to build up the new ones first.

unfortunately no where to get the screen off animation, yet. Someone said ti would be a TON of work. So i am not so sure you'll see it on froyo ever.

Yea I read that also. It's not something that can be messed with so I guess we're just going to have to wait for some gingerbread of our own.

I came upon this app that will do this for you. It's called Screen Off and Lock made by Katecca. I use it because then I don't have to push my power button to dim my screen but it has the ability to use the animation from gingerbread devices.

CM7 call screen problem

Wondering if anyone else had this problem. I'm on CM7 and on my call screen, im getting this weird call bar in the background. Looks like something from the sense rom. Before I installed this rom, I did a full wipe so I don't know if it's my phone or a CM7 bug.
Any idea how to fix this? Thanks

Change the lock screen in CM Settings back to Sliding Tab.

Awesome thanks! It worked. I personally don't like the sliding tab, so when i switched back to my preferred lock screen the funky bar was gone.

Yeah that was my only problem with using the rotary lock screen. So I went to plain lense. lol

If you use rotary instead of rotary revamped it works as well.

[Q] HTC 3.0 lock screen music bounce

I was just curious if there is a mod to get rid of the little bounce back and forth that the 3.0 lockscreen music controls do. I would just like it to be stationary. The bounce is a very minor, but irritating inconvenience. Iam not even sure if it does this stock, or if it is part of the ROM I am using (Mikg 2.45)

[Q] Play Music lock screen?

So I've been a bit bummed that I don't have a full screen music widget with controls on my lock screen, as I mainly use my tablet when I play Music. The other day I used my Nexus 6, and saw that when I used Play Music, it had full - screen lock controls for music and artwork. It looked awesome! Is there any way to make that happen on the Tab S?
If not, is there any app or mod I can use to make widget or music controls a thing again for the lock screen?

I don't know if you want to go this far, but Euphoria ROM has that, and even has an equalizer animation on the lock screen when music is playing! Perhaps it's an AOSP thing, although the TW on my Note 4 does have the album cover and controls on the lock screen

I've been thinking about putting a ROM on it, I just couldn't decide on a decent one that was stable on Lollipop yet. I'm not a fan of flashing nightlies or weeklies. I'll have to check out Euphoria now, thanks for the suggestion!
Sort of on topic, any suggestions for a tablet-optimized music player? I've been using Shuttle and I love it, but the controls are so tiny on the 8.4 that I miss constantly.

Touch sounds

Just got this tablet and one thing I've noticed compared to my Xperia Z4 is that there are no sounds when I touch the screen - touch an icon, for example. I've got touch sounds on in settings but it doesn't make any difference. Anyone know how to fix this?

There is the sound. I mean, it's android. Take a video of it!
