I need anybody to help me. I'm trying to port my theme from CM 6.1.2 to CM7 but it seems the signal pngs are differently named and did not port with a theme poter program. Please someone inform me which pngs to theme. thanks.

Hey a couple more questions...Do you know what the name of the pngs are on the status bar pull down? The ones that say notifications and on going and where they're located?
and where in the CM7 UI settings is the option "tweaks and extras" that used to be in CM6? I want to change the color of the clock/and other text on the status/pull down. Thanx.

title_bar_portrait.9 is the bar where "ongoing" and all that show up.
The clock/date/notification color settings isn't in CM7 yet. I'm patiently waiting for it, too. lol

Awesome quick response, but the file you've attached loses the "AOSP" themed bar at the top, it reverts to the TW grey color.

You can't just install tweaks.apk
It takes more than that to get it to communicate with the system and framework
M&S
I am sure the AM/PM is being driven by service.jar... You can remove the clock with an XML edit... Even change the clock color in an xml... But break it apart in an xml? I dont think so...

Ive done everything you said except break it apart.
Ive removed it with xml
Moved it all around the statusbar
Moved it to where you can only see it when u pull down the statusbar
etc...
The am and pm is in the smali code in the framework-res i believe

[MOD] DDKQ8 Lockscreen Circles

This is a small editing I did for those who are bored of the original DDKQ8 Swipe to Remove Lockscreen.
What I did:
-Removed the lock icon
-Replaced animated arrows with animated circles which gives it a small ripple effect
This gives it a very minimal effect (which I like).
Given below is the framework-res flashable for the SGSIIv9 framework-res.apk (because I am currently using it).
You can simply flash it ONLY if you are using SGSIIv9 Rom.
So if anyone needs one for your own framework-res you can attach it on a post and I will try and edit it
It not a big deal. Hope you like it.

I could if i have the original framework-res.apk of the SGSIIv9. I seem to have deleted mine. So ask someone for the original one, open the flashable zip file, go to system>framework> and replace the framework-res.apk there. Now reboot into CWM and flash.
Thank you

I'm no themer, but they are likely in SystemUI.apk/res/drawables-xhdpi - I know that's where the icons themselves are at least.

Yes, the icons are there but to change the background is a different ball, is not a .png but a code, I just dont know where it is.

Dunno if I would could that a "mod" really... but I applaud the do-it-yourself spirit
Anyhoo - I think they are still all in drawables-xhdpi, but are likely .9s that are called by various xml drawables in ... well, in /res/drawables. Some likely candidates:
tw_quick_panel_quick_setting_button_bg_normal.9
tw_quick_panel_quick_setting_button_bg_pressed.9
tw_quick_panel_off.9
tw_quick_panel_on.9
I will admit that I am not 100% on this, but maybe it'll get you pointed in the right direction

This is correct for stock toggles in the SystemUI.apk\res\drawable-xhdpi folder. For lidroid extra toggles they are in the framework\lidroid-res.apk\res\drawable-hdpi folder
The toggle bg is
stat_power_bg.png
The on\off tabs are
stat_bg_on.png
stat_bg_off.png
stat_bg_ing.png
And for Tweaked custom toggles. They're gonna be the same name as for lidroid, but you'll find them in the SystemUI.apk\res\drawable-hdpi
