Motorola Milestone Multitouch Browser on AOSP 2.0 Rom

Hi, i have the motorola milestone browser (the regular one that includes the multitouch) and they are attached to this thread. I am trying to get them to work on AOSP 2.0. Whenever i open it on the phone, it opens to a white screen then force closes. I have logcat open and this is what comes up when i open the browser.

Any ideas? I tried looking for some of the files in the motorola milestone dump but no luck.
Edit: The browser file and the multitouch permission did not attach.
you need the motorola frameworks and a multitouch kernel. as the errors say, it cant find the motorola multitouch class.
there was a frame work com.android.hardware.touchscreen.multitouch.xml and thats in as well. shouldn't it work then? or is it really the kernel?

Sound Settings are force closing

So I'm running CM6 and I used TB to restore my apps from a previous rom (fresh) and now all the sudden I'm getting a Force Close when I try to access my sound settings. All other settings are working fine, and I've not had a problem with any other app.
Here's the logcat of the instance. Any clues?

One last bump before I let this thread die.
Cyanogen has his own settings for sound.
Menu> settings>cyanogenmod settings
heh, just fixed it.
Went to Settings => Applications => Manage Applications => Running => Settings => Clear Data.
dwntwnall4u, thanks, I didn't realize that either.

Problem modifying Contacts.apk

Whenever I modify the Contacts.apk files and push it to my phone the app works perfectly but whenever I open Phone, it closes telling me Contacts has stopped.
Has anyone else had this problem, and can they fix it?

I don't believe so, because Contacts.apk is a system file/app and these normally cannot be restored without causing issues. If its your contacts you're looking to backup, you should do so via the People app > Import/Export

It's the apk file itself, I'm theming it to Holo.
I've aready modified Mms.apk and that works fine, I'm just having a problem with those two.
There is no point in asking something like this without giving logcats of the error.

I've attached a logcat now.
Well, the logcat isn't showing what I'd like, but being that there are multiple resource errors, and java errors, I would point at a bad recompile. Make sure when recompiling you only use the xml modified and no extra.
Also, take a look here:
T9 Search.java:223
That method starts off by getting resources.
Line 218-223:
Code:
private void initT9Map() {
String[] t9Array = mContext.getResources().getStringArray(R.array.t9_map);
sT9Map = new char[t9Array.length][];
int rc = 0;
for (String item : t9Array) {
int cc = 0;

I've just tried a recompile with only the edited xml and it's still not working.
Apparently this is a known theming problem too.
I wouldn't know. Any theming I do is via overlay.

Bad internal memory? Bootloop for no reason. [Partially Solved]

I have a weird problem that happened to me last night, my Defy was working as it should and I have not had any problems with it at all (like apps force closing on me for no apparent reason or things alike). I sent a lot of sms and made calls, checking internet and, well, just used the phone in a normal "ungeeky" way and didn't install any apps or messed with the system at all.
I had lot of internal storagespace left, probably like 500-600mb, when it popped up a massage in the notificationbar warning me that I didn't have any space left. I checked the internal memory to see what the problem could be, with root explorer and so on, but didn't find anything odd with the storage. While I did this a lot of things seemed to forceclose on me at times when i tried to open apps, witch I found odd.
I decided to reboot the phone to see if it just was some strange bug with the specific build i used (one of the recent CM7 from maniac103) but the phone is now in a bootloop. Tried to flash the build of CM again, clearing cache and so on, everything I can do without doing a factory reset or/and reflash rom (saving that as a last option). Recovery works, and I can at least browse the internal storage.
This is the last bit from logcat before the phone reboots (can post the whole thing if you need it):

Edit:
Well I got my phone working again. Don't know what the problem was but i just played around with the recovery and got it working again without loosing to much settings. First I made a backup of the phone, then restored "system" and "boot" over the existing system from an old CM9 backup just to check if it booted to rule out hardware problems, and it did boot so all fine there I hope. So I then restarted and cleared cache, formatted "system" and restored the faulty CM7 "system" and "boot" that I had just backup-ed, cleared cache and, with no expectations that it would do anything... it booted!
I don't know if it may have been a problem with the "system" partition or something and the format solved it, I have no idea. Most of all CM settings were back to default, and I had to clear contacts and calendar storage because of force closes of "Acore" and calendar process (still got gmail FC though even when I have cleared "data") but my homescreen were saved, appdata and the more important stuff anyway. Still have no idea why all the problems happened from the first place though.
Have you deleted the data/tombstones?
If not, browse with the rootexplorer and delete the tombstones.
These problem is caused by the flashplayer, afaik.
Yeah I found a thread shortly after I posted here were they talked about that, tried it but no go for the bootloop issue. As far as the low storage problem I don't know if it works or not. Haven't found anyone mentioning a bootloop happening because of this problem though so I have absolutely no idea whats going on, why my phone just started to flip out. Anyhow, thanks for the tip!

"Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped." Persists after Factory Restore

I recently tried to apply a series of updates (Rom, radios, kernel, Crossbreeder Mod) to my Verizon Galaxy Nexus SCH i515 and ran into a snag. Everytime I opened the camera application I would receive the message "Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped." I will also get this message upon a reboot of the phone. I first thought I had improperly wiped before applying the rom or done something out of order. So I began troubleshooting.... I will save the narrative for brevity sake and give you a list of what I have done.
Rewiped the phone using TWRP 2.6 and performing a full wipe of all options including sdcard
Using TWRP, I installed the latest (8.22) ShinyROM. Rebooted. (Got Error)
ShinyROM Author suggests CWRM over TWRP so I fastboot applied the latest Toro build of CWRM. I then proceeded to do an additional Wipe of all components and then Install the ShinyROM zip. Rebooted (Got Error)
This is my primary phone and I had now run out of time to mess with a new ROM and knowing I had wiped everything, I had to give up for the time being and get a working phone again
I proceeded to flash the 4.2.2 Factory img file using WugsFresh Root Toolkit. Hashes Verified. Factory Img applied. Reboot. (Got Error)
At this point I am starting to think a hardware component has failed but I am also unsure if perhaps the factory restore does not overwrite every sinngle bit of the device so I begin researching the issue further and since most people stated that if I run into this error and I have applied a factory restore then it must be hardware.
I heed the advice and since my wife has the exact same phone I disassemble both phones and proceed to remove both fully functioning cameras (front ) and (back) from my wife's phone.
I test for the error as follows:
orig Back + func Front = (Got Error)
func Back + orig Front = (Got Error)
func Back + func Front = (Got Error)
I am now fairly certain that it is something software related which follows logically as nothing had physically occurred to my phone that would have led me to think a hardware component would fail. So everything I have found seems to state clearly that a factory img wipes all components of a phone, which on some level I assume is not the whole story because a factory restore is technically overwriting certain partitions with their original contents and not performing a bit for bit copy of what was originally on the phone. Just to be sure I though maybe the latest factory restore does not include ALL of these components but the original 4.0.2 img would so I roll back all the way to the first factory image available for the toro. Rebooted (Got Error) I let the OS OTA update all the way to 4.2.2 receiving errors at each intermediate step.
That is where my phone currently is....
Model: Samsung Galaxy Nexus SCH-i515
Carrier: Verizon
Version:4.2.2 OTA'd from the original Factory Image
Radio: FK01/FK02
Build: JDQ39
I can produce the error from the gallery, the camera app, and a I downloaded a third party camera app too. Here are the logcat captures that I found.
