Problem - P3300, MDA Compact III General

Hello all.. I have one problem with my htc p3300.
When i turn it on after a little the screen appears white.. I have change rom
and the problem remain.. I have buy new battery and remains that..
(sorry for my bad english) please help me

...
hmmm, first impressions:
maybe a loose connection betwene motherboard and lcd?
to open the device:
1. take battery cover off
2. take battery, sim and micro sd out
#you will need a special screwdriver in the shape of a *
3. take out the 4 screws near the where the battery goes
4. take back cover off, this will unclip
5. another 4 screws to unscrew
6. unclip front cover
#be carefull now
7. there is a ribbon connected to the motherboard from the lcd, unclip it by lifting the small black clip
8. re-connect the ribbon and put the small black clip down to lock it back into position
9. put your device back together
10. if your device does not turn on then its either the button for the power is obscured or if the device plays sound but no image on the lcd then the lcd is not connected properly..
Rn

...
be very carefull with the ribbon for lcd!

I will try and i will reply you tommorow.. Thanks you..

...
if you are not sure what to do.. just message back..
i will wait for your reply..

IF YOUR DEVICE TURNS OFF FOR NO REASON or SUDDEN SHUTDOWN OF ARTEMIS:
1) check your battery contacts:

**usually it is the battery that is causing the problem.
2) you must buy a "brand new" battery (not a spare).
put the new battery in your device
*do not turn it on
charge the device untill green led

i see you have tried a new battery, did you leave the device off while charging?

I have buy one new battery from ebay..
No i have left it to charger about 10 hours for the first time.

Look. My problem is:
Sometimes my phone has blank screen, sometimes is working good.
Sometimes if the phone is closed can't power on..
When I bought a new battery I let it charge 10 hours without being open

...
i strongly suggest you do post #2.
* showing signs of your screen ribbon loose = white screen.
if this does not fix problem..
i strongly suggest you do post #13.
* showing signs of void battery = device not starting properly/no power on etc.
more than likely it will be post #13 void battery..

Thanks all of you.. I will try it again.. And i will see

Desire doesn't power on

Hello,
I've searched all XDA and Google, but couldn't find a reasonable explanation of my situation.
I use my Desire as a replacement for my Sensation, as it is in repair now.
I rooted and flashed my Desire. Everything worked.
I decided to try the LeeDroid ROM. All OK, but just after the reboot, the phone fell on the ground and the battery flew aroud $#@%#
After that I have the following situation:
- Removing the battery and connecting the phone to a power source, flashes the LED Amber and Green.
- Introducing the battery again, the LED turns Amber for "charging"
- When I push the Volume Down+Power Button, the LED turns off and everything is black. No LED, no vibration or whatsoever
It's impossible to enter Recovery or HBOOT in general.
I read there was a trick to power on the phone with a "USB Trick", but couldn't find how to. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1502777
Is it Bricked, so impossible to revive? Obviously no warranty anymore
Thanks for your input.
Wrong place for this question... but let me help you, it could be because of the fall, i mean most probably... i'm sure about that...

I say that the display connector might have disconnected itself when the phone hit the ground. You should try to tear your phone down and see if the connector actually fell out.

OK, I will try to open the phone, but I think that doesn't explain why the power button shuts the LED off when pushed.
I have to look for the very small screw drivers
Thanks.

After that the power button doesn't do anything. The phone doesn't even vibrate...
It all seems that phone works but your screen doesn't. Some connectors are disconnected or broken or your phone's screen is broken.

Don't try alternative, you'll ruin the screws. You can easily order it on e-bay and it's pretty cheap. I'm also sure you can find it in any hardware store, it's called TORX screwdriver.
Ok thanks!
I don't know what helped, but after repeatedly trying to switch on/off and connect/disconnect to USB power the phone booted again.
I managed to enter RECOVERY and flashed the Oxygen ROM and seems to work all fine and quick :good:
Thanks for you support :good::good::good:

Maybe you have damaged the usb charge port? And I also need your help a little! My power button and volume are dead, so I bought a replacement on eBay, it will arrive in some days. The problem is that looking at YouTube tutorials I can't see where the power +volume cable is. Did you see it?

Buttons connector is very close to screen connector, look carefully in Youtube manuals,
USB port is ok, I discussed that issue with my engineer friend and already solved by my own. When I unplugged battery before screen replacement not carefully I damaged flex tape with + , - , ID , and temp signals from battery to phone main-board.

[Q] my htc one x will not turn on

I opened the device as show on YouTube

Not Charging - Phone is Dead

I have a Zenfone 2 551, 2GB/16GB. Bought it 45 days ago. I bought an Asus Fast Charger later on. The first time I wanted to use the new fast charger the phone turned off.
I change to a regular charger and the led turned on (I had 40% battery at the time). Left the phone charging (standard original Asus Charger) and the battery instead of charging is loosing charge. Even with the led turned on.
Eventually the battery died. I tried other chargers. 1 out 10, maybe a got the led back on, but the battery stayed on 0% and wasn't enough to even turn on the phone
I've read several people having this same issue.

http://forums.androidcentral.com/asus-zenfone-2/552432-phone-not-charging.html
In one of the post someone wrote this tip
Thanks for the reply. But after a long day of stressing, it worked by itself. I read from an article about another android with quick charging that the USB could have not been all the way in in the adapter which, in my opinion, it was but regardless I repeatedly unplug and plug(15 mins -30 mins interval)... did the same with the phone plug and unplug till I saw the battery level going up
It didn't worked for me!
I've already tried:
a. Changing chargers and cables
b. Pressing power for 20 seconds
c. Pressing volume up + power
d. Plugging and unplugging the phone every 15 minutes
I bought the phone while visiting the US (I don't live there).
Has anyone else had this kind of problem, and was able to fix it?
Thanks
Can you confirm if the ASUS adapters/USB cables work with other USB devices? Have you tried charging from a PC? If so, unfortunately this issue sounds like a hardware related issue and will require sending on for warranty service. Please feel free to contact me direct at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
ASUS_USA
my phone died yesterday like that. i connect my phone to my computer with Asus usb cable the one comes with phone. my phone screen cracked about 1 month ago but it was not disturbing me so i didn't repaired it. right now nothing works on the phone.. at the moment i connect my phone it turned off and for 1 sec battery screen appaired then nothing. can't see my phone when i connect to pc with adb or something like that too so i think problem is more then screen but any idea ? @Asus_USA @Asus

The guy uses a metal tip pin to release the battery connector? seems that is risky and may short something out. These asus phones have so many issues, that's for sure.

Despite replacing USB power board & Sim/Microsd holder still cannot get charge

Hi guys
Just cannot seem to get the thing to charge.
Tried different charger/usb cable. Got completely new USB power board. Sometimes the battery icon comes up on the screen when i turn it on of just a battery with a bit of low red at the bottom of it. It won't turn on. Theres not even a charging beacon light on top of the phone to indicate charge.
What does this usually show? Bricked phone, bad motherboard or bad battery?
Cheers.

Is the error that comes to screen
"USB not supported"?
not getting any error mate. It is totally dead.
I did buy a new battery which had 4% life left. Not enough to copy 64GB data to an SD card.
It seems it must be the main board which is damaged. I have replaced the power board and the middle ribbon cable. This has to be a mobo issue unless u can think of anything else?

I still don't think that's mobo issue. Try this before you intend to replace your mobo.
Plug in charging using any charger other than wall charger. Use a power bank or anything and when the battery icon shows up that you described in first post(the red icon) leave it there as it is and let it charge over night. Try powering up in the morning.

I think your phone needs a doctor ?. Take him to the hospital (service center). Last resort before going to service center is take the battery out and charge it using one of those battery charger.
