Not sure how much if a problem this is but sometimes when I go into the market on my desire and go to the my apps section it only shows me about half the apps I've installed.
Is there a way to get it to show them all again?
Worried that I might miss updates to some apps if they are not in the list.
I've had a look but unless I'm really blind I can't see anyone else reporting the same problem.
Thanks,
Sam

Have you installed any apps outside the market (apk files)?
They won't show up.
I've only installed market apps,
Just checked again and now they are back! Strange

this is a common problem and i found the best solution is to uninstall and reinstall a few apps that are not listed and some that are. . . solves it for me anywways
What always helps for me if this happens is going to applications in the device settings and clear the data and cache for Market.

Hi everyone,
Got a bit confused now. I've installed some apps from the market and when I go to "My apps" I see a list of installed apps.
The problem is, their status is set as their price tag, like 'free', but not as 'installed' as it should be.
Those apps are still on my phone and they do run, but in this case I don't know if there's an update are not.
Is there a way to fix this, please?
I hope someone has a clue.

Appbrain is better for me because I can see paid apps...

Alas, still cannot buy paid apps. It checks your carrier and if your country doesn't support paid apps, you don't get to do so online.

Is it correct that I cannot take a "backup" of my apps and reinstall from web after a flashing??? Too bad
I just tried to log on, but I get a certification failure, and if I comtinue the address is on a red background.
Works great. Click on it on your computer and it downloads and installs on your phone. My old eyes love this.
When i flash my phone, so all installed apps are deleted.. but this website shows me that the apps which i have installed before the flash are currently installed, too?
How can it be reactualized so that the online market shows me the apps correct..

Although you wiped your phone, you probably had your settings set up to back up your application information and to restore after an install. You can check that by going into Settings, and then Privacy. My ROM (aosp-CMod-20110201) has this feature, so whenever I wipe, format and flash a new update, all my apps are restored.

Very nice, this is how market should be.
Both free and paid apps work for me (Voda-NL) and get pushed straight to the phone, very convenient.
Hmm exciting?
as someone else already mentioned and shares my opinion:
appbrain rules. showing pay and free apps and relations.
So far I stick to appbrain.

Same here. Voda Aus
Still think it should be possible to save your applist as of now so you can reinstall after a factory reset...

I rooted and flashed CM7 on my HTC Desire a few weeks ago, and I've noticed something a while after doing so. I can never get my Android Market app to show my downloaded apps properly. At times, it just reverts to a blank slate. My concerns are that I cannot see update notifications properly, as there my apps are missing my market app list.
A secondary concern is that when I buy an app, I'll have problems re-downloading them, and might be forced to pay for it again.
If you need more information, please tell me.
OMG, I am also facing such problem!!
Cannot see installed apps like I updated flash player using market but later it just dissapear under my apps, skyfire missing, file expert missing!
Quite a number of downloaded free apps from market are missing under my apps!!
Currently using market version 2.3.4 from supernova rom 1.0.2.6?
Any help would be appreciated!
I did a bit more research, and this may shed some light.

This is what testmash is. It's not in my list at the playstore. Uninstall it. You must have picked it up somewhere. Maybe it came with your ROM

Have it in my list as well, also showing as installed. No option to uninstall and says incompatible with my device. Very odd.
I have it on my One X as well. Can't uninstall, even with a third-party uninstaller ("Easy Uninstall"). IF anyone knows how to force uninstall I'd love to know (not rooted currently).
I did have the same app on my One X as well, did a reset reinstalled apps one at a time and it was back after I updated Google Maps(second app updated). As far as uninstalling app without reset it can be achieved with a rooted device. Not sure the ins and outs but know it can be done. Hope this helps some of you.
Me too
New HTC One X - got it this afternoon from AT&T store
OTA update installed.
I'm seeing TestMashed also.
So this is something apparently installed with Google Maps?
Is it possible many people have this as well?
But because it is listed in such an obscure location most users are not noticing...

I do have some details but not much

Apple Patents dispute, Caller ID tie in, now here I read it has to do with Google Maps? (confused)
testmashed again
Thought I was done with TestMashed until I took a look in Play Store. This time I did nothing and it was back going to try to uninstall or delete now that I rooted One X,will repost with results after I'm done. Also did not update Google Maps like in previous post so completely confused now.
[Q] Something is installing " the hobbit" & "kingdom of camelot" apps?
I'm seeing two apps that have been installed THE HOBBIT and KINGDOM of CAMELOT. I did not install them. Any idea what's installing them without my permission? And I'm not saying these are REAL apps. that's just what they are titled. Once I clicked on one and it tried to open a browser window.
Also, I noticed an app called COOL APPS that goes to a browser window: www.iconadverse.com/redirect
I'd like to find what is installing this ****.
Thanks
Maxi
Have you downloaded a free app from the Play Store lately?
A lot of apps do this to make money. Usually it installs some kind of search app.
Uninstall some recently installed apps and see if they go away.
Are you rooted? If not, its not possible for an app to install other apps in the background without user confirmation, or so I've picked up on from my reading.

Sort your apps by installation date, and post the last dozen here.
I don't know if it's worth installing an anti-malware app at this point, but you can try Addons Detector. That might be able to find the offending app.
And odds are that what you see as apps for the Hobbit and whatever are only shortcuts placed on your homescreen by a bad developer. Either way, I'd be concerned and upset. I hope you will find the cause of this and go back to the Play Store to comment/rate as needed (unless you sideloaded it..)
Both are being advertised on Facebook this week sounds like you clicked on it from there.
