(Got no help in Q&A section so I decided to post here too)
Hey guys I want to replace my current g2 for another one cause of some physical damage. The only problem is, is that it is rooted and I know that voids the warranty. So does anybody know how to unroot the g2? I AM ROOTED WITH VISIONARY r14. Thanks guys!

You posted your question, bumped it in less than an hour and then immediately posted the question again in the wrong forum? Have some patience. Check out the answer in your other thread. And I'm not familiar with how Visionary does its permroot, but you might also want to search---there have been numerous unroot questions asked and answered.

I've rooted my phone about a week ago , but i'd like to unroot it for warranty , i'm on the 1.34PC10IMG.zip stock , do you guys any simple ways to unroot my phone completely?

i rooted with rage/g-free method , it's a Desire Z
should i run the 1.72 system update ? it's 1.34 atm , will it unroot me ?

but that's G2 guide , i already used a other g2 unroot guide on my phone once and it screwd everything up , this is my friends desire Z which im trying to unroot , someone knows a trustable HTC desire Z unroot guide??? no G2 please
or will my phone get unrooted when updating to 1.72?

the guide you're talking about is the one who messed up my own phone... , because i received G2 rom , instead of sense , plus the comments are very negative

it's the how to for Desire Z , and it has no unrooting guide , the HTC Vision G2 t-mobile does. but that's not what i want i want sense stock back...

Well I'm kinda new to all this rooting and in search of help, I've looked through a lot of guides and well it's pointing me at diff' directions.
I'm trying to get my Xperia arc 2.3.4 .283 locked Europe (Norway) rooted but I'm a bit concern about the 0% battery issue and bricking. Could some one guide me to well... Some where there it's easy to flash/oneclick?
Reading the guides should give you the general idea of what to do, and any questions or doubts could have been asked on them.

I know the G2 is a old phone , but I decided to get one anyway. I alwatay a generation behind in phones it per and since Im prepaid , I think it makes more sense.
Anyway I have been looking a few youtube videos and some of the old threads on here. Please dont blast me too bad, but I was wondering if I should root my phone since it is already unlocked?

Now the last phone I rooted and played around with was a Kiaser a few years ago. That was wayyyyyy easier than these new threads. So my noobie questions are this
1. should I try to root a phone already unlocked?
2. how can I root a phone? What I mean is most of the stuff in the old threads aren't avaliable is some places anymore
3. is there a thread I can start at on how to do the procedure?
would appreciate any help

yes you should root it asap.
If you have a bad emmc chip, it wont boot when it'll fail.
If you are rooted, you could run the os on the sd.

This the guide i used when i rooted my Desire Z. It looks a bit hard, but when i did it i didn't know anything about rooting so you can do it to.

Till now, the only way to get a rooted jellybean on locked bootloader is to flash a prerooted firmware or create your own prerooted firmware
