Hi everyone, my dhd finally arrived and after started playing a little bit with it i decided to transfer some movies..
first of all i didn t quite understand how to transfer a movie with the htc sync but anyway.. i just attached to my pc as a disk and transferred it with a copy and paste.. I "bought" the simpsons s22 and after that i went to watch them some of them played and other did not.. same happened with some other movies... al in avi format... Does anyone know how should i transfer some movies?
thanks in advance
Download Rockplayer or VPlayer Beta from Market, DHD's mediaplayer is worthless when it comes to playing most common movie containers..

Hi
I have some issues in the video recorded by GS2 device. It works fine and excellent when i play it in my GS2. I copied the mp4 files to my laptop and when i play it using VLC media player, it plays fine for few seconds and it freezes. After some time it plays back fine. The freezing part if puerly random Its happening for all the mp4 files that i copied over to my laptop.
I dont have any issues playing other mp4 files from my laptop using VLC player. Is anything/any settings needs to be changed?. Do i need to use different player?. Please help.
Thank you
that's your laptop codec issue
download CCCP and install it
VLC is not the greatest player, i use Zoom player, or the plain media player classic included with CCCP
VLC is one of the worst player ever (IMO)
[Q] T-Mobile Galaxy S2 plays choppy videos?
I have the T-Mobile Galaxy S2 that I just got like 2 weeks ago.
I have played videos using the VEVO app, Youtube app, youtube on the web, and watching Netflix.
All the videos I play seem to play choppy videos. My friend said it might be my bandwidth. I tried on my wifi, and also when connected to HSPA+. But when I do speedtests on T-Mobile's network, I get as high as 21Mbps down. Videos still choppy at times.
Is it the phones screen, or TouchWiz UI, or the T-Mobile ROM itself? I want the videos to play clear like on my old Nexus One, ipad 2, and like on my PC.
See? The problem is you have an ipad, as soon as you get rid of it it will play videos like magic. Ipad sends signals in teh air!

What?
I am watching videos from online. Not videos that Ive put on the devices.
Hi guys,
I really hope someone can help. I've been using my Epic 4G Touch for recording HD video for about a year now. I edit everything on Vegas Movie Studio Platinum v.11. Everything was fine until a couple of months ago. I was able to put my mp4 video files directly into my timeline and all was well with the world.
Recently, I've noticed that when I put video files into my timeline, the audio track is out of sync and a bit longer than the video track, The only work around I've found is to convert the files to another format. When converted out of mp4 into avi, dv or anything else, the sync is perfect, but this inevitably degrades the audio.
I've found nothing that I've done differently with my computer or smartphone except flashing ROM's. I even re-flashed the ROM I had before the trouble began, (Calkulin's E4GT2 v.1.6). Still same problem.
The mp4 files play just fine on my S2 and computer, but not when I try to edit them in Sony Vegas.
Help?
Thanks!
Hi. I was watching a TV show avi file on my stock GPad stored on a 128GB class 10 Sandisk, when suddenly it stopped working and said something like "Cannot play this video" which was strange as it had played the previous episodes and half of that episode fine. I was using MX Player so thought I'd try the stock video player and it couldn't load the files either. I tried some other files both avi and mkv and no luck either. Then I loaded the video files onto the internal memory and they play fine so its not a problem with the files or the media players. Also all my music and photos that are stored on the SD card play back fine. So why did video files stop working? Anybody else have this issue?

Yes i have this exact same problem put movies on sd card to watch on flights you watch half way then stops so now only put on device memory and same as you no problems one way is to store on sd card then transfer to device memory to play.all this i suspect is the kit kat update
Try installing the sd card monitor app and see if you are getting a bad removal about the time that the playback problem happens. See the following thread:

Hi everyone.
I bought last year Huawei Mate Pad11 (2021 model).
Everything is almost okay but i have one problem with watching movies.
If i want watch some movies downloaded for example in poor quality when I watch it the problem is with sounds/picture.
It lost sync and the sound's going quicker than picture.
It doesn't matter from which source I watched the movie ex. NAS, or USB pendrive (3.0).
For 8 to 10 movies it lost sync.
YouTube, Netflix, Amazon prime works properly.
I restored the tablet to factory settings but it not help.
Maybe someone can help me.
I will by very glad for any help.
Thanks
Hi! I have this External Hard Drive where I used to watch my movies for more than 2 years on my TCL c815 TV.
The other day, I decided to update my firmware to v715 android 11, I was really impressed with the changes made by the upgrade. However, I noticed that suddenly, video players like MX Player, VLC, Just Player, or most video players cannot see the videos on my Hard Drive., some see the Movie Folder name, but when I opened the folder, there's no movie file to be found. Although the Built-in Media Player can see and play movies, we all know that TCL's media player is not really 100% great as for some reason, the media player overstretched some movie types which sucks that TCL hasn't resolved yet. After more checking, I found out that only Kodi can see & play the movies from my hard drive, but Dolby Vision is not supported
I made re-installed the mentioned video players and made sure it has permission to access my files, etc. But with the same result. Also, whenever I open my MX player and clicked the USB storage, my External Harddrive will suddenly like be forced to eject or something, and cannot totally detect the hard drive. I have to re-plug it to be able to see the files again.
My question is: has anyone experienced this issue before?
Does formatting the drive would do? (Though I don't wanna lose the movies, it's kinda large
Downgrading the firmware work?
The external Hard Drive is Seagate with NTFS format
Thank you to anyone who's going to share their experience and solution!
