Any way to support T-Mobile's new (as of November) Caller ID (Caller Name) feature? It seems to require the phone understanding CNAM database lookups, but I don't really know how it works. I just hope it can be supported in software that can be modified on a rooted phone.

I had the same issue and have now reverted to version 2.2e.

Few weeks ago I had the same problem. Flashing the rom again solved my problem.

I guess the title says it all - just got a new tablet (a Hannspree Hannspad SN10), and was "shocked" to see no forum/forii for this device exists on XDA - Several people have broached the subject - mostly on the Viewsonic GTablet forums (similar device) and slatedroid has a forum for the device.
My question is: how does one go about starting a new forum for a new (at least in XDA) device?

We add devices which have proven to have a big activity and many members, Admin team revises every request for adding a new section and some of them make it, some other not.
Members can´t open new sections of course.
Said that I am moving your thread to proper section, please be patient.

using a us cellular desire and need to figure out how to make a hotspot. I have checked the market and cannot find an app for this. I am running froyo and do not wish to upgrade to gingerbread.

No I can't point you in the right direction. I have a gsm desire running a custom Rom which differs from yours massively.
If you put your problem in your thread title, people who may know the answer are more likely to respond. This is not only simple logic, but also part of the forum rules. Another forum rule is to use search, so if you're still going to be cheeky about my advice in regards to attracting the right audiences, I could point you in that "right direction" in future.

Hi everyone, I am new here and wanted some help.
I just installed the new express rom on my htc evo and I am loving it. I am having some minor issues though that I need help on.
1. I tried attaching pictures to my contacts and the pictures are showing up very blurry when the contact calls. It was clear with the stock htc before I installed the express rom. How can I make it clear?
2. I am trying to change the apps on the lock screen using the rosie utility and it doesn't work. When I try to change the apps from the "shortcut lock screen" it force closes. How can I fix this?
So far, those are the only problems I found right now but I just installed this last night so I will keep playing with it and learn more. Thank you for the help!! I really appreciate it!

I have searched and can't find a reference to this. Previously I subscribed to each of the forums within a particular device's area, e.g.

The problem is that when you are following three devices as well as the 'General' forums it means a lot of scrolling up and down on my mobile device. I have noticed that using the XDA Premium app I can actually subscribe to the parent forum (e.g. HTC Desire S) and this then appears in the app, with the ability for me to tap on it and see all the sub-forums. This is really useful. The problem is that the web-site version seems to then lose those forum subscriptions entirely.
Is there a solution for this, or is it just a 'feature' that I will have to live with?
I tried finding a solution to this a while back but there's no way to do it, unfortunately.
Hopefully the admins would think about implementing it if you make a request for it. It's definitely a good idea though.
