Can we clean the cache under Android OS? because I only have 2 Mb. There is an app on the market if it can?
search for cache cleaner in the market.
Cachemate, for rooted phones only....

Also browser history cleaner.

Hi,
I was just playing with a new rom & when i was restoring my apps, I noticed that when I went to the market, they were not showing up under downloads.
I am using CM 6.1 & am restoring from a CM 6.1 rom. I was messing with theme animations & now my market links are gone.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rich
if you have premium, look for market doctor somewhare in the app. if using free, no solution except pay 4 bucks to a great dev who deserves it.
If you clear data and cache of Android Market and force stop, it will reload the list of installed applications next time it starts.
You do this "manage applications"
This didn't work for me

Ok so I have no clue why I have this ocurring low memory message on my phone. I have only installed about 20 apps on top of about 50 others that are just junk (which I would love to delete).
Looking through some folders I noticed that the Dalvik one was occupying 129mb which has led me to believe that maybe this is part of my memory problem.
Now, I know I have to go into recovery (volume down + power button). I select Recovery and I don't see the option to wipe Dalvik cache unless I do a factory wipe. I have no clue how to boot into clockworkmod in order to wipe just the Dalvik.
Can someone point me in the right direction please. Thanks
EDIT: I went into the app Root Explorer> data> dalvik-cache > menu > multi-select > delete. But this didn't solve my space issue. I still only have 17.9 mb available

I'm assuming that you're on a Sense/Espresso based ROM. If I assumed correct you will want to consider apps2sd, as with Sense ROMs you really don't have much space on /data
Hi r0man! I actually think the app2sk came with the Rom I have installed. Is a2sd the same?
Hi,
I've searched the forum and have been trying cache cleaners since there's less memory left after uninstalling an app compared to before its installation.
Does anyone know how android is working when it is installing / uninstalling apps / games?
If I install a game >> --- --- --- --- --- --- >> and then uninstall it, what is being left? Or isn't there anything left, except cache that can be cleaned?
How to properly uninstall an app / game to get rid of everything?
Best regards.
Depends on the program - it may leave some data on the SD Card, Dalvik-Cache.
Hi there!
i'm facing a biggg problem in HTC Desire right now =(
my cell phone is showing low space while i have few apps in my cell phone. whenever i installed a new app it does't install. plz give me suggestions on it.
This is my first attempt to being helpful:
1. Try uninstalling some unnecessary apps from your phone (settings > manage applications > click an app > unistall)
2. Or move your apps onto your SD card (manage applications > click an app > move to SD)
3. Or clear the cache/data off your apps (manage applications > click an app > clear cache &/or data)

Is there a good cache cleaner for Android where it cleans the cache of apps and also temporarily download files?
Is the Xposed moduled Smart Booster any good?

Power off, boot into system recovery (Home button+Volume up+Power) and Wipe cache partition...Works great for me and you don't need a cache cleaner.
Next, open Settings - General - Storage Tap Cached data and OK.
