[Q] CRT animation on stock EG22 deodexed with root?

I found this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1189227) for CRT animation and overscroll and was wondering if it'll work or do I have to be on a ROM.
I'm currently stock with root , deodexed, found here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1184134)
Will it work? If not, what ROM do you all recommend?

i would just like to ask where can i get the default bootanimation and downanimation for DHD. i'm currently on Virtuous Unity rom and i wan't to replace the boot/down animation to default? is it possible? thanks!

Is it possible to get CRT animation for New wfs ROMs (4.1+) that don't have them included?
I saw another post about CRT for gingerbread, is it the same for JB?
