OK this is probably a dumb question but what consists of the entire myns warm rls4 ui? Is it just the framework folder or are their other folders and zipped files in play? Also if I was to rip and paste to another rom would that not work? If not, can anyone give me a quiCK tutorial in porting the myns RLS4 UI? OR IF YOU LOVE TO HELP PEOPLE DO IT FOR ME? THANK YOU FOR ALL THE ANSWERS!

If you love the UI so much, why not just install it? It's a great ROM, and it has a lot of excellent addons too. Oh, and you can use EVO themes on it
I know. I'm running it. I just wanna try different stuff with the same framework/theme/ui LOL.
Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk
Oh lol well the Warm-themed LauncherPro works on any ROM... I'm not a dev so I can't say about the framework stuff.
What exact things are you wanting from it because I could help you out. I'm not a dev but I can port and theme like no other. Most of htc resource and framework res can be copied with 7z . I'm running skyraider right now with the alot of myns mixed in. Just get at me I'll see if I can help.
Like the lock screen and main pages. What consists of everything you see pretty much? Cause I know framework-res.apk but I don't know anything else LOL.
Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk
framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi
and
com.htc.resources.apk/res/drawable-hdpi
For the most part it's manup456's rEVOlution theme though. There are a few ports of it in the Incredible Themes and Apps section.
So only those 2 things are what I need to push to the other rom?
Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk
No, those just the folders in which the image files are located in. If you push the whole .apks you will overwrite the rom's essential files and it will not boot.
The easiest way would be to extract the .pngs and apply them on the new rom with metamorph.
how do i apply them with metamorph?
and do i push the .xml's too? or just the .png's?

Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
No biggie. I dont even care about the cyan junk...i just want the pretty colors LOL
This does look really cool, I would port it but I'm not a fan of blue lol. I'll download the rom and poke around in the framework to see the images and how easy it would be to port.

Slick looking theme! Wish I knew something about porting!
upload your framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk and i will see what i can do. you will have to test as i have a vibrant
This one is nice too, its a darker blue than the one from the OP http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=684980
I've been able to replace our Market and notification background with both versions from the above posts, and they are real sick! I can start posting them as I go along but I've never posted a zip, nor do I know how to create a zip to flash in clockwork so I'll take a look around and figure it out, or if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it!
Freakin sweet!! Downloading now and adding bits and pieces to my theme too. Like posted above I'm not familiar on how to make a flashable zip through clockwork either. maybe someone will chime in.

I usually just grab an existing (theme only), delete out the stuff I don't want, add in the apks (like framework-res.apk) I've modded, then flash... if you're just doing png edits. And make sure you keep the same file structure, of course.
Well I actually tried that but was unsuccessful. Maybe because I was using winrar. I'll try it with 7zip maybe that's my issue. Thanks!

Not really sure of the differences involved.. but id like to convert the custom theme I made to eb13. Anybody interested in making a tutorial? Or perhaps just replying with some help and I can work on it?
maybe
according to the creatr of midnight rom,Dk28 themes still work for EB13 but dont hold me to that
Its the same way you created your theme in the first place. Just party attention to the image sizes and names when transferring them over. Don't put a .png where it should be a .9.png and via versa

I wouldn't do that as alot of apps have been updated since dk28 and minor code changes. At first glance certain things might work but you won't notice what's beyond untill you used it for a little bit
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
so basically i can get away with using the same framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk as dk28? just not other themed apps that might have changed since the update? excellent this will be a lot easier than i thought... got some work to do.

I just extracted the WarmZ 2.1 skin from a WarmZ Nightly ROM for the DInc and dropped it in the /system/app and gave it the same permissions.
Worked fine after a restart
Is that the skin youre referring to?

When you did this, did the Skin even show up for you to choose when you restarted? Another person was telling me they had that problem.
I'm running the RMK ROM debloated if that helps.
No did not show up. I gave it same permissions as wood.apk with root explorer.
Edit....I also am running that rom

I just tried this on my phone, it seems to work as well. I just extracted the images from the drawable.* folders and replaced the ones inside of the Blackboard.apk (Renaming it didnt show up. Had to leave it the same name. I'm not exactly sure how to sign a skin and edit the rigth xml files yet lol)
DL this file, use root explorer to place in /system/app and give same permission, restart and then select it. The preview still shows Blackboard, but the skin is WarmZ
I think that should do it. deleted it twice and set it back in the /system/app and it works. Hit the thanks if so
EDIT: If I need to give thanks, thanks to Incubus from the DInc community for this skin. It's his work
Did not work. Thanks for the help man. Idk my phone doeant like it I guess. I've tried over and over. Makes no sense. Thanks anyway

you dont install it.
just copy the downloaded file and replace the original Blackboard.apk in /system/app then give the same permissions, then reboot.

Yea. It's because the clock widget itself has been skinned. After skinning them to match everything else, it looses the flip animation
REALLY wish it flipped.
I hope somebody can find a way to fix the flip clock.
I use KInGdOm ReWiND 3D-[2.3.3]-[Sense 3.0] and need battery with percentage for this ROM. I already asked on ROM thread but no reply's. File must change battery icon only nothing else, I tried some stuff but they change other things and I loose 3d effects so don't want that. Anyone ?
Anyone ?

Hey XDA'ers,
Quick question, just wondering if anyone would know... I'm running Viperrom Synergy, and I wanna upgrade to EG22. But I LOVE my viper pad. It's an app in my app drawer... Think I can move the app to SD or computer hard drive and then move it back to the phone after upgrading to gingerbread?
Just curious to see if anyone's done it before...
Yes I've been running it on EH06 for the past week and its working like a charm =D
Im actually porting the themeing from VIPERrom SynErgY.... you should check it out
Just download Swipepad from the market. Its the identical same thing. And you'll receive updates now. That's wut I did when I lost my precious viperpad.
If u require viperpad for sum reason still just extract it from system/apps in viperrom and paste it into system/apps on ur new rom and restart.

same here. viperrom made me completely reliant on some "pad". def an overlooked app...really really useful and reliable.
here's the market link for swipe pad (in case ur crippled) and the system/app viperpad (extracted from viperrom)::

**something you can try if you DON'T want these to be installed as system/apps - after you DO place them in the system/app folder, go into titanium pro, long press both apps, and try to convert to regular user apps (that show up in data/app folder). This will probablyl work, but i havent tested. Worked with gmail, though.**
dayammm looking at viperrom again brings back some awesome memories. my first rom! it really was the coolest themed rom i've seen so far, too. really holds up lol.

Its like that little Android guy on Cyanogen where the team could post messages about upcoming releases. They would post when new ViperROM or new Genocide kernel was coming.
