Welcome
I am running Gyrator 2 but I have a problem with it. When reversed (horizontally) and locked the phone can not unlock the phone (screen is black). How to set up a program in the exceptions screen locked in an upright position to a locked phone?
Thanks for your
I have the same problem with gyrator.
Lockscreen is: gwes.
could you write for more details...
what and where you need to set...
Add gwes in the exceptions list.
for me this exception does not work either I'm doing something wrong.
In the menu choose Gyrator Exceptions, type in any name in the Application window, type a * gwes, Portrait orientation in the window, and in the Config window enet Orientation emphasize the new rule.
What is wrong?
What do you mean with "type a * gwes"? Write only "gwes" and set it only for portrait.
at the "aplication" window i wrote " *gwes " , now i change it for " gwes " and selec Portrait at Orientation window and still dont work event.
I wont disable rotation the lock screen. When a press upper button (turn on button) at landscape i can`t unlock phone becouse the screen is black then i must press turn off button again and turn on at portrait view, then i could unlock phone....
tell me what i do bad??
Try without spaces in front and behind it, save changing and make a soft reset.
I tried various command gwes records but to no avail
Do you use CHT or any lockscreen app?
No,
I have standard WM (5.2.23103) with Manila (2.5.20131825.3) but HTC Sens is turn off becouse i use SPB Shell.
When i wont lock phone a press turn of.off button then i have a digital clock and i must move it for unlock phone.
You had to write that you use Spb Shell.
"gwes" is for default lockscreen. For Spb Shell I don't know the exact name, because I don't use it.
may have an idea how to find out what process / application is responsible for the screen saver or the on / off button?
i tray changeScreen v2.78 and this aplication works wery good. There is option " show app Names" and for lock phone app is gwes.
I don`t know why gyrotor don`t work.
I also use ChangeScreen and it's much better than Gyrator. Have you succeed not to rotate lockscreen with it?
Yes i do this succes. I add exception gwes and select corect position of screen.

Hi there,
Can someone tell me if there is an application that just a replacement for the lock\unlock feature on Touch HD when you hold down the end Call button for 3seconds.
I know the closest thing to this is the S2U2 app but i don't want to replace my screen with the S2U2 Screen (S2U2 is a cool app with lots of fucntions!)
So instead of pressing the unlock (bottom Left) just use the slider to unlock if i need to use the phone.
At the same time, maybe have options so that when a call is received, the TouchHD Answer\Reject appears but everything is locked so the call can't be answered accidentally.
??
Thanks!
Change S2U2 Wallpaper's files with your screen background ^^ then you can cut off the virtual HW key to Answer/Reject in S2U2's settings

I want to make my screen rotate via manila button.
I`m doing in registry:
HomeLSKPath: "\windows\manila.exe"
HomeLSKText: "Rotate"
HomeLSKArguments: "?????"
What command (argument) will rotate screen ?
Of course i can assign here for example program zenyee rotatescreen, but i wonder if manila can do it itself ?
Assign one of the Hardware Key to Rotate.. For eg.. When you long press the Call button it rotates the current active window.. If you are on Manila, then it rotates it, but Manila is not good in Landscape mode.. You can try it out.
You can change this under settings --> button.
I don't see there is option to rotate screen for the 'Button1 (hold)' only list of program and some virtual keys
You have to enable the rotation with Advanced config(i think you have to enable "show orientation settings" under screen menu) and then you will find the <rotate> option in button settings
Thanks, I found out it need to use the HD Tweak to enable screen rotate first.
I know alot of threads has been made but i really cant find anything about this ? Maybe im dumb or whatever, but when i go into global settings, i cant change anything. Whatever i do, the option gets automatically put back to "standard".
Do i have to register to be able to do this ? Is this a glitch ?
PS. i hate my Touch Pro 2 now!
Try pushing the "arrow" Hardware Button right beside your "hang-up" button. That should save your morphgear settings. I had the same problem a while back
It is kind of a glitch, since morphgear was made for Windows Mobile 6.X - the "ok" button wont show up when using WM 6.5.X
I'm afraid that's not the problem I have.
When I tap the new value I want to change to, I don't even get the new value shown. It just pops back into the standard value at once.
Example:
I go into global settings, and wish to change Display - Driver from Auto to GDI. Now when I activate the pulldown, i tap GDI. The pulldown is deactivated and I am suppose to be left with GDI in the value-field, but instead mine says Auto once again.
Any ideas ?

Ah, i see - did you try double tapping your selected option? That did it for me.
If that doesnt work, try opening the dropdown menu (preferably with your keyboard enter button) and use your keyboard arrow keys to select the one you want and press the enter button again to confirm your value.
I hope one of those options works for you.
Arrows and enter enabled me to be able to select my options.
Now only to find out how to make the gameframe show correct on landscape
I am currently experiencing some trouble with the frame being out of my screen. Any ideas on how to make this work on NES games ?
Yes i changed options on screensize, this changes the size of corse but the frame is still off my screen
EDIT:
Actually nevermind... Im not gonna pay for a program i need to costumize myself, when its not even working properly Tnx for your help though!
If you want to fix your Landscape problem, I would really recommend reading through fire_z's post found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=565163
For example a part of it here:
It is interesting to note that using the RawFramebuffer as a Driver gives better speed than GDI,(based on my M900)which works effortlessly in Portrait. But making it work in Landscape mode full screen is a little bit tricky.
To use Rawframebuffer in landscape:
B. Rawframebuffer Landscape: (Full Screen)
1. Repeat step 3 (of the above GDI guide)
2. Do step 4 (above) but change set settings to:
Driver: RawFramebuffer
0rientation: East
uncheck- use virtual pad
Check- Enable Sound
CPU Throttle: High
3. Soft Reset Device
4. When device resumes, slide to reveal keyboard (this will automatically sets screen to landscape).BUT BEFORE running MorphGear, with/while keyboard slided out, change Orientation to Portrait.
5. Run MorphGear. Check if the settings icons are vertically situated in the LEFT side and the MorphGear logo horizontal (if this is the case you're in the right track).
6. Repeat step 7 (above)
7. Now the tricky part, in mapping controls remember that the directions are not what they seem. For example if your using keys W-A-S-Z as UP-LEFT-RIGHT-DOWN (IN GDI landscape mode), WHEN using Rawframebuffer, UP=LEFT,RIGHT=UP, LEFT=DOWN, DOWN=RIGHT.
Yup it's a little bit confusing, but it's the only way to get logical direction controls. If you want to use W-A-S-Z, just set it this way:
UP-A
LEFT-W
RIGHT-Z
DOWN-S
And click ok.
8. Locate and Choose ROM.Tap screen to set Full Screen. Enjoy Game. (Refer to Step 9 above)
9. If you want to play another console rom (like gba, snes, genesis etc.) just repeat steps 6 to 8 on this Rawframebuffer guide.
NOTE: One important thing to remember is NEVER activate the device's LANDSCAPE mode WHILE using the RawFramebuffer or you'll end up a jumbled display. If this happens, just totally exit Morphgear via exit button or via task manager, switch to portrait mode while the keyboard is slided out and run MorphGear.
To sum up things, if you want to have Playable Games in Full Screen Landscape.
1. For TurboGrafx-16,NES,MasterGear,Gameboy GB and GB ROMs,use GDI.
2. For SNES,Gameboy Advance and Genesis ROMs,use RawFrameBuffer(TurboGrafx-16,NES,MasterGear,Gameboy GB and GB ROMs works great in RawFramebuffer too, but as I said, it's a little bit tricky.)
To have more speed.
1. Adjust screen size to Fit Window or Smaller.
2. Disable Image Smoothing.
3. For even more speed, play Games in Portrait Mode ( just set Global Settings/Orientation= North, applicable for both GDI and RawFramebuffer.) But why bother portrait, games are still playable in landscape, and our device have a KEYBOARD remember? (reminds me of the upcoming PSP GO)
Enjoy!

Try going through his settings and your games should be running without any problems. I'm finally able to run nearly any snes game mostly full speed, except for Seiken Densetsu 3 and Super Metroid. (And except for sound, since morphgear is just way too old and our processing power sucks when emulating snes sound)
His instructions might seem a little complicated at first, but his settings work great for me. The only thing you have to consider, is that when opening your keyboard, our screen automatically turns to landscape. I assigned my "long press send button" to rotate my screen back to portrait mode when my keyboard is out. That way im able to use the settings (Orientation east) that fire_z posted.
Which brings me to the point where morphgear is too old... im not going to motivate people looking for "alternate ways" to a piece of software...
...but paying for a piece of software that is old as hell and hasnt been updated in years - i would strongly suggest to spend your money in other great WM software out there. I find it outrages, that spicy pixel still offer there products in such a ripoff of a price. (At least the SNES module is for free)
Too bad nobody is coding any new snes emulators on WM - that would be something i would definitely be paying for.
As the title says I m looking for a way to disable the default lock screen. I use s2u2 but all ways get double locked and its just freaking annoying. So if any one can tell me how to disable the default lock screen that would be much appreciated.
Thanks
I don't have this problem, but I'd like to know how to assign the long press of the right phone key to access the S2U2 lock instead of the stock lock screen.

You own an lg incite before?
Use RhodiumHardwareKeyRemapper. Just do a search on here for it.

Depends on your type of rhodium and ROM, I suppose. I use Co0kie's Home Tab (CHT) and use that lock (which has music player controls as well), so can't remember how to do it without (and not sure if can be disabled in 6.5, although CHT gives you the option), but try:
Settings > Menu > All settings > and uncheck "prompt if used for".
Probably does not work and/or you've already tried it so sorry if it is patronisingly obvious!
Disable default Lock screen
This is something from Jackos W6.5 Roms. Great Rom, but he also suggests disabling this, and using a different lock screen. I use S2U after running this. No double lock now.

Will this allow S2U2 to be the lockscreen when you hold the right phone button down? My lockscreen has always been disabled and after installing S2U2 I had zero problems with double lock. I would just like to be able to make it the default so that when I press the button I get it instead of the WinMo lockscreen.
Hi,
I have enabled FDE on my G4. This makes it impossible to switch back to swipe or any other lock screen type that would allow me to change apps shortcuts on said lock screen. That's ok if you always have the PIN code keypad displayed on the lock screen but if Smart Lock is enabled and there is no need to enter a PIN, the default lock screen and apps shortcuts are shown. I can't modify these since the settings app considers that it is not relevant to my screen lock type and doesn't show the Shortcuts option.
Is there any way to launch the lock screen apps shortcut activity manually?
Thanks,
Yes!
Change the screen lock to Swipe. This is the only way it'll show the shortcuts option!
After you set the shortcuts, set the pattern or any other unlock method again, and the shortcuts will stay
Nevermind. Just read you can't change to swipe.
Oops.
You need to launch a specific activity of the lock screen settings app. I used Tasker and the Secure Settings plugin. The app name is 'Lock Screen Settings' (not 'com.lge.provider.lockscreensettings'). The activity is called '[Shortcuts].ThemeSetting'. Launching that will open the screen where you can edit the shortcuts.

Same problem here, thanks for the tip. For me secure settings complains that it doesn't have permissions.
Are you rooted?
I am.

Try this:
- disable smart lock completly and choose swype as unlock option
- go out of settings
- enter settings again and go to "lock screen"
now there should be the option to edit the shortcuts. After that just enable smartlock again. I remember that i did it like that but i don't have a FDE.
