I'm a little confused. My clock and calender are the same as they were on my factory rom?
same here.. maybe you should make a screenshot of what you are meaning...
The samsung calendar+clock widget...I'm using darky's ROM and as a master of fact all of the stock samsung widgets gave been removed. However I am only interested in the calendar+clock widget...any ideas on how to get it back?
The closest I came to getting it back was that samsung .apk list on this forum, but the apk's don't install correctly...
AFAIK, those apks should be copied to /system/app
try copying the apk there. use adb or Root Explorer or Super Manager.
I need this Widget.
Please help me

You have to install the .apk with adb or something similar.

Hi.
I got an Xperia Arc after hawing an Xperia X10 Mini Pro a while..And on my x10MP I am running Froyocomb (based on Cm6) and this one has a werry nice widget list.
Like this.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and what I am wondering is if anyone can make the same widgetlist on the Arc?I HATE having 4 og more widgets from the same app in the list..makes the list totally messy.
Hope anyone can help.
AppWidgetPicker is the one you need I think. It's on other thread, get it from there.
EDIT: ok here's the link

I believe it requires "root" as the APK needed to be in /system/app folder and appropriate permissions are to be set.
Thanks..That made my widgetlist look SO mutch better.
Once again Xda gives fast and great help.
I was looking in the Development section and noticed the Euro Salsa Port 101 from Jikantaru ...

If you don't know how to flash it you can simply put the .apk on your SD card, install it and reboot the phone.
Should work
Ok here's the Polaris Office from Galaxy S. I didn't port it. I just found it and it works on ZTE Blade. You can make PowerPoint presentations, Excel Sheets, Word Documents with ease. It's very nice, so I thought I'll share. Some screenies:
Proof that it's on my homescreen:

Open Docs from anywhere:
Stuff you can do:
An example of an Excel sheet:
An example of a Power Point Presentation:
Download Zip from attachments It's NOT FLASHABLE... I also included a nice ringtone called Polaris, so you can push that to /system/media/ringtones/.
Push the file libpolarisoffice.so to /system/lib/.
Then Install the APK file normally or push it to /system/app/. It works for me on CM7.2. (running Touchwiz framework that my friend gave- but I'm sure it isn't needed for this app )

Rico

Do you need just a SIMPLE/SMALL/FAST Android Market just to download apps?
Here it is:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Requirements:
Have Google apps installed in your phone.
Instructions.
1. Rename (Remove .apk extention) of System/app/marketupdater.apk
2. Go to settings/app/Googleplay, click uninstall updates
3. Rename (Remove .apk extention) of System/app/Vending.apk
4. Place the attached apk in system/app (permision rw,r,r)
5. reboot.
To revert just undo the renaming and delete the vendingfroyo, then reboot.
1+ month trying this apk. 0 errors.
Credits: Got the app in an incredibly olddd HD2 post here in xda, but I lost the link.
