[Q] Anyone know of a trusted seller on ebay for batteries? - Vibrant Accessories

Anyone have a good experience from a specific ebay seller for batteries? I've been wanting to get a spare but I'm so wary of ending up with a fake and/or defective battery that will damage my phone. That said, I really don't want to dish out $100 for one from my carrier either. Even if someone knows where I can pick up an OEM battery for a decent price (ie not $100) it would be greatly appreciated. I'm with Telus, so don't know if there are any good places for OEM's in Canada. Thanks in advance!
Posted this on the Fascinate forum also.

Check this. I believe it's a Samsung-made original item. Price is decent too.

Thanks! I'll check it out!

BA For Sale

Sorry for the shameless plug but thought I'd post this here in case anyone happens to be after a Blue Angel/M2000.

Happy to consider sensible offers if anyone on here is interested.
Thanks.
I saw your ebay auction, but it seems to me (and correct me if I am wrong) that you will only ship within the UK. I am in the US and was wondering if you would be interested in selling it to me. Thanks.
Hi,
Yes, I initially set the auction up to sell to the UK only but I can find out how much the shipping charges would be if you are interested. I believe I also need to pay a customs fee?
How much are you prepared to pay for the device?
Thanks.
PS. I'll only ship to the US upon payment receipt due to the obvious potential for scams (I've already had someone in Nigeria try and buy it!) - no offence intended.

[Q] Anker/Hyperion Batteries in Canada?

Does anyone know where I can purchase an Anker or a Hyperion battery for my HTC Panache (Glacier) in Canada? All the stores that I've found that sell them on eBay and Amazon only ship to the US. I'm only looking for non-extended batteries, thank you very much. I'd appreciate if someone could find links for these batteries.
If those two batteries are unavailable, I would also accept links for OEM batteries, although I would prefer a higher mAh battery if possible.
Hey, did you end up finding anyone in Canada selling these batteries?

Extended battery for Canadian user?

Hi guys,
I've been looking furiously the last few days for an extended battery that I can have shipped to Canada. I looked at Amazon, but they don't ship to Canada and the Canadian price on Amazon.ca is a bit too much for a Hyperion. Ebay.ca has it as well, but they charge 25$ shipping (more than the product itself ) so I was thinking of the Max Power 4500s. I saw a review on the forums of it, and not many people seem to use it. Is it worth using, without the fear of damaging the phone? If not, is there any other extended battery you guys can recommend, without me having to pay a fortune (student, btw :silly.
Thanks .
Bump, anybody? . I was hoping to order something today.
Try This
Try this: amazon.com/Hyperion-Extended-Compatible-GT-i9300-T-mobile/dp/B008GWIVTQ
I don't have an Amazon account so I couldn't check for sure, but according to the shipping rates and policies it shouldn't be $25 for shipping international. Hopefully this works.

Thanks for the link. That's the same one I'm trying to have shipped to Canada. However, Amazon.com doesn't ship this particular one and the equivalent .ca website has it for the full $34.99, which is weird considering the savings the American site is offering. I was thinking of just going with the Max Power for $10 off of ebay, but not many people seem to use it.
Try Contacting Hyperion
Here's a link to the seller information page: amazon.com/gp/aag/details/ref=aag_m_ss?ie=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=&isCBA=&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&seller=A2J4FIRE2AQPV8#aag_legalInfo
Maybe you can contact them and ask if they can ship it out to Canada for you?

I'm not sure what price you think is reasonable. But I bought the hyperion on amazon.ca. For $35 I will say this.... no fuss, no muss. No duties charges. It shipped really fast. The only disappointment was that there was a small crack in the side of the case from shipping. After contacting Hyperion, they sent a new cover to me. The battery is worth every penny. I couldn't stand the lackluster battery life of the stock battery.

[R800x] - Suggestions on where to buy replacement parts?

I recently dropped my phone (while the case was on, believe it or not... It fell face down on a rock) and the screen broke. Now, I'm looking for a replacement. Does anybody happen to know of a reputable site for things like this? If it comes down to it, I'll buy a brick off of somebody on here, but I think that would be pricey... Anyway, thanks to anybody who can help me out.
EDIT: I guess I should say a replacement screen.
As someone who tried to replace parts for a XP. Its probably best to just get a replacement. If your R800x like me, Verizon, then there was a seller on eBay selling refurbed XPs for $88 free shipping. Also just did a search for Xperia PLAY screen replacement and this was the results. I would make sure 100% you know its the screen and not the digitizer as well... or you could go with just buying a screen and the touch digitizer.
Results:

Here is a fair condition R800x for $76

Or excellent condition for $80

If you have an unlocked BL and want to keep that device maybe buy a device listed as "for parts", typically around $40 on eBay, if you are NOT unlocked BL then I would probably just buy the one listed as excellent condition for $80 and be done.
Just trying to give you as many options as I would look into. Good luck

Thanks for the input. I like the idea of the "for parts" bit. I got my BL unlocked (luckily) when somebody was doing free unlocks before VZ shut them down. I'll be able to buy a new one in two weeks.

Where to buy spare parts in UK/EU?

Hello xda folks,
Has anyone bought any spare parts for their 10 and can recommend a site where to get them? UK/EU preferably import tax from the states really drives the price up.
I found a couple of places through google but no reviews on whether the parts received were actually any good.
I'm after a replacement battery, screen and possibly a back cover.
Thanks

Have a look at exe UK, they have a shop in Surrey I think and possibly you can send it in instead. I'm thinking of a new battery at some point but might wait until it gets so bad I can replace under warranty. Let us know how you get on, that company looks ok and I'd probably use them if I was out of warranty
