Hi there!
Do you guys know if it's possible to display more than one event on the default calendar widget? I have my university schedule saved on gcalendar, but the widget displays only one lesson!
Thanks for your time

Try Pure Calender Widget or Pure Grid Calender widget. I think that is what you want.
Or even Smooth Calendar Widget
Okay I'll give em and try. Thanks!

I am currently using Business Calendar Beta, and both the widgets and the calendar itself are quite powerful compared to the stock ones.

+1 for Smooth Calendar Widget
Displays 3 appointments and the widget is only 1x4.

as far as I know, this uses the Google calendar. I am using "my calender" synchronized with my Outlook. Therefore this should not work. Am I wrong?
An old thread but an ongoing issue. :/
I really like the 'stand alone' calender which comes with most of the GB Roms which doesn't need a google or exchange account to work.
I have tried to import the calender and calender storage to later android versions in a number of ways but in all cases I get install failed. If I copy them to system and change the attributes, it still doewsn't work.
Is anyone aware of a calender widget that works in a similar way ie Stand alone on phone and with a resizable reminder panel ?
TY for any help
I tried calengoo but it lags a lot... Any suggestions?
Pure Calender
Business Calendar or Forte
I like Business Calendar (got it as the free app of the day on Amazon) but I really have not looked at any others.
i like the colorize widget calendar
i say simple calendar widget

+1...I use both versions, agenda and grid. Very reasonably priced and updated frequently.
I loved the calendar widgets in Launcher Pro Plus as well as Go Launcher EX + Go Widget. In both cases I could have a full-page widget with a button that allowed me to switch between calendar and agenda view. However, I've recently switched to Apex Launcher from Go Launcher. This one issue (lack of desirable calendar widget) is making me consider going back to Go.
Anyone know of any similar calendar widgets that sync with Google calendar? I've tried Jorte but it came up way short.
Hi,
You can give a try to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rdr.widgets.core , it is the free version.
I'm really happy with Android Pro Widgets by DR. APPCHE. Skinnable, scrollable (on ICS).

I bought Pure Calendar and Business Calendar. I recomend Business, it is a little bit better.
Sometimes it appear with some huge discount.

nice one thanks
Is it possible to have the Touchwiz Calendar running on Apex or Nova? Or anything like it, like a themed one. I like a calendar witch shows the entire days of the month, I don't need it to show appointments because I already have the Google Calendar widget doing a good job. Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks
I use Pure Grid Calendar Widget.
i'm looking for a calendar widget that shows a full screen month view that syncs with google calendar and facebook. anyone have any suggestions?

Android Agenda Widget my go-to widget for years now, always getting better, tons of features and you can make it look almost any way you want.
As for facebook support... Never heard of any calendar that has that. And you would not want to "sync" with Google Calendar, just use the database. Anyway, if facebook is a requirement, don't think this one does it.
Pure Calendar is the best...

WOW! so I have got my New Nexus 7 32gb and it updated to 4.2.1 as soon as i powered it up and connected it to my wireless...
I am missing the calendar widget. the only calendar widget i have is for google calendar.
I really want the default calendar that shows me the whole month that i have on my phone, and from what i am reading it was originally part of the nexus 7, just wondering if it was removed or if for some reason i am missing something obvious and dont have it.
I could download any ordinary app from the store but why do that if i should have something already for free.

Google Calendar is basically just like the stock calendar.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/ Business Calendar Free is very good.
So good that I bought it.
On one side screen I set up a 5x5 Month Calendar widget (sized to cover whole window) and on the home screen I use another widget set as Agenda.
I really like that the widgets are re-sizable.
Many options.
Great app.:good:
so i went with android pro widgets for the full screen calendar and to get it synced with facebook i used UberSync which allows me to add facebook friends birthdays to the calendar. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ro.weednet.contactssync
Three words: Executive Assistant Plus ^_^ Epically awesome! (Ok, so that's 5, but I was only counting before the happy face lol)
Pure calendar widget and apw (android pro widgets)
Pure is really nice and super configurable. Plenty of themes too.

heavyweight champ!
Wizz widget. Free and looking great, plus has other goodies, like RSS news, facebook, twitter etc. Free version has limited customization options but it is enough for me (set font/back color/transparency)

Thanks for the heads-up. This app is good enough to pull me from Google's own calendar.
There's a reason this app is rated so highly.
I also had to buy it.
Simple Calendar Widget is pretty customizable and minimalistic for those who like that sort of look.: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anod.calendar&feature=nav_result

android pro widget + lucid theme and I never looked back
I think you will like this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2338410
My vote is for Jorte
Lots of widget sizes, fully customisable colours, can display your events etc. Use it on phone and tablet
Calengoo
It's a complete calendar app but the widgets are nicely done.
