I want to disable vibration when i type smth on standard soft keyboard. I've looked all settings but didn't find out the solution of the problem.
I have Desire Z.

Go to Settings -> Language and keyboard -> Touch Input -> Text Input -> Vibrate when typing, and you can disable vibration on the Desire Z.

hi to all xda members,
i recently open up my x1 hardware qwerty to clean. now the keyboard works very well.
but to further enhance it, anyone know any cab / register enable the qwerty keyboard has vibration feedback?
like press a button on hardware keyboard will trigger short vibration of the phone.. silly enough? probably, but would like to try.
I've got 2 little questions about my Desire Z hardware keyboard.
The hardware language is at English. Is there an APK to download so I can set it to dutch? (The problem is, if I type: wel [space] it will change it to we'll, which is quiet annoying.
Second question, I really mis a back button on my hardware keyboard, is there any way to simulate one with a program so I can set it to my #2 shortcut on my hardware keyboard?
Thnx for the help in advance.
i second this. it would also be nice to be able to map the 2nd button to go straight to home...
I try the galaxy s of my friend with a custom rom. it has a different vibration of touch button from stock rom... Can we install something like this on defy? I'd like to increase vibration time of menu, home, back and search button... (for now I have MIUI rom)
Disable "Haptic Feedback" in setts
use vibrafix (search on market).
Disabling haptic feedback in settings did not work for me.
thank for the answers but you didn't understand me I don't want to disable vibration, I want to increase or change type

Click to collapse
Setting > Language & Input > Google Keyboard setting > (check) Popup on Keypress
then u can go to advance setting and change popup delay
:good:
You can't enable pop-ups for tablets. I assume it's a design decision because the keys are that much bigger.

That option is not present on tablets...
Is there any other way to enable this...?
Having this same issue I really prefer to have the popup. Any way to enable this?

Only solution is another keyboard app that supports it. Try swiftkey, I use that for my tablet.
Hi everyone, sorry if my English is bad, you're my last chance?.
My question is simple : how can I disable theses annoying suggestions on top of the settings menu?
I already disable pixel launcher and swap button in the bottom, and install the 3 old buttons.
But I don't know how to silence theses suggestions.
Thank you!
P.s. : swap suggestions is not an option, cause as soon as I use again settings, suggestions come back too.
Exemple : vibration mode is active, and this notification is always back on settings menu...
