Heya,
So I have some contacts on my phone that are not linked to their facebook accounts. Any idea how I can manually link them to their facebook accounts ?
Cheers
MJ
Go to people app. To get there, on your home screen, click on Phone, then on the bottom right hand corner you have a icon to click on. Click on it, then you have 4 or 5 icons along the bottom (forgot) and the go to the fry left icon.
In there find your contact, click on it.
On this new page on the top right hand corner you have this link icon, click on it, it will prompt you to select what you want to link. Then search and then link.
You must however have FB syncing at this stage or you want have any contacts to link
Thank you

I am trying to sync all my contacts to gmail/facebook but I have to manually go into each contact and click the link icon (I have the names exactly right too). If I click on link the suggestion is there but I want it to be automatic. Is there a way to do it?
I also saw an annoyance that when syncing with facebook it adds all contacts phone numbers which you can remove them by changing the view options but they still show in search - how annoying!! Couldn't see any work around for this on the other threads...?
im saving a new contact to the phone.
but it doesnt show up when i check at contact.
but when i saving new contact to google it show up.
Hi.
Go to your contacts and click the little icon with 3 heads at the top left, and that will give you the option of what contacts to display, gmail or phone.

Just tried it but it sends them all pixelated?
Yea, that's android for ya. Don't know a solution bro.
to place a picture for a individual contact.
go to the contact you want to add a picture to in the contact folder.
then press the three dots on the top right corner = to the menu
press edit
on the far right of the name of the contact there is a square with a face that where the picture goes.

Is there a way to ungroup messages in GMail? It keeps adding all messages into one message from one sender..
I don't think so. That's the whole point of Gmail, it threads messages by subject.
Yes You Can..

By default, Gmail was originally designed to keep all the messages and replies with the same subject line grouped together in one convenient place. While this “conversation view” was intended to spare users the chore of rooting around the In box for a particular message in the thread, it can be unwieldy when a lot of people are contributing to the conversation.
Google realized that not everybody likes having the messages clumped together, so Gmail now makes it optional. To ungroup your messages, log into your Gmail account on the Web, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and choose Mail Settings. On the General tab, in the Conversation View area, click the button next to “Conversation view off” and then click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the settings page.

I'm trying to add a calendar using a link to my SGN4, and my google account. I have managed to do this on my laptop with thunderbird and lightning, but I can't find any info on how to do this with the phone.
I've been told to:
1. Logged into the website and went to "My Stuff" and select "Subscribe to Calendar".
2. Highlighted the link it gave me and copied it (ctrl-C).
3. Went to calendar.google.com, and on the left side clicked the down arrow with the box around it to the right of "Other calendars".
4. Selected "Add by URL" and pasted the copied link into the box and clicked "Add Calendar".
5. You should see the calendar show up under "Other calendars" now. You can edit it's appearance (color, name, etc.) by clicking the down arrow to the right of the new calendar which shows up when you mouse over it.
6. With your phone, go to your Calendar app and go to "Manage calandars". For my S6, this is under "More" in the top right corner.
7. Slide the slider to "On" next to the Webhost calendar and it should show up.
When I get to step 4, my google account does not give me the option to "add calendar by url", or at least I can't see it. My link is this, well similar:
https://www.x.org/iCalendar.aspx?xxxxxxxxxxxx
I replaced my personal info with xs. but the rest is accurate.
Any help is appreciated, as this seems like a task that should take about 5min, and it's taking forever
TIA

No one can help me with this at all? My phone recently updated to 6.0.1, and I still can't add my calender, or sync all of them to the phone.

Did you try the Google Calendar app on the Play Store? That's what I use and have no problem at all.
That's the calender app I have iirc.
