you could accidentally drop it in the toilet or "lose" it
Microwave, 3 or 4 seconds...done. But, good luck getting a phone in under a few weeks.

Hey guys, I've searched for this quite a bit and have not seemed to find what is the culprit for this. I have installed a brand new SD card but this also happened on the old SD card so it's not the card just some of the data

Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have you tried to redownload the rom, it could be a bad download.
My Desire is stuck in reboot loop, it keeps on rebooting on its own if it starts up, and most of the times it gets stuck on the HTC logo. I have to take out the battery and reinsert it to get the desire to start again. After trying a lots of times, I was able to get into recovery and I saved the ClockworkMOD recovery session log.
It is running HBOOT 0.0080, Radio 5.17 and CyanogenMOD 7 and security flag is S-ON
I tried reflashing it with different ROM's and radio versions, but without any success.
Here is the log, if it helps out somehow..

Hello. What have you done that made your phone constantly restarting???
I have helped someone with a problem close to yours, but after he managed to install a RUU (he debranded the phone and had no ROM and no CWM) the phone started to reboot constantly.
The problem is that this one is not a soft problem but a motherboard problem. So the only resolve is to try to install a RUU following this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1118353 and the get to guarantee and get it fixed.
I have given some links in the thread I have mentioned on how to flash a PB99IMG from the hboot.
Hope this helps you. Waiting for your response.
NAND Bad Blocks..Problem Initiation
Hi,
As far as I remember there was nothing done to the phone, absolutely nothing..
It was running as a branded O2, for about 3 months, then I rooted it and changed the ROM to Cyanogen MOD, Installed some additional applications.
Everything was working normally for 2 months, and absolutely no change was made to the ROM or applications, and one day VOILA!! it started rebooting..
Now, That has me dumbstruck..
Anyway, it could be a motherboard problem, but I think I the NAND storage can be formatted at low level or no R/W access provided for the bad blocks by marking them (like in other filesystems), it may resolve the issue. (Check the recovery log in first post towards the end.)
I tried the RUU update, but it keeps on saying Low Main battery level, even when the battery is fully charged..It says the same thing for another battery I tried to use.
I didn't try the PB199IMG method, because the phone is S-ON, so I am going to create a GOLD card and S-OFF the phone today and try this method..
Will update the result after flashing though bootloader..
Hello.
You don't need to be S-OFF to run the PB99IMG from boot. You only need the Gold Card. This is why you must make it.
The S-OFF procedure helps you flash other unsigned zip files, but you don't need it for this process.
Hello everyone,
I just noticed some FCs on my HTC Desire so I tried to investigate. I reinstalled my rom and during formatting cache, I noticed the following:
-- Wiping cache...
Formatting /cache...
mtd: not erasing bad block at 0x021e0000
mtd: not erasing bad block at 0x02260000
Cache wipe complete.
mtd: successfully wrote block at 0
I:Set boot command ""
Is there any way to get rid of these bad blocks of I simply have to live with them. I hope they won't spread.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Cheers,
DonBartal
