I'm in Italy, with H3G (Tre) network.
My device is a UK GalaxyS XEU with stock jpy 2.2.1, and i can't find Dungeon Defenders in the market...
Anyone with the same issue???
I have a UK Galaxy S and I bought it from the Market earlier this morning. Great game though doesn't run as well for me as people are making out. Either im too fussy or people are over exaggerating how well its running.

O2 informed me today that I'm entitled to an 'Advantage' upgrade. As I currently have the XDAII, I'm wondering if it is worth my while upgrading to the IIs or the IIi or just staying as I am. From the specifications on the O2 website, I can't see a whole lot of difference between then (except may be the addition of wireless access).
What does the group recommend?
wait for universal you'll sure see a difference with that
XDA II & XDA Exec
Thanks Rudegar,
I contacted O2.ie today and found out that while the XDA Exec is just out on the market in the UK, it's only in testing in the Irish Network presently. I hate feeling like I'm being fed BS but it seems to me that if the phone works in the UK it will work here! The techonolgy is the same. The parallel to that is that surely they wouldn't release a phone in the UK that couldn't roam?
Any suggestions for prodding the Irish O2?
Is there anyone in the UK on this list who has purchased (or is about to purchase) and XDA Exec? If so, would they mind enquiring off O2 UK whether they can roam in Ireland (as opposed to Northern Ireland) with their new phone? Better still, if they can get it in writing that their new phone will roam in Ireland then O2 IE haven't a leg to stand on.
Seamie
well maybe since it have utms/3g support they are testing that ?

I loved Cyprus -- when I was a kid toured around on a motorcycle. Anyway, there are different phones for different markets. The US t-mo phone will (of course) do data on t-mo but also, will work on at&t. It will also work on the more universal 2100 3G frequency for Europe and Asia.
If you buy the typical Euro phone, it does not have the 3G frequencies which work in the USA. On the other hand, any of the phones should connect w/o issue for text and voice.
Make sure, if he's buying on line, he does not get a version designed for some of the Arab language markets which do not have market.
Does anyone know if there are any hardware differences between a standard UK Galaxy tab p1000 and a US version.
I like the idea of buying a Sprint P1000 from US (they seem to be coming in quite a bit cheaper than UK bought model) and installing a UK ROM so that I can use it on UK mobile network, but I don't want to rush in and find out later that there is a major issue that would prevent it working in UK
Has anyone on the site maybe done this.
Any assistance/suggestions/experiences gratefully received
Thanks
Addition:
Can anyone say whether US phones will work on UK GSM networks? I'm sure that they do, so the same will be true for Galaxy Tab...just not sure enough to spend £200 ;-)
P1000
Wow! Hasn't anyone bought even a phone from US. I guess I'll just have to take a gamble.
I'll post if it all works OK .
hi there just loaded up my internet browser and it takes me straight to the voda page when iam out and about on3g (i havent bothered changing my homepage yet)
on this page there is a 2for1 game offer link
click it and it will take you to a gameloft offer where you can buy one get one free two games for 2.99 cant be bad
it worked for me
i reckon you must have a sgs2 with voda access points that takes you to their portal on internet load up
this is uk only / vodafone only / must use their 3g/wap access point to connect to internet so you get taken to their portal / i am running leomar2.6 and it still worked so handsets dont have to be branded just running the voda access point
hope this helps some fellow users
Try this offer too, available for UK users on any network,
All games are 99p but there is an option at the bottom of the Gameloft page for 'buy one get one free' at 99p per game. Two games for £1.98
Just click on the link below from your phones browser:

Enjoy
This phone interests me, Its on the Samsung UK site at £329 but thats all I can find in the UK. Its a UK model so obviously released in the UK yet no one is selling it anywhere, Its actually £100 cheaper than the A71. Even Sammobile has no firmare for it M515F which is the European version shows no firmware. Kinda weird, its like it exists yes but no one knows it exists apart from Samsung and its actually a bargain compared to A51 and A71
Let me know of you find it! I am also looking at this phone as an option but seems to be only available in Germany and in India. I am Colombia so not sure if it will ever go on sale here
