Just wondering if anyone has tried theming Swype now it is available for all?
I'm planning on making one with white buttons the same as on the MyTouch 4G...it's sexy.
Sounds great ...looking forward to seeing it

Heey I've been trying to find a nice theme, but I can't really find any I think Darky's theme (R64) is a bit too dark. I'm looking for a slick stylish theme. Something like Elegant Steel but I can't find a JPX compatible port for my SGS. Anybody knows some similar themes? Thanks in advance.
This is one of the best have tried on top of Darkys v6.0 now.Check if you like it.

Thats the 2 best ones i liked so far. Some i tried were to slaggy, other were not good under sun conditions etc...
Lol was just looking at that one. I think I'm going for the Galassia Thanks
Edit: I says I need to install root explorer.... However root explorer costs money. Not intending to spend anything on this. Is their an alternate way to install the theme?
Anyone?

I personally really love the BlueBread theme: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=883470
Contains the Extended Power Menu and (for me) is one of the most beautiful theme's. No strange, exorbitant icons in your notification bar (Like Galassia, LitePro etc).

Hmm I don't really like it. It's too dark. I like smooth, elegant themes Thanks anyways though
hey guys, Can someone help me change the color of the swype from grey and blue to black red and gray? I had a older version swype but the new updated swype is wayyyy better because the keys are bigger and overall just seem smoother.
Do a search on here for Metamorph swype bro.
I'll do you one better, just cuz I'm in a good mood since new years.

Hi all,
Back when I had my droid X, I used swiftkey which I loved. Someone themed it to look like Windows 7 and I fell in love even more. With my nexus, I decided to not use swiftkey for now, I think the stock ICS keyboard is pretty good, but has anyone themed it? I tried searching for themed keyboards, but (understandably) most are re-themed gingerbread keyboards.

There is a thread about themed Swype. It's the newest version and it does work. Several to choose from. I've been bugging the Swiftkey folks via Twitter and Facebook about turning their pumpkin orange theme into an ICS theme but they keep punking me off saying " theming is coming! " ... sheesh! It's a color change in the files used for the halloween theme. So I've been using the ICS themed Swype.

Actually, the Swiftkey's Neon theme is quite ICS-ish.
I like the Swiftkey Dark keyboard, but have to use stock until they have the voice input working like ICS. Don't like swiftkeys implementation since voice input in ICS is so much better.

Thanks, I guess I've been holding off on both swype and swiftkey to give this ICS keyboard a chance. I really like the voice features. I assume much like other apps, someone could create a WP7 theme for the stock ICS keyboard right? I wouldn't even know where to start, but I want to learn how...

My thoughts exactly, and to be honest while the dark keyboard is very good, it's still not WP7. I'm not sure what it is but I love their 2D implementation/design.
I was wondering if there was a way to get colored notification icons like the one's in Calkulin's. It's pretty neat in my opinion. Unfortunately I don't know how to do anything like look through .apk files or develop anything like that.. But I am most certainly willing to learn. Anyway, thanks!
