Anyone have experience of copilot v.6 or in a position to compare copilot to TomTom, especially for use with the Universal?
Thanks
Compatible Maps for TomTom v815
version 815.2096 is also compatible still not on the list
Is there an application like xGPS for WM6.1?
"xGPS is a free project aiming to bring a powerful and easy to use navigation software for the Apple iPhone© and iPod Touch©. It has powerful features like turn-by-turn directions, vocal instructions, offline maps support and even more. An utility called xGPS Manager is also offered to allow users to downlad maps on their computer and wirelessly upload them to their devices in a user-fashioned way. xGPS currently use Google Maps for the maps and the routing data. It means that it will work wherever there is Google Maps support."

Terracrosser uses offline google maps, but it has no navigation functionality. If you only want to see where you are and browse a map then its all you need.
Since the device and the ROM are out. Shouldn't we be getting some hot APK's heading our way?
There aren't any really...not on the stock ROM
Even the DLNA remote app "Conntected Devices" is a disappointment, Twonky (free server) and Remote Media (server and client) apps provide this much better. HTC Locations ("powered by Route66") online navigation is not replacing Gmaps either.
One can assume that if there were any interesting apps they would have made it to the Desire already
I would like HTC Locations on my Desire.
So it packs the exact same stuff as on our Desire...? Couldn't we like atleast get the improved media player with equalizers?

all the sence .apk's media player, wigets, camera ect arnt compatible with our version of sence anyway.....
All the new apps can be used on a Desire HD Rom port.
They are all HTC apps so require sensev2 frameworks to run anyway.
Damn... Too bad..

Twonky works for you? It keeps crashing on open when I try it.
Yes, Twonky works perfect for me on RCMixHD 0.7a SenseHD ROM. BTW with the next update of HTC Locations Tomtom will take over online map display, with routing (turn-by-turn navigation) offered as a premium feature, for Europe and Asia only. I guess the TT Android navigation app announced over a year ago will not materialise then.

i was holding out for TT for a good couple of months, then i got fed up and thought id try sygic... asides from being *slightly* less "im driving make it simple", i think overall its a better navigator.
only the ETAs are a bit retarded on sygic, TT always was pretty damn close. sygic doesnt allow for traffic or lights i dont think.
I would like Htc likes and HTC HUBS apk ported to us.

This has probably been posted before, but since i come from Serbia map coverage of most navigations is just main roads, only one that had full and latest maps is iGO and since the highest resolution that it supports is WVGA it cant work on ONE X...So is there any way to portt maps from iGO to lets say Sygic
