Hellloo, today my new Skullcandy fmj's came today (off ebay) because my old ones broke and the sound quality is horrible. It also looks dodgy compared to my old ones. What should i do?

Noise-isolating headphones?

I just got a 3.5mm headphone adapter for my Hermes, I'm going to install the SRS wow plugin and I'm quite excited. With an 8GB MicroSD card, it's quite an iPod.
Now, to finish the picture, I'd like to get a decent pair of noise-isolating earphones to use outside so I don't have to kill my ears and annoy people around me. No more than around £35 RRP (which means I'm hoping I can get it a bit cheaper than that online).
Any suggestions for great pairs to look at?
Appreciate any replies.
Thanks
i used skullcandy they make me feel young and hip

That's funny, I'm probably half your age p), and I'm actually after the more professional, "complicated and slightly-troubled artist" look. Yet suave. Oh and it must sound good too!
Will have to keep looking!
Creative EP630 very inexpensive and good quality
Thanks, I found the creative on amazon uk for £6.99! Worth getting just to try out, and can keep as a second pair if I want to upgrade later.
Cheers!
Etymotic ER-6 or ER-6i's.. they go on sale pretty often on amazon or buy.com. They work better than any active noise cancelling headphones I've used, and the sound is very natural.
shure e2c, e3c, e4c, e5c.... but id guess all but the e2c's will be out of your price range. i got my e2c's off ebay for about 35 quid inc postage. theyre the ebst headphones ive ever had. Sennheiser CX300's are also very good, and can be found for about a tenner from some ebay shops. Ive had 2 pairs of cx300's, but when the second pair got stolen, i upgraded to the e2c's and havent regretted it. Btw, rrp for the e2c is 79.99 and the cx300 is about 35 {every number mentioned is in pounds}

Yeah, Shure would be great but out of current pricerange. I got the Creative's as a quick cheap sale from Amazon.
Man, it exposes a lot of hiss!from my iPod, from my Hermes and from my laptop. Is there some high impedance cable you can get? Another thing, it seems to expose the (low) quality of (some of) my mp3s on my iPod! Looks like I'll have to rip ALL my CDs to 320kbps now. Or even aac lossless.

Vibrant Headphones

does anyone have any vibrant headphones (the ones that came in the box)? or any place where I can buy them?
I bought a replacement pair on eBay for cheap after I lost mine. Just search for samsung vibrant headphones oem.
This is what you want - the same headphones that came out of the box:

Maybe I misunderstand what you are asking, slikk, but wanting the same headphones that came with the phone means to seek out OEM Samsung headphones.
If a product being sold by a third party is stated as an OEM product, then it means the seller did not manufacture it (thereby being from the "Original Equipment Manufacturer"). So to get headphones manufactured by Samsung, thus being the same ones that came with the phone, you actually WANT an OEM Samsung product.
The ones I linked to are an OEM product, so they would be the same ones that came with the phone.
Are these the same as the ones that come with vibrant.
If so, whats the difference between the above headset and this one besides the price.

They are claiming OEM, but the picture doesn't match the stock headphones you get when you buy a vibrant. Maybe the photo they are using is wrong, or maybe they are made by Samsung and the seller misidentified them as t959...no idea.
I actually bought the ones I linked to because the left ear on mine went out, so I can vouch they are the same as what you get when you originally bought your phone.
Hope I've helped you out.
The ones from Deal Day link above are the ones that came stock in the box. I have ordered a pair as well. You can get them there for about $15 or from Samsung for $30. Up to you.

Just what I needed. I got my Vibrant off Craigslist so they didn't include any headphones. Replacements for less than $10? Win.. How is the quality on them though?
haven't recieved them yet. Expecting them in a day or so. I contacted the seller,he said they are OEM. I would expect the quality to be the same as the stock ones.
I never got the chance to use the stock headphones for the Vibrant. Ordered anyway.

I used stock ones..they were great. I havent used anything else so cant compare those with others.
The sound quality on these stock headphones is okay, but nothing spectacular. They are what you expect from a pair costing less than $20. They are quite nice for calls because it seems they are tuned for voice frequencies. For music, the low end rolls off much sooner as compared to higher quality headphones and are not as dynamic. This is the case compared to Woodees w/mic, Koss Porta Pros, UE TripleFi 10 and Grado 225i, all headphones in which I own at various price points. If you can get them for less than $10, I would say that is still a great value.
received the headset bought on ebay. I can confirm they are OEM manufactured by Samsung.
An alternative.
If you're interested in some mic'd headphones that are a good deal higher in quality without breaking the bank, MEElectronics's white CC51P in-ear monitors with microphone are on sale at Amazon for $50, down from the $80 range. I've used the non-mic'd version myself, and the sound quality nearly brought me to tears
If you google "176 review IEM", you'll find a treasure trove of information about in-ear buds, including pricing and value. MEElectronics is known for making excellent budget in-ear buds, with the CC51 and a151 being some of the best sub-100 ear buds on the market (according to the site, at least.)
The stock ones are quite decent actually. Esspcially with voodoo sound module
I use beats by dre however control talk doesnt work =(
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
I've never actually used the headphones that came with my Vibrant. Lol.
I had a pair of JLabs headphones, high quality, really durable, and $20.

Nice Speaker I just got from Amazon

I just got one of these today and am quite impressed with it has very good sound for the size and was only 18 bucks I added another small item to take advantage of the SS shipping.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004R26IYE/ref=pe_175190_21431760_cs_sce_dp_1
Thanks for the post! I've been looking for a decent small speaker to take with me during the week while I travel. I found it a little odd that they charge a different price for each color, like black was $17, red was $18 and the silver was $20. Whatever though hopefully they sound as good as everyone said in the feedback.
speakers
It would be great to find speakers for listening in the home. Any Ideas???

HTC M7 Red and Black Earbuds?

Hey Yall,
I seem to have lost the earbuds that came with my HTC One M7 today. I know this may sound crazy but these were the best earbuds I ever owned. They fit perfectly in my ear and they sounded great. I can't for the life of me find a place to buy these. Amazon is selling fakes and HTC's stereo buds on their website is temporarily out of stock.
Does anyone know where to buy these earbuds?
The ones that Amazon's selling are legit. Bought 2 pairs and will buy again when they will fail. Check that the seller is trustworthy, though.

Mine stopped working after 3 months....
I feel bad for saying I have two pairs of the headphones for my m7 and two beats pairs from my rezound... Well my wife and I have the same phone and she hates ear buds... So..... Lol yeah they are excellent headphones
Sent from my HTC6500LVW using XDA Free mobile app
You can find them on ebay for $7-8 ish. I ordered from a Korean seller, they're real.
A pair I got cheap on Ebay are noticeably different in sound quality.
The ones you get with the M7 are unbranded Beats ones. So you wont find them too cheap
ebay for sure
but i dont think they are good quality

How are these holding up? Still working well and no signs of "falling apart"?
I recently received a pair of UE700 from eBay, but the left earphone was much lower in volume than the right.. I received a refund, and have not been asked to return them (although I am waiting on a response from eBay to hear if they must be returned - in which case I will do so). I was hoping to see if I can't get them repaired at my own expense. But I do stay far away (and I won't be able to get them repaired in my country) and the cost (if they will even consider helping me) will probably make it not worth it at all (shipping it off..blah, blah, blah). So the UE700's are out of the picture. Can't find any good deals at the moment either.
My brother has the Triple.Fi 10's and they are quite awesome, but I like the UE900s more. I can get a used pair from Amazon for like $200 (still expensive, but possible), but I'm just not sure. I've read awful stories on the UE900 and it didn't sound like the UE900s faired very much better.
What can you tell me, is your experience still all good. Sound isn't an issue as they will be an upgrade for me none-the-less.

The problem with UE900 was due to their early production batch with non-gold plated connectors that were loosing a contact. They fixed it later with gold plated connector. I have no other complaints, these are solid performers, though I moved on to other IEMs. Actually my favorite ones right now are A83 hybrids and CKR10 dual-dynamics.
Well, I ended up getting the Dunu DN-1000 as well as the Dunu DN-2000 earphones.
Both very good. DN-2000 is a good improvement. The fit is a little funny, but you can play around with the different tips and spacers (and the fins) to get a good fit. Once you've got that you're golden.
Think I'm done with Ultimate Ears now.

Good choice! Those are excellent 3-way hybrids with a nice bass and bright/analytical upper mids/treble. Btw, DUNU is about ready to introduce DN-2000J version. It's going to be smaller and more compact in comparison to DN-2k. Not sure about sound sig, but I assume it will be tuned the same.
