Does anyone know where I can get an extended battery door cover. I know they sell the battery and cover on ebay, but I'm just looking for the cover. I want to mod a battery door cover with an LED keychain. I already took the LED keychain apart, but there isn't enough room to fit the LED, battery, and switch. I'm trying to make this case without modding phone (ruin warranty).
Thanks.

I just purchased the above extended batteries for myself and gf and realized that it only comes with one battery cover. Any of you guys have an extra one you are looking to sell? If not can any of you point me in the right direction. I definitely don't want to have to buy another battery in order to get the back cover.
If I get the Samsung Extended Battery and Cover for GSM Galaxy Nexus, can I use the standard battery with the extended battery cover?
I've seen some suggestions that it will work fine and some suggestions that the standard battery will be loose with the extended cover. I don't mind carrying a second battery, but carrying a second back cover would be a hassle.
I sometimes use the stock battery with the extended battery cover. I just added a piece of foam to the back of the battery. I don't use NFC so I can't say how it would impacted.

Did the stock battery rattle around without a piece of foam?
I also use the original battery as a spare one with the extended cover. I never used any foam or paper or any filler material to compensate the thickness and there were no issues. the NFC is working excellent also.
Do third party cases fit over the extended back?
I personally tested 2 cases, both with perfect fit:
The "TPU S-line" and the "Momax iCase Pro"
Last week I bought a Hyperion 4200 and their case suggested on Amazon.. The battery cover was peeling paint almost first thing. The case opening for the charger was not big enough for the charger opening. The plug's plastic couldn't go all the way to the phone itself. That area was so thin that I didn't risk trying to cut it down.
When I wrote to Amazon to ask how to contact the seller, Hyperion, I was given a refund. So, I have sent the battery/cover and case back.
I have looked around to see if anyone had this problem and could not see anyone mentioning this.
If I reorder the battery and case, I want a case that allows the plug to fit. If I reorder the battery I want a cover that won't fall apart.
It seems that the battery itself is the best. I'd like to see if anyone else has had the problem with the battery case and cover.
Never tried a Hyperion battery pack but it's worth mentioning, it is possible to get "Fakes" and "Knock offs" off Amazon.
Just plug the charger in, it wont break or anything. I tried it. Snaps right into charge.
I got the battery with the Honeycomb TPU case from Amazon. No issue as you described.
Hey all,
I got a back cover today(http://goo.gl/pJkxk) that fits with the stock battery. However, I've been having issues with battery life, so I'm looking into getting the official 2100 mAh extended battery, but I'm loathe to give up my shiny, Google-y case. Would there be any chance that the case would still clip on with the extended battery?
Thanks!
The stock battery cover won't fit with the extended battery (2100 mAh). The extended battery needs the extra room at the bottom where the stock cover tucks into the phone.
Edit: How does that cover look and feel? I've been debating on ordering it for quite a while, but I haven't been able to bring myself to order it haha.
I swear I have the stock cover with the 2100mah battery and the cover fits perfect. It's completely flush. I bought the phone used so maybe it isn't stock? I'll post pics tomorrow.
edit: what i thought was a duplicate battery cover that came with my phone is actually the standard cover... ive been using the extended cover and didnt even know it. the difference is so tiny, all i can see is a tiny spot where the stock one dips down, the extended one doesnt.
I just tried it with my standard battery cover and it did fit, but I wasn't comfortable with how the cover was bent from pressing against the battery. Technically it does fit, but I'm not sure if it would have any adverse effects on the phone. I suppose YMMV
My OEM cover fit with my Samsung 2100mah, it does "bulge" a bit, but it fits.
im going to buy the Anker 4400mAH battery kit for my white s3 as the stock battery only last for a day for me.
Currently i have this flip cover on my phone.
