Flavored Ice-Dark Cherry Theme Nexus One,too.

Updated to new CyanogenMod 6.1.1!
Enjoy
Let me know if I'm doing this right....
I use Theme Injector and choose Dark Cherry theme and then CM6.1.1 and output Themed_CM6.1.1.zip. I then apply the zip (without wiping) but nothing happens. The Themed_cm6.1.1.zip is actually 3 bytes smaller than the regular CM6.1.1.zip.
Is a wipe necessary, I dont want to lose my shortcuts and settings.
I know this programm, but I do it manually and sign all apk`s
again!
I didn`t wipe anything, but with only wipe cach or dalvik-cache
you don`t lose settings etc.!

"to do it manually" is that a lot of work? So do you simply just flash the Dark-Cherry.zip and voila?
Yes,it`s a little bit work!
And Yes again, just flashed the Dark-Cherry.zip and voila.
But as I said, with only wipe cache or dalvik-cache

You can try this,If you have problems with the theme.
I finally got it to work, had to play with the file structure, anyways...
If I use LauncherPro, can I change the color of the notification bar text. I can't seem to find it, will I have to use ADW settings?
Sometimes I decompile the "classes.dex file from services.jar
or xml files from framework.
There are the colors for Ongoing, clock, ticker, date etc.!
But at CyanogenMod ROM you can change colors via CyanogenMod from
settings menu
But this not working on Custom Sense Froyo ROM,this option isn`t available there.
It`s a CyanogenMod feature!

I tried flashing the theme after a wipe, but it said the file was bad and aborted the installation. I'm on a G2 and not a DZ, not sure if that's making a difference. Bummer cause it looks like a really sweet theme

I flashed it on a G2 and worked like a charm. I Used "One Click Theme Injector" and had to rezip the file- There should only be two folders in the zip, meta-inf and system. So i created a "system" folder and dragged the other 2 folders into it so only system and meta-inf are at the 'root', then rezip it up!
I tried extracting the zip in Astro, but it wouldn't work and nothing was extracted. My computer was stolen so I'm a bit limited at this point with what I can do.

Here my new Theme for CyanogenMod 6.1.1 Stable!
Many users like the new Gingerbread style so I created
this little Theme.
For notification color,clock color etc.use attached "xml.file".
Extract from zip file and copy to /sdcard/CMTheme) then sellect in CMSettings.
If "CMTheme" folder not exist, make a folder on your sdcard called CMTheme
put the "xml file" it in there.
GO to setting>CMSetting>User Interface>Tweak extras>Select a Theme.
Version 1.0
- Initial Release
Version v2.0
- Added 2 new Nexus S LiveWallpapers, but Microbes have little bugs
- Launcher support only Portrait mode
- Many backgrounds added
- Modified some images
Version v2.1
- Music apk themed
- Now with themed ADW Launcher and landscape support
- New Android market 2.2.6 (not 2.2.7) but better then nothing
I have no problems at the moment.
Hope you like it.

Maybe it works:

This is standart Phone.apk from CM7 ROM just slightly modified. So any other dialers and functions should work like before. Anyway I don't use QuickDial, so I cannot answer for sure.
Zip isnt compatible with new clockworkmod recovery...
So i copied over using root explorer... FC loop and a reboot later, it looks like an old dialer, nothing like the screenshot

Let us know how it goes. I tried using that kitchen and it would make the apk fine, but when I'd install it and apply it in theme manager, I would get an error box saying it's missing assetts and button options to apply anyway or bummer. I applied anyway and it works, but that error bugs me.

I tried it, and it sorta works (for now).. I didn't upload anything, I just selected CM7.0.2 ROM, and then let it generate.. I didn't use all the options in the kitchen.. but the battery icon worked (sometimes goes back to the theme's (Honeybread) battery icon for some reason).. the new boot animation worked.. but the status bar icons didn't change, they stayed the same .. and I noticed the systemUI didn't install when I flashed the .zip.. I went to the kitchens thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=990829) and a few (i only read two pages so far) said that most worked except for the status bar icons for the Honeybread theme.. I gotta read more, but the creator(s) of the kitchen was looking in to it.
I didn't fully understand how u can make it into a theme.. can u give me some steps on how to do that? thx.
Basically what this kitchen does is replaces the original CM7's framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk, there is also a option in the upload tab to upload a theme that you want to change. I haven't really used the kitchen for CM7, as I'm a MIUI user (easier to theme). But when I used CM6 and Sense Roms, everything worked fine. My guess is that you should try uploading the files YOU have along with your theme apk where it asks you to, and not use preuploaded ones. Seeing how you're using a theme apk for your phone, and when you chose CM7 preuploaded, it doesn't include the theme you're using.

I themed my Galaxy Nexus notification drawer widgets to match the blue in the rest of ICS instead of the default white. I had an Epic 4G visitor ask about doing this for their phone, so I built this Zipthemer file to help y'all out. I don't have an Epic 4G Touch so I couldn't test this out. If you try it let me know if it works, or what doesn't work.
There are two versions. The first one is all the icons changed except the wimax icon. V2 is where I took the wimax icon, tried to theme it to match the others, and used it to replace the LTE icons.

download zipthemer here
*How to use Zipthemer*
note: you may need a ROM of you have flashed (CM9) in order to configure your edify script (this is the script that tells CWM what to do when you run your update.zip file)
1. Install zipthemer!
2. Open up the menu (on ICS it's the 3 vertical dots) and click on update edify (you will only have to do this once)
3. Updating Edify screen (complete either Option 1 or Option 2)
- option 1: browse to the ROM you have on your phone and click it -- done
- option 2: click on download, then exit out of the screen, click options (3 dots), settings, update script format, select your phone. If your phone isn't present, see option 1.
4. Download the zipthemer file (.zip), and using a file explorer, move it to the "zipthemer" folder on your sd card.
5. open zipthemer again, click the "+theme" button, select the theme you want to apply (you can select more than one, or even only certain parts of one)
6. click "*output" button and pick the name you want for your update file (or accept the default). Leave the "-update.zip" at the end of the file name and "/sdcard/" at the beginning so it will be in your sdcard root directory and easier to find when you go to flash it.
7. click "build it!", it will ask you if you want to create a backup file, I usually do just in case so I don't have to re-flash the entire ROM to undo my changes if I want to.
8. Exit zipthemer, reboot to recovery, flash your new zip file, reboot system, enjoy!
more notes:
a. as always, it's a pretty good idea to run a nandroid anytime you play with your system (this is a do as I say, not as I do kinda statement)
b. A lot of these type of themes where some system files are modified or system apps are modified, it's good to do a wipe dalvik/cache
c. if you update your ROM to a new nightly/RC/stable, re-build the zipthemer file. It's likely that this isn't necessary, but unless you know just what the CM team changed it's probably a good idea.
cool thanks dude

Thanks, and
Good question, the background I used is actually cut from one of my favorite PS3 wallpapers.
-Someone would have to write an xml for it to display in landscape, I have seen it but cant find it now.(I believe it was a twrp for tablets) When I find it again I will try to port it for GN2's.
Sweet... that would be sweet if it was scrollable like the real xmb screen
Hey Twansky. What do you think I may be doing wrong? I downloaded the file to my pc. Plugged in phone navigated to phone memory found the TWRP folder which was completely empty, made a folder, named it theme and placed the downloaded file into the folder. File said ui.zip. Booted to recovery and nothing. Even hit the refresh theme or whatever it says in advanced options and no go. Thanks Twansky. Saw you were on so figured I would ask you even though your not the OP
Or Tiki if you're on and no whats going on would love to know. Thank you. Great work btw.
Well what I did was find the folder in my internal memory "TWRP" and inside that folder make a folder called "themes" then in that folder add the ui.zip, make sure to rename it to "ui.zip" if it isent already.. then reboot into recovery and bam.
