I read about 2.3 having solid blacks in a lot of places which will help conserve power when using the Super AMOLED screen.
Is there a stock build of dk28 that maybe just has the color schemes tweaked to be blacks instead of grays, like my background image etc. and really no other mods?
Or is there an app that can do what i want?

My theme has lots of black But a far as stock goes, you're best bet is to just flash the Gingerbread theme and use that. To my knowledge, there aren't any stock-ish themes that incorporate large quantities of black images

Guys and Gals
One of the things I like about the Touch HD is the Black case and buttons, I'm quite a minimalist at heart. I installed Max Manila to reduce the number of buttons and icons on the screen and have installed the Black Metal top line icons.
However in peoples opinion which is the best black and white theme? If you could include screenshots or a link to a thread I'd be grateful.

shame developement has been stopped. someone else has taken over the project and has made some changes but the original is my favourite. there arent really any problems with it in its current state
Sorry I should have been clearer, GTX is a really nice theme but it's too white. If there was an inverted version of it I would have been very close!!
what about just plain old manila 2/2.1 or even the stock version?
Suwu 10 has a blue theme in the theme thread that i consider to be the nicest theme i have personally ever seen. Take into account im colorblind and blue is the only color i can see that pops out and is vibrant to me. Even if your not colorblind this theme combined with this Super Amoled Plus screen is ***AMAZING***. Its called "MY BLUE SH! T". i know silly name but if you like a darker crisp, popping blue than this is your ticked to happyness. I just tested it for him and it works on EK02 and he has another version for older roms aswell. I tested it on Caulkins EK02 v2.0 rom. Enjoy it boys and girls!

Hey everyone. I know that you all have way to much on your hands already but I just wanted to throw something out there.
I am looking for a theme that is not very far from stock, actually it would be exactly like stock except instead of green colors everywhere, you would have a different color like blue. I would REALLY love one where the green was changed to purple or a purple/pink color but I would probably be the only one to use it so blue is ok.
Would this be a hard theme to make since not much is changing but the green color? I wish I knew how to do it. I am using the EK02 UnNamed ROM also and there aren't many theme options so maybe this could be one of the firsts.
You can try the ICS theme we have, some people have gotten it to work on UnNamed, some havent.
It's not that it's hard to change it all to pink, it is just very time consuming to change every single piece to pink. It could be something simple like just the battery & network Icons but going all out and changing the overscroll glow, dialer, and the framework etc. is a ton of work. Most of it requires working with .9 files which can't just be edited like a normal .png.
i think a red one would be awesome. blood blood blood.
i can imagine changing everything would be tedious. tracking things down in every menu, etc etc.
requires more patience than i probably have.

I made (edited) a theme chooser theme once for my motorola cliq on cyanogen and it was very time consuming and I had to work with a png9 editor and it did kinda suck...
If I could find a theme out there that was very close to stock....I would have no issues editing the icons myself and then sending it back to the owner for resigning or whatever needed to be done. I just can't find a theme that is close to stock LOL.

You would just download a stock rom and extract the images.
I'm looking for a VRTheme like the MIUI V4-Themes.
There are many great Themes for the SGS2 but they all have a dark background. I tested a few MIUI-Roms but was unhappy regarding to some specific issues in combination with my hardware. Car-Audio! But i was impressed by the possibilities of theming.
i have a white SGS2 and beside personal taste - in my opinion the light background with dark fonts is much better if you use the phone in a car. Less light reflections and so on.
So is there such a theme out there? I didn't find one.
Could it be a challenge for a pro-themer to make one?
I could offer help for testing and by donation...

I would like to try some stock-based ROM on the G3, but I just cannot stand white/bright spaces in stock-based roms. There is a so called "dark" theme for Fulmics, but I think calling dark a theme where 80% of screen is blinding white is a joke. Is there something else or do I have to stick to CM-based roms?

Did you find a dark theme? I am after one but can only see themes dark at the top with white everywhere else like you mentioned. I'm guessing it isn't as popular on this device as it has not got amoled screen which benefits from black themes but I much prefer dark UI.

Can I also ask, what is the camera like? The only reason I'm still on stock is because the stock camera is the best and couldn't get it to work on any other rom for some reason, the auto focus was terrible but tried this about a year ago so may be different now.
