Changing link color - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all,
I was recently diagnosed with a retina Dystrophy and really have no medical prescription for it, so blues and whites blend together (Google search page) and the second best thing for me is to change colors and I was wondering if there is anyway, flashing or app, that can allow me to change link color?
I've checked settings for dolphin skyfire and Google browser but no such setting exist.
Thank you for your help.

[Q] Nova screen fix?

My room mate and i both have evos, he has an epson panel and i have a nova, it never bothered me until today when i noticed exactly how distorted the colors were on the nova, i can easily see the pinkish/purple hue in it, both phones are rooted and 003 revisions, any way to somehow distort the color so it is accurate on the nova panel? or am i just better off with the nova? ive read many opinions on the nova vs the epson i really need a non biased opinion and a solution for the nova if there is one haha
I don't think there is any way to fix it. There is such a variation with these screens, even from one nova to the next. My first Evo was a nova, my second an epson, and my third and current one has a nova and is easily the best screen I've seen on an Evo. I compared it to my buddy's with a nova, and I saw in his screen the purplish hue that everyone talks about but mine is as black as night.
edit: I stand corrected.

That's exactly what I was gonna post. Install it-- it works great. No more purplish greys, and whites remain a bright white.
Or, if you have CM6 it comes pre-installed with the 3 calibrated settings pre-built-- just choose which one you like the best.
im using baked snack, as well when i try to change the settings it force closes, the .zip flashed just fine, any ideas?

don't install the "Sense" version. I am running Baked Snack 1.7, flashed the "Sense" version, then installed the controller app and got Force closing as soon as I tried sliding any of the sliders.
just flash the Universal .zip, don't need to reinstall the controller apk.
should be set to the "optimal" settings right as you restart!. which looks great to me, a little too warm for my taste, so I tweaked it.
fantastic find and thanx for the post!

Default Galaxy S font?

I've changed the system font on Galaxy S, and now I want to go back to default stock font, but I don't know how. I've changed the font using Absolute System app, and I'm running Rooted Froyo JPO. Does anyone know what's the name of the default font that comes with Samsung Galaxy S, have a download link or know how can I change back? I have tried factory reseting my phone but the default font is still rewritten.
I would really appreciate your help. Thanks.
Go to settings-display settings-font style (first option) and check default.
Hope that helps.
Arial? Just a guess.
I've got it. So the default font for the Galaxy S is DroidSans_Stock_Font, I've downloaded it and installed it using the same app I used to change the default font. Good thing to know, If you mess around with fonts that you can always restore it to the default.
Thanks everyone.
Hello,
When I send an email from the default exchange email client the received message on the recipient is Courier New.
My SGS is Froyo 2.2 JPO.
Is there any way to change this font type to Arial, 10 pt, and blue for sent items ?
Thanks.
font changer from the market .

Chose the thinnest & most different one, Samoled screens have a burning problem.

Themed Dialer/phone app for stock Sense ROM?

I have searched prior to posting and come up empty, but is there a themed(black glass-esque?) phone dialer that I could replace the white phone app and perhaps an inverted messaging and google talk app with white text on black background? I am rooted running stock with Lou's #8 Kernel if it matters. I had these on my original Droid but I can't find anything for the Incredible.
Any info would be appreciated, and thanks for taking the time to look!

Thank you for the response, and I am sorry I didn't find them, but I did search for a while prior to asking...apparently my search terms weren't good enough
Terms are key with searches, you'll pick up stuff from being on this site all day
(How do you think we all got this way anyway? )

[REQ]White Icons

I have been searching the forums for an icon pack that is just plain bright white and compatible with CM9 or AOKP(although I really don't know that compatibility is an issue with icons, maybe someone can correct me there) and am not finding anything.
I'm really not looking for anything too fancy, just basic icons that are a bright white instead of the stock icons, similar to what you see in the Black Infinitum theme menus. I'm not really looking for much, just standard apps (gmail, calendar, messaging, phone, play, contacts, email, camera, maps, navigation, calculator, browser, voice) and maybe a few others of the really popular apps (facebook, dropbox, scorecenter, etc...)
If anyone could point me to icons that would work I would appreciate it, if there are none if a dev could take it on I would also appreciate it very much.
Thanks!
Found these on XDA
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913747
and the link below has some, but I can't figure out where to download them from..

That second link is almost exactly what I'm looking for, but same as you I don't find a download link. Thanks for the links nonetheless!

You can buy droidicon on the market for $5. It has a number of icon packs available in a number of colors and styles. It was previously called launcher pro icons and docks and meant for lpp, but you can use them on any launcher that you can change icons on. You will have to edit them yourself though, you can't install them as a theme or pack. You download the icons one by one from a list. I use the white icons on it for aokp with nova launcher, pics for the doc and text for the nav bar, they look really good. I would post screenies but I'm running miui.us atm. Hope I could help tho.

I used that for awhile... some of the icons are pretty generic, but the custimazation options are limitless, which more than makes up for it...
I really like that! I am going to give it a shot.
[EDIT] So I installed it and REALLY like these icons. They are pretty run of the mill designwise, but I wasn't looking for anything too off the wall anyway. What a great find, thank you!

[Q] Hideous default blue theme

So guys, I took the plunge and got myself a brand new grey Note 2. Coming from a Gnex I couldn't be more happy. However, what's up with the abysmal blueish theme throughout (internet browser, menu headers, etc)? Is there a way to change it, without rooting that is? I nearly perfected the Note 2 using Nova and some apps, but this blue theme is killing me

No, I will not use another browser since stock is best/smoothest. It's not only about the browser. Also the dialer, settings menu (headers), etc. The blue color scheme overall really.

Well, that's touchwiz for ya... You can only flash a theme for your ROM, there should be another better solution soon (I hope) with the help of Xposed framework and XTheme, but for the time being we have no ported themes for this...
