[Glossy Themed Eclair(2.0.1]+[Android 2.1 with SENSE (beta).. NEW BUILD (08/04/2010)

First of all..I apologize for my bad english!!!
For all peoples who want to continue to test Android but without the poor native layout here you can test Glossy Themed Android!

Click on Home button, then select widget and then select analog clock, there you go, u have the clock on ur screen.

We have tried to build on v1.0, adding extensive theme changes, and apps to try to blend them in.
This has been a very ambitious undertaking, involving many late nights over the last 3 weeks.
Edint3000 and I have done everything we can to test this, but if you do have issues, please accept our apologies in advance, and let us know. We will try to get round to fixes asap (work permitting)

Installation Instructions
Please make sure you always back up your rom prior to flashing.
Download to your SD Card,
Use CWD recovery to flash from SD,
(Flash this AFTER custom Rom)
Reboot.... and ENJOY
*** Known issues ***
We have been having some issues on odd occasions using Darky 9.2
As far as we know the theme and apps are working fine,
However please post any issues, and we will let you know if we can help
Issues seen:-
Bootanimation does not flash
Shutdown animation partially flashes
Shutdown sound does not work (known issue with Darky 9.2)
Gingerbread Keyb will not overwrite rom installed GBKeyb. You will need to delete previous version this manually prior to flashing.
Some of the issues above were once we had moved from another rom using DR9.2 Resurrection. I then did a complete wipe, and installed DR9.2 Extreme.
Since then I have been ok, but we can’t guarantee what will happen.
Really sorry to be saying this, so please use at your own risk.
Will keep you posted if we find out anymore about them.
Having said that, I have this installed fine and working great on my phone… hence the screen shots.

The Problem is if you install the full theme with bootanimation.
If you want to change it later it will end in the loop.
If you have an animation in the media folder you have to delete this first.
After that you can paste a new animation.

LOL that made my day anyway nice theme I'm about to download since I'm on Darky9.2 extreme I will let you know if anything. Right now i got the v1 on darky9.2 works great

anyway i cant seem to install this theme, im selecting it in CWM and it completes but when the phone boots back up its the same boot animation and same theme as i was on before (steel blue 1.0 ) any one know why

Just finished, all work great, EXCELLENT THEME!!
Now what I have noticed...
1. Shutdown sound, yes not working..
2. I didn't like honeycomb bootanimation, tried to instal the other one which is with darky's logo, put it into system-media with root explorer after I renamed, didn't work, tried to instal it through cwm, didn't work, renamed again, entered it into media again, and....flashed the original zip through cwm also..it worked! Strange!!
3.question...the S that I see when I shutdown phone after the tv close animation is it part of the shutdown animation or its there from previews themes I had?
4. Gingerbread keyboard is coloured and works fine...I didn't erased previews one
5.I'm not sure if I like new purple colour in notification bar...I think I preferred the blue or the black one..
6.Is it possible when you have time, and if you want to change the epic lock screen with the classic little blue round lock? I liked it much more..
But after all above, its the best theme by far guys!

Hy guys, I love the look of new theme 2.0. very nice. Have bean using it today, here are a few glitches i found that you could sort it out.
1) I chose swype as text input. When i start to swype a first sugestion that is ofered is not visible.
2)I newer use Darkys gallery, its slow and has gradient bug, i chose samsung gallery but after instaling theme im back on Darkys gallery. Same thing with dialer, i flash 2 way voice recording over Darky theme and it was working perfectly, after flashing this theme a lost 2 way voce recording (rec button), Is it posible to flash it again on these theme?
3) There is some text on android lockscreen, when you start to swype to unlock it, the text is visible but its hard to read (unlock...), it looks ugly.
4) Im not shure about this but i dont think it shows the true signal strenght, i newer had more that 3/4 of signal and 2/4 wifi, now the signal and wifi strenght is full almost all the time.
5)As default bootup screen, maybe it would be better to put gingerbread with/without darky logo then honeycomb because darkys rom or this theme have nothing to do with honeycomb.
There are many reports around the net about blue color burn in (especial in notification bar), as your whole theme is based on blue do you think thers any danger??
This is just my report, nice work, keep it up, im sure this can become the fabulous theme.

second My friend have SGS from the very first day of it lunch back in 2010 he use it a lot and have a very red UI/theme/whatever and evrythink is ok I haven spot anything to be burned battery signal nothing.
Third thing SAMOLED screens have average life of 20'000 hours so c'mon(i read about this on a Polish tech site)
Anyway my point is this theme is fantastic Keep up the good work guys

As concern swype I lost my language (greek) so I downloaded again from the swype thread here in xda, the steal blue which has my language..I think its also more clear to read than swype here..better check it out guys...on next version please include this!

Does anybody know how can I delete a picture from gallery which is stuck there and it don't want to delete! I'm not sure but I think I met this problem before with another theme

Awesome theme. Notification bar does get laggy when receiving text messages and have to reboot the phone to make it smooth again. Other than that it's good.

4. Signal ti se poboljsao. slicice su vjerodostojne
5. sto se tice boot animacije ova se meni licno svidja.. ima cool efekat. Mozes promjeniti na bilo koju od onih rucno.

Blur edition of Elocity tegra2 based software ready.
If you don't know Blur, its wellknown from motorola models and has a different layer of a launcher using resizable gadgets and other features.
Another update, with the new compiled kernel adding support for native "move2SD" missing on A7.
So what is new here,
- Flash 10.2 works now (included)
- Native Apps2SD (move to sd in application settings)
- full int/ext sdcard support (external card is /mnt/sd-ext)
- HDMI -> dual screen Mediacenter in the works (photo for now works)
- G sensor fix included (games like SpeedX works)
What is not working:
- Bluetooth cannot be activated
- Camera

remember to unpack the zip file after download.. you find the real "Update.zip" inside zip file.
updates like other updates, put in root of sdcard and boot into recovery and install.. remember to WIPE/factory reset /data & /cache.

Nice! Flashed perfect! Weird seeing something other then the stock rom on my device. The main screen launcher looked a bit cheaper then the norm. Something that did stand out was the keyboard. I loved the look and feel of EloBlur's keyboard. Id love to see that moved to your mod. And im sure others would agree once they have seen it. Great work! You make havin this thing fun!!

the main screen (launcher) is not really cheap i think its a design, and remember you can resize widgets here which is a Blur feature..
but its different, yes.
coming from a 3.7" display where i had motoblur is really strange on 7"

if you have problems installing from Market, with bigger games like Samurai II, just unmount the sdcard, and games install fine.
if its from sdcard you install, then copy the apk to the internal storage first.
i know its bit complex, but it works

for now, just a few.. but also problems like some games download does not work as kernel has no real loopback device support (Froyo 2.2 native function)
but it has a fat browser, support sdcard/usb/internal storage management.
support re-sizable widgets?..
and some of the other Blur functions known from Blur devices..

The hype on this really seems to be the re-sizable widgets. Having never owned a blur device I really have no point of reference, but wouldn't running ADW Launcher really give the same effect without the unfortunate side effect of more stuff not working?
FYI: re-sizable widgets does happen to be one of my favorite features of ADW Launcher

i never tried adw, as my intial impression was not good, so i never used it again, don't know how it works today.
but i guess its somehow comparable but there are differences.. which makes blur a different product..

security warning in blur when trying to install app?
I installed blur but when I try to install app from sdcard or dropbox it wont let me. I get security message and when I press ok it drops me out of install. How do you get around this or allow installs from other sources?

a reboot solves it

a little update,
i tried to include the "ubuntu" partition for webtop and see if it worked , to run the hdmi based desktop solution, but its not working well.
seems the drivers for hdmi (nvrm pack) are recoded to work with the X environment, as i cannot get hdmi to show me anything.
but the idea seems good, would be great to have ubuntu running using X.. i will see if i can use their initial steps to use X in another way.

i finally got flashplayer 10.2 working on this edition as well.. and its using the patched 10.2 with hulu support..
ill post an update, when its ready..
still got "install 2 sdcard" isssues, as no kernel has the support for it.
but most does work.

coming from ics n all I can say is wow, the speed is mind blowing!! super stuff chef n thanks for the rom, I recently tried out the nokia lumia phones n wanted that simplicity n speed in my device too, ur rom does quite the job, only if we can get the animations too (greedy!!)
One thing that bothers me is the carrier name on the status bar, any way to get rid of it??

Is the rom to support Arabic? (RTL Fix)

Will update on the occasion to change the base to latest MIUI.. but as I support a lot of devices don't expect regular updates.

[MOD][ICS/JB][XPOSED] DitheredHoloBackground: no more color banding

Inspired by this, I've decided to write a simple Xposed plugin that replaces the default Holo Dark background with a dithered one. It means no more annoying color banding.
You need Xposed version 2.1 and up.

Try this one instead. It looks smoother.

I also noticed it's not so smooth, but I pushed moded apk with SIII Mini dithered back as it's smooth enough for me.

I'd love to see the module like that but with completely black holo background. This helps saving battery on AMOLED screens.

+1 - cannot install the repacked .apk either but would like to see the smoother .png.

This won't work on 4.3 ROMs anymore, since it's not an image.

Just installed this on a lollipop ROM. Does it work for lollipop?
