So the question is - does it have sense?

marketplace will work I think (put in UK location)
yes I think it makes sense ( all the features that are not working will work early next year )
but the most features are working now , so I see yes go get one .

it doesn't have HTC Sense (manila,sense,touchflo)
it has a HTC hup but it is only nice looking and it isn't usable.

No, wanting an iPhone port is probably the most anti android you can get. At least winmo is open source.
I'm sure Windows Phone 7 will be ported over if possible. the HTC HD7 has very similar hardware so I don't see how it would not be possible, but I'm not a rom developer so my words are meaningless.

usually it's more on getting drivers to work than anything else i believe.
i'd be interested in trying it out if it happens.
i ran XAndroid on my HTC Diamond. Was fun to dual boot WinMo and Android.

Yeah I'd definitely try it too. I'm not buying a WP7 until I try ti first for an extender period of time. Plus the main screen of the UI looks soooo boring to me. Well hopefully getting the drivers to work wont be too hard for these crazy developers here. And I had android on my Touch Pro

I have been reading that S2 users that upgraded to ICS can no longer use Sky Go.
Seems strange that it takes so long for apps on Android.
Anyone on ICS can't use it, which means Sky releasing it a month before ICS was released for the 'selected' handsets was an absolute waste of time
Can't believe no-one has managed to hack it. Good work Sky (to be fair)

I have the same issue
being classed as incompatible would generally mean that it doesnt work. so the apk wouldnt make any difference at all.
maybe worth emailing the dev and asking if they plan on releasing an update for the one x

Well loads of people have upgraded so on that side for most of us it's not a long run device. But for 5k which is €65 I think it's a great device and you should go for it. I don't know the Indian market but for €65 it's the best you could get in Europe.
