Any ideas if this will work on T-Mo Tab?

I know this is pretty new, but has anyone downloaded and/or installed this yet?
Will it work on T-Mob tab?
Thanks
Seeing as I posted it a whole 3 minutes before your post, I doubt anyone has it running yet
It is a European firmware for the unbranded "international" version of the Tab. No idea if those ROMs work on a T-Mobile Tab, but I'd sincerely doubt it.
Some expert will come and fish out all the details, repackage it, etc.
Here we go again, just charging my SGTab then will flash from JM6
Sent from my GT-P1000 using Tapatalk
I'm downloading it now. I repackage it into an "upgrade" and flash it onto my AT&T Tab first, as its not my primary anymore. IF that goes smooth, I'll flash it to my primary T-Mobile Tab.

Done, just the same with JM6, it will not auto reboot, just press power + volume up and csc will load and SGTab will reboot.
If i may add, no FCs after flashing from JM6.
Is it just me or Gallery now displays images correctly?

Ok, it looks good so far. I flashed over my JM6, no cache.rfs or dbdata.rfs, as I wanted to keep my system intact, so my *#1234#* shows csc and pda blank still, which is expected.
I've made a pre-rooted firmware file with no radio for those who want to upgrade.
http://files.deodexed.com/ModADroid-Galaxy-Tablet/T-Mobile/P1000-Roto-JMA.zip
and the modem is
http://files.deodexed.com/ModADroid-Galaxy-Tablet/T-Mobile/modem-JMA.zip
Theres a good possibility that upgrading from a Stock AT&T Tab may not go so well, so you'll want to flash the original firmware instead.

Any comments on the ROM itself ?

Yeah, this should work fine on a Euro tab. It really looks just like JM6 so far. I'm about to upgrade my primary device now (the T-Mobile Tab).
Edit: I just flashed the pre-rooted JMA I made to my T-Mobile tab running JM6 and all went smooth.

do we know any improvements over JM6.
Im currently using your jm6

Will this work on AT&T USA Tab Flashed with JJ4/JK5 directly or Do I have to flash to JM6 first. What about the modem for AT&T. Will JMA Modem as attached by rotohammer work?
I avoided flashing to JM6. Any update on improvements.

i just finish flashing it and used roto's rooted rom and all went smooth and as expected the csc and pda is blank as stated above. I don't see any changes nor improvement from JM6.
Swype width is still not fix.
Installed at&t sim voice works but still edge. I dont have a tmobile sim so i dont know if voice + data will work.

Hello Guys!
This is my Custom ROM for the Galaxy Tab!
Its based on the european Firmware JME but i did the following changes:
- System and Framework completely deodexed
- System and Framework completely zipaligned
- Added Root and BusyBox
- LauncherPro as default Launcher
- build.prop Tweaks
- App Widget Picker
- Removed Maps and gMail (u can reinstall from market) more space on /system for the extra Apps
Thanks to this, you have now much more RAM available, and it runs pretty fast!
u can find the update in the attached files section
UPDATES:
1.1 - CAMERA FINALLY FIXED
1.0.1 - fixed missing camera app
1.0 - Release
Coming in further Releases (my plan ) when my bootloader gets unlocked:
- overclocking
- kernel optimisations
- custom theme
- EXT4
- Gingerbread???
apply the update by putting the files in the folder "updateX.X" (X.X stands for the version number and u need to create it) and then run the script via terminal emulator or adb shell (sh /sdcard/update/xxx_update.sh) xxx is replaced by version or update name
Currently known Bugs:
- camera app is missing but u can use camera apps from android market - fixed in newest release
THIS DOESN'T CONTAIN THE SIGNED BOOTLOADERS, just like Rotohammer's releases
it only contains a signed zImage but, as u know, u can revert this
Install with Heimdall or Odin, recommended from a JMx Firmware (JJx and JKx havnt been tested yet but u can try)
I'll update this rom, whenever there are bugs, stability issues and wishes from you!
|Download (Heimdall)|
Great. Downloading now. Will flash tomorrow.
Sounds great. But why add the signed zimage at all. Is there a way to load this without the zimage?
Can you install it with ODIN ?
Do you need a full wipe ?

Sod Odin and Haimdall. Any chance of an update.zip for flashing in recovery, given that we now have a usable, stable recovery (chainfire's).

[ROM][ODIN]Odin One-Clicks(AT&T, ROGERS, TELUS, BELL, SASKTEL, TELCEL, KOODO, PCT)
This is a set of Odin One-Click Packages. If you're unfamiliar with these, it is the factory firmware loaded in a compacted version of odin and flashing is executed in a single click. No need to check boxes, or worry about what slots to load etc. Although these have been confirmed working, I do not own this version of the s3 so these have not been tested by me. They're packed in self-extracting 7z archives. They will not affect your flash count. Every device has a rooted version. Most have an unrooted version as well. If yours does not its because I damn near got carpel tunnel making these and my hands needed a break. Unrooted versions will be up soon.
Windows PC with Samsung Drivers installed is required.
Shouldn't be any problems but I am not responsible for any that may arise.

Hi everyone,
This is a simple (root) app I made to let you change your CSC on a number of firmwares across multiple Samsung devices. Simply push the button, and you will be sent to the list of CSC codes, where you can choose whatever CSC. Credits go to Perka, who thought of this and posted the method in this thread. I merely made an app to do it.
THIS WILL WIPE YOUR PHONE, LIKE PERFORMING A FACTORY RESET. MAKE BACKUPS OF WHATEVER YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOSE.
The files on your SD Card will not be touched.

It is the country code that specifies what country you're in. Sometimes, it also specifies a carrier.
It is mostly used by Samsung apps to determine whether or not you can, for example, download an app from their store.
I think, though I could very well be wrong.

Do you use a different recovery than stock or version 5.5.?
I use Philz recovery and I can't change csc. After some search I found 2 ways:
flash this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1684535 -> change csc -> flash your favorite recovery again
Or
Change the csc before flashing your favorite rom (extract rom zip and copy/replace the correct files; repack the rom folder to a zip) -> I don't have the suitable link right now, so please search in xda for the right way.

Oh well lol I'll keep this running I don't have it set up yet so I can't speak on battery life or performance (although I'm sure it will be similar to PF2) but as far as my signal goes there are no issues so I'll keep this installed. Thanks for the guide and for helping me out.
Edit: Oh, didn't know the U firmware let you straight up uninstall some of the Samsung crap, not just disable it. Also didn't realize that all the 3rd party bloat was Verizon's doing, not Samsungs I disable all that crap with Package Disabler Pro anyways, but still didn't realize how sh*tty Verizon is lol.

Try installing those two MS VC C++ packages, reboot and try again. I have them installed and did not experience that error. Works on my laptop and desktop.
I flashed the new U firmware and man my phone is back to normal. I want to root it but it was so sluggish with the root kernal even with the v15 fixes and all the tweaks I read here. Opening apps were taking 5 seconds, unlocking the phone was taking a few. It literally felt like I was running some crap $50 chinese phone lol. Also my battery was going down 10% every half and hour. Now with the fresh stock install no root no tweaks I've lost 3% in 1h and 33 minutes
What exactly are the benefits of doing this? Doesn't the U firmware have an unlocked boot loader, or something along those lines?

No unlocked bootloader, just 0 Verizon bloat to bog down the phone, so it tends to run much cleaner.
I'm currently on the latest build for OOS 11 on my converted TMO 9pro.
I saw the public beta testing build dropped earlier today. Of I flash that to my phone, can I then flash the TMobile modem to my phone to get cell signal again?

Im on the NA variant but using tmobile. I will say a few things about the 12(2) beta. It works realllllly fast...until it doesnt. Sometimes you'll get glitches and when closing an app and clicking something else too fast I notice its almost like the window didnt close all the way and it opens up the app I just closed. Other than that the speed is fantastic. I do not like the OneColor OS though.. I LOVED OxyOS and this stuff is kinda...meh. Overall its stable enough to use as a daily driver (my opinion) but I wish it retained more of the oxy OS looks

Thanks. I will just hold off for now, I don't want to risk anything.
Don't flash the modem. It bricks it on the beta.
So interesting thing. After unbricking back to EU I no longer need to flash the modem back onto the device? Still getting service no problem. (TMO)
