[Theme] *** Erebos (1.4)*** (JPX/U/Y/JS3/JS5/JS7/JS8)

Hey Guys,
Here is my new Theme called Erebos. I used pele's Black Android Theme as my Base.
There are so many good themes out there, but none of theme could make me really happy, so i decided to create my own theme. This is my first theme and my goal was it to make a really simple and elegant Theme like pele did. That's why you will not find many colours in it
So, what did i change?
- reworked Framework-res.apk
- reworked twframework.apk
- contacts.apk
- dialertabactivity.apk
- phone.apk
- mediaprovider.apk
- clockpackage.apk
- settings.apk
- black market
- black glass gingerbread keyboard
- Android Original Boot Animation

Please make sure, that u have a backup up before flashing my theme.

How to Install:
You need a deodexed Rom to install this theme !!!
Download the Zip file and put it on your internal SD Card
Reboot into Clockword Mod Recovery
Choose : install zip from SD Card -> Choose zip file

This theme is not working on JVK !!!
Unfortunately i sold my galaxy s yesterday so there's no gingerbread version of erebos coming. I'm really sry that i can't support this thread anymore. i'm changing to the optimus speed or galaxy s II when it's out and will port my theme to one of these devices then.

Just installed your theme on ZSJPJ deodexed rom. Working awesome. Been loving your work regedy1 since you launched your glass dialers.....truly lovely...

Can you please add some animations like pele did?
I tested this theme is awesome but when I tried to add fly in animation from black android theme, this theme turned to...black android theme with erebos dialer and contacts!

@tonysac it is easy to add transition animation to a theme....Here are the steps.
(1) download the theme
(2) download the transition animation here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=872567&highlight=flip+fly+transition+animation
(3) use 7zip or Winrar open the theme and navigate to /system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/anim and delete the /anim folder (winrar will then prompt you to save changes. Then open the tranistion animation zip file and copy the /anim folder into the above location and save it.
There you go....hope this helps (i do it everytime i switch to a new theme)

I tried to make it as most AOSP as possible and IMO I did quite well...
It is for JVS and will be updated everytime I find a suitable framework as base.

As i said it gets ROM version updates when SH ROM gets a new update.
ATM it's JVP so this is JVP too.
i did forget 5 icons in this v now..
will put up an updated framework.res (have to have flashed big pack first. if you already flashed big pack you dont need to flash again to update framework) soon.

As my sig suggests I am on Simply Honey (because I love the Honeycomb style) but it's good to know that I can get the same look even if I feel like switching ROMs in the future for some reason.

Love the look of this theme and I was wondering if this theme is compatible with Darkys 10.2EE JVQ?

doesnt work with jvr just tried with S.U.R.F.A.C.E rom

Nice theme, I like it.
However, the CPU load seems high, even in standby mode and no application running. Rarely goes under 10%.
And this is why probably the battery drains fast (about 20% in 6 hours).
This JVP theme gave me about 10% per day:

I first modified the systemui.apk to support transparency and then patched the files with ICS layouts 011 to support Transparent Status Bar Themes. First replace your original systemui.apk with the one provided below (replace manually, force reboot, change permissions to rw-r-r, reboot) and then do the layouts procedure. The files are uploaded on mediafire. You must be on the deodex version of this rom. Files were tested and work as it should be!!!! To be used only with vo-1's CM7.2 RC0 17/2/12 Deodex

Files were tested and work as it should be!!!!

The following patch is to be used only with vo-1's CM7.2 RC0 23/1/12 Deodex. The zip files were created with Achep's acPather4 and contain latest ICS Layouts 011. To use this you must not use any zipthemer or metamorph patches for your framework but it's ok if you use frameworkmod (the one with 30 volume steps). Do not replace your sytemui.apk with other versions like centrered clock and transparency otherwise you'll be having troubles.

I made it for my rom, it works perfectly and should work on yours if you have not altered your framework. I am not providing any screenshots either as they look exactly like the ones on Achep's ICS Layouts Original Thread. For any info or question refer to Achep's links.
NOTE: Layouts will work with other themes too, not only ICS Theme

Used center clock already by replacing sysUI.apk....... Tried flashing but SGA went to bootloop.... Lol

You stuck on a bootloop cause you probably
1. don't use vo-1's roms or a custom rom based on those
2. you do use one of the above but you are using metamorph or zipthemer patches
Patches work 100% guaranteed that!

How to install

*All the .apk can be installed simply from filemanager (the analog clock must not be moved to sd becuase it is a widget)
*the boot screen can be flashed
*The theme for the launcher can be aplied by downloading the online theme with the round icons (menu-theme-themes-online-first one) then copy the theme inculded in my .zip and replace the theme in /sd/qqlauncher/theme
*The font can be aplied by copying the fonts added in the .zip to /sd/.fontchanger and then aplied tru the app
*the wallpapers well..............DUH!
*The sound pack can also be flashed!
*The cm7 theme can be aplied via theme chooser

Yes except obviosly the theme for cm7 becuase stock does not have t-mobile theme chooser so you will have defult status bar and settings menu etc.

Have to wait until miui4 is stable enough for daily usage.

What launcher is it? There have been some MIUI-look-alikes arround, but they are all laggy/sluggish in my opinion.

Your right they are verrrrry slow this is qqlauncher modified to look like miui v4
it aint as fast as LP but aint slower than Stock Home
BTW:no force close

there is no softbutton in this rom, but overall so awesome:good:

you can get softbutton, dek dodit..
just take system.apk & cmparts.apk from jellybread v.2,5 and push it to system/app, change permission to rw-r-r-
or you can replace that file in zip then flash it via cwm

don't use word "dek" on my first name in xda, just only on whatsapp

so i installed this rom to my friends gt-i5510
all work but i cant see battery and signal and time above screen..
check attachment please..

I have a problem. Some very useful applications could not be installed. Google Play says something like my Android version is too low. Here is such an application : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.monthorin.rttraffic16
How come thes apps could not be installed to Jellybread while I could install them on Ajay's Cyanogenmod 7.2 ? here are the info of jelly brad and Ajay's CM 7.2 :
Also, I should add that this ROM works well, but wifi tethering is stilll as delicate as on ajay's CM 7.2, and I also experience random reboots.

Is there any installation instructions?
I pulled my old GT-i5510 to play a little bit.
Can someone guide me through?
