Hello,
I have Launcher Pro and I have started customizing it. I have search like 50+ pages looking for the little android icons i saw a few weeks ago.
I cant find the post ever since!
Its basically 5 Android's, one for Call, People, Draw, Browse and Texts
Any ideas or links?
Thanks for the friendly help!

Finally got mine a couple days ago. Taking *forever* to get these songs uploaded..

Lockscreen controls work on OMFGB for me. Haven't tried it on a Sense ROM.
Great app, been uploading songs since Tuesday I think. I have maybe 10% of my collection uploaded. Taking a very long time, but getting there. I got my invite on the 24th, only a few days after requesting it. Guess I was lucky.
I requested mine on day one and nothing yet. Typical Google as it took forever to get my invite to Voice too, like 6 months. Don't think this will beat Amazon Cloud Service which I've had for a couple months now. Took about 4 days to load 40 Mb (20 free 20 more for buying an album for $4.99) to that. The music on Amazon Cloud is physically stored there too which is nice.
I got my invite on the 26th requested it on day one. I don't have any lockscreen controls, but I believe thats cause I have a password, and when I wake the screen, it just goes to the password screen. I wish there was a way to enable lockscreen + password like on Sense ROMs.

Thanks to the 2 people that actually responded to my question instead of turning this into another of the 5000 threads that ALREADY have to do with the Google Music Cloud Beta.
Srsly, I ask a simple question and people ramble on about things that have absolutely nothing at all to do with my post. Next time try the search button people.

Wow what an A-Hole sorry didn't know that you owned this site and set all the rules next time maybe we all shouldn't respond to any of your posts.
And by the way the original topic was [Q][APP] Google Music 3.0.1 APK, which is wide open for discussion on anything related to the music app, you set the topic so don't get pissed when people don't respond to your exact question. Maybe you should learn how to properly set a topic first then ***** later.

I applaud you sir.
OP: MinimumWage or MyMomsMyRoomMate (i forgot your name) you really should've posted the question in the ROM page that you're on.
You may not have had your question answered but it was definitely helpful to read about everybody else's experience so far.

Actually, that was the Headline, the Topic was referred in the post, it blatantly asked about lockscreen controls not who was invited to the Google Cloud/Music Beta. There are dozens of posts that ARE about that, It's kinda hilarious how you tell me not to get pissed when you are the one who is raging in my post and you are doing it ironically due to the fact that topic WAS NOT about anything but the lockscreen. Thanks, you amused me

I love how you lack of intelligent retorts leaves you with the low quality unoriginal ad-hominem response tactics. I apologize you were so angry about my comment that you could not think hard enough to come up with something creative
Admins, before I get slammed, I would just like to point out that My last 2 responses were brought on because of angry individuals attacking me over the fact that I did not appreciate my thread being hijacked and thrown off subject when all I asked was if the lockscreen controls worked. My bad lol.
OK, I have a small offer for someone who can help me out. I need someone who knows about icons and changing theme, or someone who has a variety of icons already that can share with me. I am looking for someone who knows how to explain this and can help me change icons and yadda yadda.
Send me a PM if you can help me out and we will be communicating through gtalk. It will only be a small thing maybe on a weekend day where you can help. I would really appreciate it and will donate $10 for your help. Thanks.

On XDA, sometimes you come across a thread with dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of replies. Most normal humans don't have the time to read through such a large number of replies in order to find the most useful posts. Today, we're making it much easier for you to find the best replies that get buried within a thread. Introducing the Most-Thanked Widget. It lives in the sidebar (of the 2013 theme) and displays which posts have received the most amount of Thanks. It's divided into All-Time and Recent to help you find the most timely and useful posts. You can help make the Most-Thanked widget even better by being sure to use the Thanks button whenever you spot a useful post across the XDA Forums.
A few other details:
Right now, the Most-Thanked widget is only available for logged-in members as we tweak its performance. However, we'll soon be rolling it out to guests
The widget ignore post 1, because most people know that post 1 often contains the most useful information; we didn't want to be redundant
All members are limited to eight Thanks per day. Use your Thanks wisely!
The Most-Thanked widget is a work in progress! We'll be tweaking its logic over the coming weeks and months to make it as useful as possible. Thanks for your patience. Feel free to provide some feedback here
What a sexy idea.

^^ Glad to see I'm not the only one who's still on the 2010 theme then It's so much nicer and more user friendly IMO.
Great idea, brilliant for overcrowded threads. Could you add an "option" or tab to leave out the posts by the OP? Having the posts has both advantages and disadvantages, as the users tend to thank the OP a lot. On the other hand, the OP only posts updates, so not having their post in the tab would be bad. That's why you should add a choice, best for both Maybe just limit the no. of posts by OP to 1 or 2
Great idea. Thanks for this svetius.
I'm finding it a little bit laggy at the moment but I'd figure that's just because it's only just been implemented. It's not a major lag though

Yeah this is an awesome idea, but any way to integrate it into the XDA 2010 them for those of us who don't like the 2013 one?

I think they'll probably see how it goes for now and then think about implementing it to a previous version.

It's a cool idea and even nicer to see I'm in both all time top 5's of the ICS and JB version of the ROM I support
Only niggle for me is that it takes the place of the existing widget (messages/threads/forums) so you have to go back out of the thread to then see your subscribed threads again. I use this to navigate the threads I want to read as have links to all the forums I moderate so not too bothered about those. Would be cool to have a subscription (or whatever you want to call it) and thanks tab or something along those lines so you can then still have quick access to both when in a thread.
As for those still preferring the 2010 theme, once you're used to it the 2013 theme is so much nicer to use and I've never viewed the portal as much as I do now thanks to the 5 most recent posts always being shown on the sidebar. I love it!
great idea

i wish both widgets exist in that side bar.. as its not already full and we can have both with leftover space in right side panel..
sir.. great idea.. thanks for this.. as its new i know it might have bugs..
so it seems there is a bug.. if the posts shown dont have titles.. then the title if its there for above post in thanks widget is shown for the below one too.. which is kinda annoying.. as they might be totally unrelated posts.. also some posts shown in widget doesnt have appropriate link to the actual post when clicked..
also 1 suggestion: please provide the message, threads, forums widget inside threads too along with this widget.. it helps a lot..
thanks for the widget again..
Edit: oops.. sorry for second post.. i could have edit the above one. i forgot that i wrote.

It's a preference thing. I've used the 2013 and it's too busy for me, I like the cleaner brown with a portal button at the top left if I want to view portal stories (which I do daily) I can go there.
I don't ever see me moving to the 2013 theme and I really hope they integrate this most thanked post feature into the 2010 theme because it's a really useful feature.

First of all Welcome to XDA.. and great choice. Note 2 is amazing.
Start slow. If this is not your first android, then start with what apps you already had on your prior phone,
Go thru all the settings, some of them are very cool.
Try the motion sensor help and tutorials.
If this is your first android get used to the android world. Key is to not hurry. and you will learn and get used to things.

hello and welcome to xda !
first of all try read to learn about amazing android features (root, flashing, etc)
if you have any question, ther's Q&A section
and don't forget to search before asking because i bet that all your questions had been asked before :fingers-crossed:
Hi there and welcome. To add on to what the other guys said, the best way to go is to just look through all the menus and get familiar with where the various settings and options are and what they do.
Look up some blogs or posts that go over the basics of android and customisation. For example alternative home screens like apex launcher and Nova launcher are quite popular and really great if you want to make your home screen really stand out.
Also look into alternative keyboards if you find that the stock keuboard doesn't suit you to well. Keyboards like swift key and thumb keyboard are quite popular.
And as someone else already mentioned, going through the q&a section is a good way to learn about any issues and questions others have already asked.
Have fun

Just get used to it. Don't rush. I also bought this great gadget a few weeks ago. If you are an avid reader download Kindle, Kobo, Aldiko Premium, or UB Reader and enjoy thousands of books. Look which browser suits you best. Download Opera Mobile, truly great browser. Download Polaris Office from Samsung Apps or get Quickoffice Pro or Kingsoft Office from Google Play. Get app Note Everything, looks like a must have app.
Now that android is available for the nexus 4,5,7 (2012 & 2013),10 will someone please port it to the lte model? Thanks! I can't flash the 2013 build onto the lte model I assume, right?

I just saw this post. I googled it.
Was that supposed to help? Great mix, I listened to both tracks on grooveshark.
Did you make the build? I tried a whole bunch of strings on XDA, google, and a bunch of other Android-building sites. I can't find anything.
