I feel stupid asking but what are splash screens? I got my evo in Oct. and I've flashed ROMs and boot screens but not sure what a splash screen is.
Splash screen is the first screen that pops up when you turn on your phone. If I remember right the stock one just says hTc Evo 4G with a white background.

using k's rom 1.30b and the phone took a nifty spill. now i have severe screen alignment issues. plus when i turn off my device it does not shut the screen off completly. I can still see the time that was on the screen prior.
ok, so it gets worse. now when the phone boots up there is no display. the htc boot image doesn't show. its just a white screen.
Today my phone restart and in place of the white screen with HTC logo appear a black screen with the HTC logo white and in all 4 corner red triangle...Anyone had this problem? What happen? Hi, I locked up my phone and tried a soft reset and even tried a hard reset and it just stays at the white HTC screen with green HTC letter....does not go past that....any advise?
I can hear things happening, alerts..stuff like that...but the screen is still white with the HTC

finally booted after a long long time...but all is good. Dont know why it happened
I rooted for the very first time on thursday. I have had no problems since just now. My battery died and when I replaced it with a new one my phone wont turn on. all i can get to is the white "4g" screen. I tried holding down the volume key and powering up and i cant get anything but the white 4g screen. Can someone please help me fix this?
All of a sudden a violet splash appeared on my screen, I do not know why, did anyone experience this problem? should I replace the screen or what?
