I am looking for some help. I get far better performance on my Bluetooth car stereo with the MIUI rom over stock. I would prefer to run sense. Is there a way to pull the Bluetooth files from MIUI and push to sense?

I don't believe so just because if we could I'm sure everyone would be doing it by now

Okay, so if we can't get video out on aosp roms, can we get a sense rom with a proper bluetooth stack instead of the gimped one included by htc?

Not without a ton of work.

is it possible to add beats audio to a stock evo 4g rom? if so how?
If it's a stock ROOTED rom, I don't see why not. But you need to be rooted.
As for how to do it, read the few threads in the development and Apps section dealing with installing Beats
Beats does not work on any roms and beats is a sense 3.5 thing

U should try radience rc3 if you want a good ROM with good sound

Wouldn't we just need something to activate it or turn it on because the antrax kernal has beats built in
Right?

It's dependent on A LOT of different things then just the kernel and HTC music app. Also beats doesn't even fully work on the HTC evo4g

For beats to be 100% functional you also need a beats enabled audio processor as well as the software

You can also try RCMix Rom, the beats audio on that Rom is not that bad...
So I recently got a brand spanking new bluetooth earpeice thing. I want to use it to listen to music, videos, etc., but it only will let me do phone audio. Is there an option I am missing? Do I have to buy one of those expensive bluetooth headphones? Or does the Epic just not do it?
Btw, I am not rooted and don't plan to be anytime soon. Also the earpeice or whatever is bluetooth 2.0 (or whatever).
Any help is much appreciated and thanks in advance.

In Bluetooth settings click on your paired device and check the media box.

Then your headset doesn't support it... there are apps in the market that force the media audio to be through the headset though... can't remeber the name of it at the moment though

That bites. My cheapie Samsung headset from Newegg works great. Even comes with little stereo headphones to connect to it.

Hello Again,
I have been fighting with my S III to connect to my stereo in my car via Bluetooth, but they just don't seem to want to pair. My Nokia E71 did just fine with the stereo, so the problem has to be in the S III only.
Is there any way? An app perhaps?

I'm not sure what you mean by "what deck are you using". Is this something internal of the phone?

Keep in mind that this is my first droid and I'm still learning here.

I have an Alpine that didn't want to connect until I unpaired all other devices then rebooted my phone to clear them from the list. Then turned on Bluetooth before turning on the stereo. On phone I scan for devices and it found the stereo. After that it connects every time even after repairing the other devices.
Hope this is some help.

I can give that a try but I am starting to believe its the unit itself.
Went to walmart today and found 2 BT stereos on display. Another Pioneer and a JVC. The Pioneer, much like mine but slightly newer, did not connect but the JVC did however.
Those DEH Pioneer stereos were built primarily for Apple products, so I'm thinking that may be the case.

I bought a car mount for my phone and like the functionality of the HTC car app. Beats is OK but Im wondering if anyone has found another eq app that will work with the car app.
I've tried a few with no luck.
BTW I'm on 4.4.2 so I can't root yet, that would a solved my problem.
