One of the things I like about Myn's Rom is that the colors on his icons really pop and his backgrounds appear a bit smother. The overall feel is higher resolution and less pixelated - it has a 3d something about it.
This is not just the icons or backgrounds themselves as I have used the same with other roms and they appear quite flat by comparison.
So, the question is, is there an app where we can adjust the saturation and sharpness of our icons while also adjusting the smoothness or blur of the backgrounds? I have noticed that blurry backgrounds make the foreground icons appear more 3d.
So like a superamoled screen? You could Photoshop all of the icons; increase contrasts and such
A drop of Chuck Norris's semen was placed on the IPhone. We now have the Htc Evo.
CM6.1 nightlies with zendroid CFS kernel.

I seem to have a problem with replacing smaller icons in .apk files and getting them to display correctly.
for example i was trying to turn the power savings bar (quick shortcuts widget) blue instead of green. i can replace the colors in settings.apk/res/drawable-hdpi with no problem and it does change the color but i can't seem to keep the icon smooth.
using photoshop cs2 if i replace color and save with no other changes the icon is not nearly as crisp.
larger program icons are no problem and seem to look very good.
but smaller icons for the buttons such as the screen timeout icons end up slightly blurred compared to the original. this happens even if i select the blank areas first and invert and create a new layer.
im sure it's something stupid a setting ect. im missing but if anyone has an idea id be appreciative.
only seems to happen or be noticeable with the smaller 47 x 47 icons.
doesn't seem to happen on even the 48 x 48 icons or larger.
Hmmmmm seems i found a fix. its a little more work but creating my own larger icon and rescaling down to the smaller size seems to work quite well.
a little more work but at least i get the effect i wanted.
still would like to know if anyone has an ez way to just recolor an image.
Have been on MIUI for quite a while, and all that was required to fresh things up was to change the theme, but the Skin option in Sense doesn't seem to do much. The green is becoming dull rather quickly. Is there anything I can get to alter it up a bit? When I mean accent colors I mean the green you see on status bars, icon clicks, the volume slider and the like. Even an app where it is fully customizable to my own liking?

Has anyone else noticed that enabling enhanced colors from within the live display menu actually makes the colors washed down and dull? Now IMO that doesn't seems like a color enhancement to me. Every time I flash a LOS ROM I have to disable that feature because it really does make the display look awful in terms of color vibrancy.
I use the "Galactic Core Free" active wallpaper on my Pixel 2 XL:. The launcher is gradually shaded from mid to bottom of the display. It is cool how when you slide the app drawer up it continues making the shading darker. However, I would prefer to have the full screen visibility of the wallpaper. Does anyone know if that shading can be turned off.
Also, even though the wallpaper is very dark, the menus are not switching from light to dark.
Thanks for any insight.
I am wondering how to get more colour theme options when I set a new wallpaper, usually it gives me the same 4 or it may be a mix of a few depending on my wallpapers but I cannot seem to attain a white or grey theme as shown on the pixel 6 advertisement with white widgets and white app icons on grey backgrounds. Is there a way to get more options?
Also, sometimes when I slide down my notification panel it is completely white, and sometimes it is a blurred version of my background, why isn't this consistent?
It's limited to the small number of muted colour selections with no way to add more afaict.
The blurred pull down background is a bug triggered by adjusting the brightness slider.
