Here's the info from my USA/T-Mo phone which has been flawless, so far. I've had it since Nov. 5. This came from the "About phone" menu under settings. The Built number may be the important issue here.

Don't know is this is valid for US models though.
My US T-Mo phone, MSN: L026NU3LK2. So, apparently, Oct. 2010 as well? MSN = "mobile serial number." BTW, my phone does not have this issue.

I have the same phone & also need ROM. Have you found it ??. Tried with several ROMs but failed & now bricked (colored strips are coming).
I think need correct display driver (screen size - 4.75")

You must see the MCU version to see which is the brand of your HU. In the info from the MCU version you have xxxx_ name of the maker_Version.
With the maker's name you can look for the correct update image for your unit.
