Swpe - Droid Incredible Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Would someone so kindly post a link to the swpe apk?
Incredible

no, sign up for the beta and wait to get invited, you can't post links here...that would be considered pirated software and against forum rules.

Nobody can post you a link to the APK. It is against the rules.
If you want Swype, please sign up for the beta at swype[dot]com

Ok,thanks
Incredible

Just google: swype .apk

Please, for the love of all that's holy, read the rules.

Seriously, you can learn quite a bit from that one thread.
Much love brother

Either google it, pm someone about it, or use "slide it" from the market. No ones going to get banned over something so trivial. I don't believe these guys are being jerks, but the best thing to do is pour over the forum rules and they will keep you out of a mess. Just google it as it is good for anything you might want to know. IMHO

You can't download wireless tether from the market?
it's free in market
Just because you can make a new thread any time you have the smallest question or complaint doesn't mean that you have to.
Sorry dude, but you post like a bazillion threads for stuff that can easily be found by a quick search on Google or the forums. I also know that you posted a ton of threads whining about not being able to root, because I reported them.
Oh, and when someone helps you, you say thank you or hit the thanks button.

That is incorrect.

Wow. That's such an insightful post.
It's really quite shocking that out of approximately 4.5 million users that you'd think you're the only user here who thinks that this is "the greatest development forum".
May I make a suggestion?
Instead of jumping through random threads across XDA to tell people pointless stuff just to get up to 10 posts, you actually devote a bit of your time to reading threads such as :-
Forum Rules
Postcount limit in the developmental fora
Get the most out of XDA
XDA New User Guide
Now, you might be thinking that reading all of them might take quite a bit of time, and you're right. But it's either spend the time to read and follow what is said in those threads, or keep on doing what you are and quickly find that a moderator has deleted your posts because they're spamming.
The choice is yours
Oh, and please don't think that those threads were written for people like you just to ignore. That would be a really silly presumption to make and you'd quickly find out that those threads are in place to make this a much better place for all of us.
However, if you're struggling to think of how to get a legitimate 10 posts, then you should start off by answering peoples question in the General and Q&A sections for your device.
Much obliged

How can u say that when u can see all his posts containing "deleted blah blah" all over the general section? Every thread he opened told him to ask in Q&A thread and clearly he doesn't give a **** about rules.
There mate, and please next time use the Q and A.

Well he is new after all. Might take a while to get used to the forum and its rules, he may just be unfamiliar. Besides, he has only created about 6 threads so far, which really isnt that much.

As for you just post your question here next time. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000417 . If you have trouble searching for it in the moble app its the "stickies" tab. I wont always be able to vouch for your "noob"ness(to the forum) in future.

Well when I was new here, I never did this. I always tried to find a way to fix my problems on my own and if nothing turns up, i look for help.
My guess is this guy did not watch the noob video XDA wants him to watch so he learns the BASIC rules. The General Section CLEARLY has a stickied thread for ALL questions yet he seems to act like it does not exist. In all of my time here in XDA I have NEVER created thread just for this purpose.

I see.. but its no use arguing over such a trivial matter. Well lets see if he learns after this round, which i hope he does. If he doesnt, im afraid i would have to take back my words then, haha
I hope i havent offended any of you guys in one way or another in, dr01ne, xxmyselfxx, mo22i. I never would have intended it that way. just want to say that these new users may need some scolding or reminding for the rules to sink in, and that there isnt any need for all the "hope you get banned" stuff. Besides not everyone might be as resourceful as you
Well I hope he learns his lesson. If this keeps up, I will be forced to take action and inform the forum moderators for this matter. A temporary suspension (is such exists) or a permanent ban/deactivation are my courses of action. I will not tolerate this kind of behavior, to me it is insulting and also irritating to keep seeing threads like these all around the forums.

Really??? A mod posted here with a link rather then answering the question? When I mod and admin at other sites, we still answer questions to help the members out. Thanks for the link... ohhh btw, I am posting this from the web browser on my phone cause the app wont connect to the forum at all, let alone post pics or the search work!!!! Ill post in the link when I get home thanks for all your help!

It often helps to only post a link so that members will become more accustomed to searching the linked thread for their answer, rather than simply being given the answer which won't help you as much

I get where your coming from, but when you can see I am posting from the app, and everyone knows that the app has issues, like you can't search, or when you can search its screwy. If the mods dont know that there is an known issue with the app, and dont want to help fellow members, then they shouldn't be mods.
And yes, I am posting through my phone atm, but still cat upload. I just tried.

Your lucky he posted a link. As you should have searched first as per the rules you agreed to when you joined. This is not a support site but a development site.

can i present my android game here?

Hey, guys! My name is Ramzil.
Can I submit my game in some of these forums? Game for children about guessing and mixing colors. This is my first game I've done in about 5 months. I don't know how good it is. and would like to get some feedback from users. How do I do that, and is it even legal?

Thank you. But, I forbid any restriction to leave a link to my game. No one will ever copy text from a message and paste it into a browser just to watch my game.
I understand that I need to get 10 post on this forum to remove the restriction. Do I just have to go into somebody's thread on this forum something to ask or recommend?

Posting 10 useful posts is not that much. Just read fourms you're interested in, you will probably come across people needing help, you can also ask questions if you need in Q&A sections. Just be patient and then you can post anything that is allowed on xda by the forum rules.
