I have changed my LCD density many times, and have never had this issue. What ROM and keyboard are you using?
Hey... This thing makes phone calls too!

I have the exact same problem. Swype does properly scale to the changed DPI, however, SwiftKey, Android Keyboard (the default one from AOSP ROMs), HTC_IME, 8pen, and especially Full Keyboard do not scale properly.

You should be able to change they keyboard by pressing & holding on a text box, going to input method and changing it to the Android keyboard.
It's there on most roms.
Sometimes you have to select it in the keyboard settings as well though.

(Q) Can't save scenes?

So I just noticed that I am unable to save scenes on my phone anymore. It's not a huge deal since I don't really use them, but it's bugging me knowing that it's not working. I'm running redemptive 2.2 with Viva azul 1.1 and more mods than I can fit on this page. But it was working fine as of a week ago so I know it's neither the rom nor the theme. I've tried wiping data on rosie to no avail. So the question is, what controls scenes? I still have the standard ones listed, but my current one is unsaved. When I hit save I can type whatever I want and hit done on the keyboard, but then I get some kind of default wallpaper with a line through it instead of the losing box, and it just sits on that screen until I hit home or back, but it never saves.
I'm at a loss and don't know where to look for a fix for this. Any ideas?

That is the screen that I see when I hit done.

Have mine set on 200 from the default 240... Liking the results. Touchwiz looks like doo doo though. Adw seems to scale well as does the lockscreen and notifications widget.

nice
I was wondering if anyone jumped the gun and tried this. I loved it on epic and tried it as well on here. I used the same 192 i used before and its nice. i also had to switch to adw.
I'm going to try this as soon as I root.. how about the stock dialer and messaging app how do those look.. what are other downsides of this app?
Tapatalkin' it from my Epic Touch 3g
Didn't check the dialer lol. Worked well as far as I know . I have used the app on other phones before and had to reflash so it's at your own risk.

any ideas? Thanks in advance
EDIT: I was always in the 180 area and non of them work. I think 170 is perfect because no app is in a tablet view and the notifications are lined up.

I dont have much for suggestions besides these- some resolutions do work better than others. I believe 200 and 160 DPI are nice. I'm currently on AOKP Milestone 5 with the tablet mod and my DPI set to 128 and everything is lined up correctly

When I was having issues at 180 another user suggested I use 185. Worked like a charm for me.

Photoshop Touch

So I have absolutely no clue where the best place is to post this, with the forum being horrendously cluttered with sub categories.
Before Adobe had released Photoshop Touch for Phone I had downloaded a modded tablet version from a thread that presumably has since been locked/deleted. The original tablet app maintaned the original icon and button sizes, making it very cramped on my Note 2's screen. The modded version was fixed so that everything was in scale in relation to the resolution.
Maybe I'm stuck in my ways, but I far more prefer the tablet layout over the phone layout of Photoshop touch. I paid for the phone version as soon as it released to support, but now it would be great to be updated a bit. How could I go about changing this myself?
Here are screenshots of 1.3.0 mod and 1.5.0, respectively:
