Edit: Hey, I loved SamDroid a lot, too. Those early days of flashing, rooting, cm7, android 2.2/2.3 on Galaxy Spica were the greatest of my rooting life.. you know I still have Spica as it was my first phone. Samdroid was a cool place to go daily too and discuss stuff, you brought back old memories, man. haven't been to it since coming to XDA for SGS and now, GS2.
Anyway, once again, gr8 job. this ROM looks very cool! Thanks!

First, do a wipe factory reset !
After installation, the phone reboot itself. It makes a first start long enough depending on how many apps you have to check them all to prevent the Force Close. At the end, the phone reboot itself: IT IS NOT A BOOTLOOP!
By default, the ICS theme and the launcher are not applied. Select the launcher to set default via the Home button. For the theme, go to Theme Chooser and choose ICS theme by selecting "Apply Anyway". Then reboot the phone to accept the package icon and color.

I won't say it's negative but...WTP!(what's the point),anyone that wants to run on CM7 could be happy to...hey,let's say...run a CM7 based rom,no?(i love both miui and cyano thoughts).
Seiing the screenshot(and using this rom at this moment) i'm almost sure that anyone running on CM7 can achieve this look too ,i don't get it...

I think our friend barome has done a great work here! Custom ROM is this, build from a ROM something that we´d like to use,to have. CM7 is best custom to me, this 7.1 is just fast,no lags, just great and ics are so desired! barome just picked up the best of wich one and compile a great one!

This is not a ICS 4.0 rom, fyi...

I am also on jvt - had similar flashing problems as above.
The 3rd time I tried it progressed passed this error - but stopped when it was at the very end of the flash routine.
It got as far as the boot animation which then repeats (tried >20 mins).
Anyhow - downloading again to see if it makes a difference.

This helps to improve battery life:
​1º I always use it for WhatsApp 2G networks, mail, etc. spare me (and I polish the data rate in 2 days) which I do not care.
- Settings - Wireless - Mobile networks - (activated) Use only 2G networks.
2º Always sync manually Market, E-mail or contact (WhatsApp, messenger, etc does not care, are always active).
- Sync settings and accounts - (Off) Reference Data.
3° Off (default is active) GPS in the taskbar. (Where is the Bluetooth and Wifi.) Will make sure that security settings and location is only active Use wireless networks.
4º Inactive animations and screen brightness of the automatic.
5º I have the normal speed processor and 100Mhz minimum.
6º I use the Calibrator's Battery Market (following instructions) and the battery to 100%.
7° 7 th As governor I have or Luzlactive or Smartassv2 and SIO planner. (According to cell phone use and user).

Just installed, but I had to give up on the 14 toggles, whenever I install the zip the statusbar disappears I've cleared dalvik, factory reset, cleared cache.
None of it made a difference.. Any pointers?

Neither of both, but I've used binaries of both.

There are no PA settings included ...you can however move your statusbar to the bottom

I am on the road and will be (mostly) off for the weekend so I was in a hurry releasing this before the weekend ...
Next time I will release a ROM after I polished/cleaned/decorated/put some flowers and had a weekend off @ the 1st post
For now.. make a nand, flash the ROM and flash back nand if you don't like it..
Yes softkeys can be enabled from the settings

I would like to present New Experience Kitkat Special Edition ROM, a succesor to New Experience JellyBean Special Edition. I will port this ROM from Galaxy Mini CLICK. I do it for people who don't like CM10, and want to refresh interface to KitKat style. In addition to the port, I will add a few modifications to this ROM.
ROM works in 100% (? test need) If you find any error please tell me.
It's fast, stable and light and there you have 150mb of free space.
You can uninstall most of the applications that I added.

is there some bug in 1.4.5?yesterday i only installed 1.4.5 is it okay or should download 1.0.2 and 1.4.4?

1.4.5 is the lastest version and works pretty good.
All versions abrove 1.4.4 works in 100%.

i have some weird bug
wifi is working for a while
but when i turn off the screen about 1-3 hour
the wifi is disconnected it self
i also face this issue at cm7.2 ajay rom
anyone have the same problem with me

found the issue
just change the wifi sleep policy to never turned off

I plan to try this in near future, all others who have already tried this please share ur reviews and feedback.

ROM is great, thank you for the good job. But I would like to report a problem.
After a night when the phone is in suspend mode sometimes does not work backlight need to restart the phone. The alarm rings, but when you press the button. screen does not light up. you need restart phone.

Is the by any chance this ROM anywhere, so I can download it?

its been long time i have seen the post in callisto forum, bro jus pm dev. i dont have this device anymore. cm is good choice if u want to flash.
