Hello,
I'd like to know if it is possible to change the HOX camera firmware?
I am under JB and i believe that there is a problem with the focus. No way to take closed fotos, like bugs, spider or QR code.

If you aren't rooted, you can't make nothing...
If you are rooted, you can install mod for camera.
However, if you are stock, did you try an hard reset?

I tried it, i believe i had a probleme during the install, it came back under recovery very quickly, i believe i am odexed.
Happy for me i did a backup because the camera gave me a black screen and stop working.
I did a restore.
have the same issue, and sent the device to HTC, waiting for it to come back, i'll let you know what they did on it, but it look like a faulty camera hardware !.

Try the 4.2 camera patch, photosphere is amazing and the normal camera is way more natural then HTC one.

Psyko93, could you or anyone else help a total noob on the location of the 4.2 Camera Patch please? Where can I find it? Is it a zip that can be flashed?
For some reason, I have what looks like the normal 4.2 gallery on AOKP, but I don't have Photosphere.

I've tried it on stock 4.4.4. replace systemUI on priv-app. but when I tried to update gapps, it says invalid package. Guess I need to update the playstore also to v.5?

Did you change the apk permissions after you copied it?
Yes I did, the nav bar did changed but rest of the icons still using 4.4.4. oh well no luck for me.

haven't tried it yet, but if I am not mistaken after reading from other threads, some mods regarding L, it needs to update googe play store to v.5.
but the fault is on my side, since others didn't experiencing the same thing like me.

Hello I am running the S.E.A.L V4 ROM on my tab 3 7.0 I have a problem whith changing the lockscreen wallpaper. every time I try to change it there is no option to change it, I go into the wallpaper settings and nothing shows when select "lockscreen" same goes for when going to gallery and trying to set an image from there no option to set as lock screen only homescreen or contact photo any help would be apreciated also I just got this tab like a week ago so im kind of new to android but I seem to be getting the hang of it pretty fast also I am on The black hawk kernel thanks

Now some Roms don't support lock screen wallpaper
But there is a way to fix it
Now some things require touchwiz to boot up before any other launcher when u install a ROM
For example my ROMi made I used kK launcher as the default launcher so it didn't give me lock screen option
When I updated I used touchwiz first to see what happened and it worked
How to fix:
1. Install ROM
2. Choose touchwiz launcher before any other
3. Try to change lock screen through holding down the screen tell the wallpaper and widgets pops up
4. Change wallpaper choose home screen and lock screen
5. Change to desired launcher
6. Thank my post if it worked
Also doesn't always a work not all Roms support lock screen but I'm pretty sure seal ROM v4 does
AGAIN choose touchwiz first

Yeah it didn't work the Seal ROM doesn't come with Touchwiz launcher :/ Also i LOVE your NEON ROM i would use that instead of Seal rom but i cant figure out how to get clash of clans to work i download it and it just gets stuck loading and it never connects it works fine on any other rom though? If you could help me with that i would MUCH rather use your rom instead! Thanks

OK bro sorry that didn't work if u want u can un zip seal rom add it zip back up and see if the method works

Hey bro so I just downloaded clash of clans and its working i don't know if it was ur setting or what but on v4 beta 2 of my neon ROM clash of clans loads up

Hey bro well I don't know what to do cause it worked for me perfectly but try
1. Make sure ur time is right cause some games won't work when time isn't right
Other then that I'm sorry idk why it won't work for u I tried on my tablet and my friend Madison's tablet and it worked

Its okay thanks for your help anyway I tried the time and still no good but anyways I wanted to tell you about bluetooth on your rom it seems to connect to my gamepad fine but it wont work at all just wanted to let you know

Now those are problems that have been present sense they ported the ROM and @mkaymuzik said they my prob always be there but I will list them when I update it

Ok ok....but why are you trying this rom....this rom has bugs like lock screen and camera bug....
Another awesome rom u can try in ur Nokia XL is Minirom kitkat wannabe...i am using it....it has lockscreen bug but u can fix it by flashing kernel of Nokia XL...and u can fix camera by porting it...

Heloo i gt a problem with my lockscreen its not fitting im the screen proprly.. nd my device has bcm a bit slow aftr dat updting rom. Im using galxy fame gt-s6810p xxamd2 u wnt find dis model coz its manufactured in middle east may b i cnt send u the screenshot coz im not allowed ...

If its slow try to uninstall unused apps and disable system apps you don't use. Watchout which you disable. Also try wiping cache/dalvik-cache. Why aren't you allowed to send screenshot? If you mean that you can't send it to him like that then just post it as attachment. I don't have the device so I can't recreate it.

Maybe u try corsifame 1 or 2 (not kitkat themed) . I also have s6810pxxamd2 . and i'm not having any problems with these ROM
and use mods like pure-performance ,pure graphics this will help u a bit from lag.

I'm currently using Corsifame 1 (corsifame 2 is better , i just didnt use it becuz of some icon stuff) and . im using malive booster mod and viper4android(sound mod) and pure graphics.

And about lockscreen issue, i guess this may fix it. If u hav root explorer or any which can acess to root directory.....
go to System>build.prop and open it with text editor and see if lcd_density=160( generally this causes lock screen not fit in screen as i've encounter it) . see screenshot below..

hey thnks fr the suggestion...nd i wnt to ask u 1 more thing that does gl tool wrk on my mob .. nd how to do the system partition ... i went to recovery nd did system partition ...but nothing happend.. again the 1st page of recovery came . no procces nothing it showed .. nw i will do the partition so i can run gl tools to play games .

GL Tools works perfectly, no issue at all, and u dont need partition to use GL Tools . and its is bug in CWM about making partition i guess(i never tried though xD) , I'm using GL Tools on like every game to run even more smoothly
Just install Gl Tools>open it>enable ur mobile data>choose something(i fotgot the word)>and install>ur mobile will restart and u are fine to go

sorry about not fixing the issue coz im using wulsic's cm11. im very busy right now since i have many trainings required by my company but if i have time i'll look into it. oh and if you change the lcd density some samsung apps will force close so watch out.

Google play store and service (idk about others) dont FC if u change density i've already tried those . No i wont because 160 is default density in fame . Trainings are great btw Good Luck

I suggest not to change dpi because Phone app will crash every time you make a call because of the incall ui... Or with other words you won't be able to make or receive calls.. I tried every possible combination of dpi and didn't worked.. And another thing is that, in build.prop are 2 of the ro.sf.lcd_density like in the screens i attached. You can delete one of them or change the value on both, but if you change only in one, it won't change. Cheers!

8sms has emoji and looks better.. To use only this app enter Settings>Applications>All, search for Messages and disable it, or else you will get notifications from both apps when you will receive a message. Cheers!

dude... but dats fr messaging. im trying to tell dt like whn some1 send me emoji on whts app the notification appears. but it dsnt show the emoji on notification panel. same like on insta i cant see the emojis.

I'm afraid there isn't a sollution for this.. Emoji support in notifications panel has been implemented only since Kitkat.. On jellybean you can see emoticons only in apps..
