External Speakers ?

I was wondering if it was possible to hook up speakers to the galaxy tab.
This is what I would like to do.
Dock the galaxy tab on the wall and use it to play music. which will be played using wired speakers in the kitchen or something like that.
is this possible?
thanks in advance.
Have you thought of using Bluetooth or are you looking for premium sound quality?

Speakers like an audio system? Or just 2 cheap speakers for pc?
I will be getting the Denon AVR3312CI which a multiroom system. I would like to use my tab to play the music from my tab to the speakers.
Or atleast connect to 2 speakers in my kitchen or outside.

The only in-line device on earphones that will not work with Android devices is volume up-down buttons but single button(play, pause, skip, etc..) and mic will work.
If your going to buy a higher quality set of earphones I would also recommend buying power amp and adjusting the EQ however you like it, it really makes your music better

Does anyone have trouble with the headphone jack being hypersensitive?

Literally the most annoying thing in the world - whenever I put my phone in my pocket, it'll usually unplug for a second, pause my music, change the media volume, then replay my music. This happens with all of my headphones, with my AUX cable, even with the headset blocker app.
Basixally the headphone jack is extremely sensitive. Is this just me? Is my phone defective?

Sounds like a hardware defect, grounds for replacement.

Do you have any kind of sound manager such as DSP manager/Beats/VooDoo?
Been happening to me too im thinking its because I have walkman app and regular samsung music player. If you have 2 music players try deleting one and see if that helps. Im on jedi rom btw.

Nope, but I'm using the PowerAmp EQ if that counts for anything.

So you just want the left side to work? If so then any app equalizer or on cm10 they have dps that might help you
Or just get a knife and cut the other headphone off

do you want to change the headphones from stereo to mono to stop music from fading left and right? (Thus missing part of the music.)
A non android solution would be to get headphones that have a stereo/mono button/slider.
