change icons Android 2.2 HTC sense - Desire General

Hi there.
I managed to have custom icons on my HTC sense homescreen using FolderOrganizer. Now I want to change all icons in the menu that appears when pressing the littler arrow in the circle on the left bottom. The menu is named "all apps" (translated from german). Is there an (easy) way? I googled but found only howtos for the homescreen.

Come on...
Somebody must have a detailed howto.
I hate pushing.

No easy way to do that and keep sense ui

What a pity.

HTC Logo for Start Icon

Hey buys. First post. Love the forum. I have been searching for a SIMPLE way to change my start icon to the HTC logo. I have installed the HTC only cab but it also changed the icon for multiple notifications on my existing taskbar. I am running the stock sprint rom. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx
The Start menu icon is part of the taskbar. So unless you know how to modify specific files for just the Start menu icon, you're stuck with using taskbar packages made by our valuable XDA users.
Have a look at this one. It's pretty good to me at least.

Is it possible to change the menu screen background ?

Hello all- I have been searching for an app that would allow me to change the wallpaper/background on the page with the menu icons on it.
It seems that the colour can be changed while using ADW but I do like LauncherPro, and would simply like to customise the background screen beyond the homescreen,
Does anyone know if this is possible ?
Thanks very much for any help, LL
I'm not sure, I'm still pretty new to Android. But there were one times when my I9000 crashes when I first upgrade to Froyo 2.2, my menu screen background did change to my homescreen wallpaper. It's probably juz becoz of the things going wrong in the system, but I do think that is possible. I juz dunno how

[Q] how to edit bottom bar

Hiho!
I hope this question isn't allready answered, but I unfortenately think it is. My searches all didn't serve the answer I'm looking for.
I'm just trying to change the appearence of the bottom bar of my HTC Desire. I'm using VillainROM 1.0 and I allready made it to change the statusbar with editing the framework-res.apk but I didn't find any PNGs to edit the bottom bar.
Is there any tutorial or something that tells me how to change the apperance of the bottom bar? I think I'd also have to edit the "touch area" for fitting to the new bottom bar buttons.
Please excuse my bad english and noobig questions.
greetings, oOzzy
Honestly, I don't think there is a way (through editing files). Sense will remain sense, and launcher2 will remain launcher 2.
Although you can try a new homescreen/launcher.
Your best bet will be checking out ADW Launcher, Launcher Pro or Zeam launcher. But with some googling, I'm sure you can find more.
I'm currently using Launcher Pro

[Q] How can I edit especific part of sense skin?

hi, I'm new here
I was searching how to make my own custom skins for HTC sense 3.5
I tried to modify the res .Png of system/HTCweatherwidget.apk weather.apk and also framework/com.HTc.resources.apk
but I couldn't find those parts (attachment)
where can U find the back of the weather skin, also calendar and the main sense bar?
and how can I change the background of the menu "all apps"?
I only find the lockscreen and common icons from com.htc.resources and system/apk only appears the buttons of the
main sense bar (all apps button, phone button and customize)

Android Oreo 8.0 - Icons background

If you upgraded to Android Oreo 8.0 I am sure you noticed the new icon shape and the annoying background.
I read that on other phones (Samsung and Pixel) there is an option to turn the background off but I couldn't find it anywhere in the settings...
Anyone knows how to do it?
Also i look a way to turn to old icons
you can change icons in themes....its easy !! htc theme have more than many milion icons themes or background....
but not change all sistem icon...
The icons look decent to me ( facebook needs some work ), the Settings menu structure and visuals and the changes in the battery menu ( previously Power ) annoy me a little bit.
"I read that on other phones (Samsung and Pixel) there is an option to turn the background off" >>>>>>This is the adaptive icon feature of Android 8.0, not something "turn off the background" but each app must have all kinds of app icons (round, rounded square, square, etc.) in the APK, so that the launcher could pull the needed icon out and show. That's how adaptive icon feature works.
However, the case you described here, is just a set of icon pack made by HTC as default. What you need is just another set of icon pack which you can download for free in HTC Theme app.
HTC needs to stop making their home launcher so rigid. let us change things we would like to on a Nexus or Pixel
install lawnchair it has the option to choose whatever background it's free and it is the best launcher I used hands down

So, here's the solution: install the icon pack here released by HTC today: https://themes.htc.com/actions/them...5d60d?by=09abf6dd-1d5a-4cc9-b11c-d474867eec70
@Alpert3 Thanks, that helped partially...
For some reason, only some of the Google icons are still with the round grey shadow.
For example: Drive, Chrome, Photos, Gmail, Calendar, Play Store, Fit...
Can you add a screenshot?
I assume it's the the default round icon of Google apps.

Yep, confirmed, it's the adaptive icon from Google.

What link not showing up in XDA labs
@6th_Hokage ??
I made a customized theme, using all rounded icons, I tried to keep all icons as close to stock style as possible. You can download here: https://themes.htc.com/actions/them...a3?token=dbf74135-da27-4d8a-99d7-0e9b1a5eb425
For some reasons it was refused by HTC to publish, not sure why.
If you like my theme with all other stuffs, then keep it; if not, you can choose another theme you like then add choose the icons from my theme.
I can't download any theme from HTC Themes... it shows me an error after 5-10 min it said Impossible to download XX theme. I've cleared data of Sense, reinstall Personalize apk, i've also delete my HTC account sync and reenter my account... I don't know what do to... can someone help me??? Thx
Wrong topic...go post in general Q&A
Ok sorry
