I have a question concerning google search funcionality on htc desire with stock rom and custom rom. On stock rom I could choose in google search to include email and sms (google search setting / searchable items). But on MIUIMOD ROM ( RoDrIgUeZsTyLe) and CyanogenMOD 6 (Nightly) I can not find email and sms to be included in searchable items. Is this related with the fact that on stock ROM, HTC sms and email aplications are acctualy included in searchable items and google's stock mail, gmail and sms applications can not be included in google search.
Also, can someone recomend search application which has the funcionality I'm looking for.

I've installed the Runnymede AIO 5.1.1. After installation, the contact search option doesn't seem to work.
What happens is, when I start an SMS, and start typing the name of the contact, there is no suggestions list being build. It just doesn't appear. Also when I search my contacts in the contacts app, it doesn't narrow the search while typing. It just stays in the initial view.
I've searched the forum for a solution: they say that it was a problem from version 5.1 with the libsqlite.so file. But I've installed v5.1.1 where in the change log it states that the libsqlite.so is replaced...
Does anybody have a clue on what this problem could be?

I have a question, now i have my contacts on gmail, and then i synced them to my HTC android device, after that I added new phone number and contacts on the google account from the DEVICE, but i still didnt sync ,... so the question is , when i will " sync contacts " , which contacts lists will overwrite the other ??? I mean will the gmail account deletes the newly added contacts on the device and replaces with the old list ???? or the opposite, as that the added contacts on the google account from the DEVICE will transfer to the gmail account ??? .. Do they merge ?? or there is a list that overwrites the other ??

After updating to stock android lollipop, I am not able to create SIP accounts in stock dialer. It is possible to access SIP settings however accounts do not save and disapear after dialer is closed. Does anyone have this problem? Maybe there is a workaround?

Download "Contacts" app by Google and add a new contact with that app. You will be fine.
