I am using Radio v1.09.25.23 for a few weeks now.
Looks stable but can´t say is better than the one I used b4 (Radio v1.00.25.05).
Link to Download: Radio - 1.09.25.23
Is this a oficial version? (yes)
Who is using it and why?
I never heard that version of radio, maybe it's hexed!
I was told it's an official radio.
I don't know how it was first leaked to us, but it was released later in the official south-african 2.0 beta from HTC.
I've been using it for about a month, because it's the best compromise I've found between battery life and performance.
(I used almost all previous radio and was every time disapointed either by the perfs, or the battery life, or sometimes by both! )
It's old radio, relased one month ago http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432770
Have been using 1.09.25.23 for a month now and its given me better battery life and quicker GPS fix than 1.00.25.05.

Yep, U are right "Diamond Radio Thread [Updated 12.12.2008 - new:1.08.25.20(Original Diamond radio)]" is mentioning this radio, like all the others.
Between 800 replies I don´t know if someone likes this specific radio and if they really use it for some specific reason.
...so that´s why this post.

And by the way....no single RADIO is perfect.....everybody has got a different opinion about 'Their' Radio....just flash multiple to see which one suits you the most......so there would be no need for you to open a new Thread about just 1 radio???
Thanxx mate..

Thank you for the helpful reply... I'm sure it will satisfy a lot of those searching the forum thinking of asking the same question.
To OP: they are quite close, and you really need to try both and decide for yourself sorry. It is very easy, just make a nandroid of your current rom and install one. Use it for a couple of days and then install the other.
I can only tell you that my personal preference is oxygen and if you are only looking at the lightest rom you might as well try out dev-null(it's very lightweight, but lacks all of the extra features from oxygen and the others)
Haha epic video

It's not really my problem when you get disappointed in posts which inter alia tells you to use the search.
Anyway, I finally tested both and Redux has a much better battery life. At least on my device. In case it helps someone to decide ...
hahahaha i agree with reaper... epic video.
to the OP from my own i would say LeeDroid GB307 data++
I've been noticing a lot of ROM's not updating. And recently the ICS port from the RCMix Sensation has been stopped and closed. Is their still hope, or is it time to upgrade to a newer phone.
Not sure what you consider alot, but I.just glanced in the Dev section and quite a few have had updates of within the past two weeks(I counted 10 +). That seems pretty active to me
Plus just because a rom hasn't been updated recently doesn't mean its not being worked on

Not updating doesnt mean that they (devs) are not working anymore, It means that their ROM doesnt have any bugs or problems and is stable and doesnt require any changes.
Thats what most of the ROM devs will say.
Hmmm a question thread that was not posted in the Q&A forum?
Ill move it this time
You'd consider buying a new phone just because (some) threads on a forum aren't experiencing a massive amount of traffic in a holiday period?
*facepalm*
Not considered a question because it also what you think.. is it dying or not.

It only dies if people allow it. It has become far to common that people wait for others do it instead of learning to do it themselfs. If you want something cool and new dig in and make something new. That is the point of a development forum to help others learn and share tips. Developers are not special. They just have the drive to make their device theirs.
I had another read of the op, like the ics sense is coming back, I've been working on it and other things, in a way dhd is dying and in a way it isnt if that makes sense, alot of new devices gets released n when that happens everyone usually wants something new and cool, devs want to develop on a newer phone see what it can handle performance wise etc
If I'm still here when sense 4.0 drops then yeah I'll most likely be bringing it to DHD first (as thats the phone I have)
Yea i totally agree with what you are saying zelendel

patience friends as you may see surprises in the dhd threads and i know there is some poor people who cant afford a new phone as a matter of fact there is a lot of devs working hardly not to mention that there is a whole new devices who attrack people more from our beloved dhd we have a great team working like the CM team some dev did abondan us maybe but there is others coming and in a large choice of phones u wont expect regular updates this is not iphone this is android everyday new phones are released not to mention how hard a dev work could be and evantually the updates includes updates off apps so it sounds unecessary but we here are brothers and we can work together and most important is to wait you will never know whats comming regards my friends

hi to everyone,
i'm not new to XDA (i'm nexus s user), but i'm new to desire section
my friend need to upgrade his desire to gingerbread 2.3, possibly with Sense UI
like you know, this is possible only with a custom ROM. so the question is:
Which ROM (possibly with Sense) is the best today (11-04-12) ???
imho best is:
1-stable
2-without bugs
3-fast
thanks

you could try some coolexe bravo s roms (desire s roms) , these are sense 2.1 roms with gingerbread ... i find the desire doesnt handle the newer versions of sense well but thats what i think
This really is becoming ridiculous.

The reason you are getting all these insults is because you say that you are not new to xda yet you act like you are. It's not that you posted on the wrong section, it's because you asked a very common question that could have been answered by you doing a search query.
Or you could just say in one sentence which you think is the best sense rom. Jeezzz i dont understand why you take the effort to complain but cant answer a simple question.
In my opinion, cooldroid v3 is the best sense rom for the htc desire. Its a sens 2.1 based rom, which makes it very fast
yes, specify what stable mean perhaps is too much, but the main reason because i ask you is that with google and search function i've found only old information ......
if my previous question make your brain loop, just tell me which ROM are you using ..... ok ?

your question it's like "what's the best color?", we can't answer this, just try some roms and find it urself, in my opinion, all sense roms are stable, 3.5 doesn't match too fine as we want, but's usable anyway... ginger + 2.1 it's more fastest but idk...

development is still pretty active, despite the desire being the best part of 2 years old, so many of the roms there fulfill all your requirements, therefore in your honest opinion, nearly all are the best
even if you get many more replies from other users about what ROM they are using, it's only from users who can be bothered to post here, whereas most post in the rom threads themselves. experiences are often conflicting. one user's experience (AMAZING) with a rom can be completely different (LAGGGGGYYYY BUGGGYYYY) from another, which will only confuse you further. why? many combinations of apps/sync/launcher/kernel/hardware. most importantly, we all use the phone differently...
and in the time that it takes for people to post here and argue over which is AWESOME ROCK SOLID STABLE, NO BUGS, SOOO FAST and DEFINITELY THE BEST ROM EVER!!!!!11 you could have formed your own opinion by reading a snapshot of the threads, even install a couple and try them out, which is definitely the 'best' way of discovery.
which hopefully gives some further insight as to why best rom threads are pretty pointless...
there is no best ROM, only the best ROM for your needs (or your friend's needs in this case)
good luck, i hope you find will the best one, i'm still looking
Thanks. Soon I'll flash one off them and tell you which....

yeah cause I had tons of overheating, and resets with the other roms, especially when on 3G, or GPS... which was annoying... as for this one, I'm absolutely satisfied with
no overheating
good CPU clock
nice apps
lots of room on internal storage
those are perfect values for me, though someone else may have a different opinion
as for the minor buggs
it auto dials +1 in dialer (that's the one I've seen so far)
but You just get a new dialer from the market and problem solved
Sandvolds ICS 0.6.
IMO this is best for me.

I'm using Oxygen, one years.
For me it's Sandvold's ICS for Desire.
It has great support and works like a charm for the most part.
It has one or two major and some minor issues but that is to be expected it is still a beta mind you.
Overall its the best rom for my tastes. Its still under development and updates are released as much as twice a week. The development team and specifically Sandvold is always on the case solving issues and helping where he can.
OTA Update available now with Android 4.0.4 & Sense 4.1, next Jelly Bean & Sense 4+ ?
Check this out!
http://www.kitguru.net/mobile/blair...-x-update-coming-soon-android-4-0-4-included/
Software Build is going to be 2.17.401.2 (UK)
Install latest Android Revolution (7.0.0) and you can try it already.
Lovin what i'm seeing there! Oh boy am i lovin it!
Has that firmware been cooked @ McDonalds? Cause i'm lovin' it!
Sorry! Last sentence just had to be!
the article links back to here bro, into the mega information thread
A test version of the firmware has been leaked to a ROM developer, XDA user Football, and they have baked up a ROM based on the firmware. The new update will be 2.05.401.2, a noticeable update (in terms of numbers at worst) over the current 1.29.401.11. The Android version will also be updated to Android 4.0.4, which will by default include some stability improvements. Updated kernels, radios and software drivers are also bundled in.
Early adopters of the aforementioned ROM have been impressed. Users are reporting a better web browsing experience, tweaked auto brightness settings, a smoother user interface and faster unlock speeds. Gaming performance appears to have been improved, along with battery life whilst gaming. It is not clear yet if overall battery life has been improved.

I'm guessing you have the rom on your phone? I don't really want to root my phone due to warranty issues. Would be great if you show us your screen on time whenever you're done for the day and give us a bit of an insight on battery improvements. I've heard about general performance improvements in that rom in all departments but the battery time information is lacking a slight bit IMO.

But 4.0.4 base is a step in the right direction!
Been holding off on the custom ROMs until there is an official one in the wild.
Some people are suggesting the version number will be different, but who knows. Looking forward to what the new base brings...
