I’m using Sygic Aura.
Have a few question. I guess they are pretty general:
Can I change voices in some way?
When I try and navigate to a contact, I have to update its position in the program. Is there a way to get it to understand the contact address right away?
When I’m using Sygic Aura and is logged in to their live service I see pictures of certain locations (they appear as icon sized pictures). Can I preview the in a larger format in some way?
Anyone here have a clue?
I'm having problems with mine. The software installs correctly, but cannot get a GPS fix, which keeps flicking on and off so that the map display constantly jumps between active coloured map and greyed out maps when the GPS signal disconnects. I'm using LeeDroid ROM. I have used the same trial on my Desire HD with no problems (also LeeDroid ROM).
Anyone have any ideas what might be the problem? No point buying the software if I can't get it to work...

That's interesting - it suggests the software is a bit flaky. I left it running whilst I went for a drive, and it did the same for about 40 minutes, and never got a full fix. Worked perfectly on the Desire though. Very strange. I won't be buying the full version at the moment that's for sure!
i got aura fully working on my DHD with fast gps fix
i have read some tips and tricks
install aura apk
reboot
download map
start aura and setup to your needs and likes
reboot
before using it to navigate, let it atleast fix once (stationary) completly
than you should have a fix almost directly(i have, even in my appartment)

Thanks I'll give it a try
BTW in my original post I should have said the trial works on my Desire, and not on the DHD. However, I have tried the above suggestion, and got the whole thing working. It's interesting that you can download the entire world in maps if you want, for a 7 day trial period. need to drive fast then!
I'm not happy with Sygic Aura at all.
First I really liked it and bought it but there are now 'bugs' introduced which renders this door to door gps software as useless.
Since ver2.1x you do not get arrival time (owww small bug according to the support team)
Last couple of weeks I noticed that in some big streets there is no way to insert a house number, euhm excuse me on a road that is about 10km long in the middle of Brussels, not so funny if you have professional contacts and you have to drive in that jungle staring at house numbers.
I just tried another couple of my other addresses and no house number, just unbelievable.
Tried my colleagues Navigon and tried iGO on my WinMo pda and house numbers everywhere, so software bug.
The support says that they are working on it and that it would just take weeks to solve the 'small bugs'.
At this moment I am so angry that I am going to claim my money back via paypal.
I can't even get it to run.
It was all ok for a while and then I flashed a new rom and it started force closing on me after I reinstalled it.
Can't really be bothered with it since the routing was gimp anyway.
I think Sygic have some work to do...
Latest version of Aura is still way to buggy for everyday use.
It has, in my opinion, the best looking UI of most (maybe all) SatNav apps for Android, but it has some serious flaws when it come to giving directions.
I have previously written a post on my views here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=874988
Dazultra and I have also done a SatNav comparison:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=902264
Please have a look
I tried Aura on my DHD for some time. Did every tric I could find to get a stable GPS based position, but my location keeps jumping around or is lagging behind for sometimes 30 second.
Driving in the city this is unacceptable. I'm missing turns because Aura thinks I'm still 50-100 meters back.
I installed GPS Status and used it to force a cold boot for my GPS. Put it outside on my gardentable for 1 hour (10 min would have been more than sufficient, but I forgot all about it )
No improvement with jumpy and lagging position in Aura.
So now I removed Aura again and thats too bad. Sygic Aura is at this moment the nicest looking and most complete (incl. rather cheap traffic info) nav. system.
On the other hand, I would realy like IGOmyWay or IGO PRIMO on my DHD with full resolution. I threw out my WM (Touch HD) phone some weeks ago on which I had PRIMO including working TMC. That was fantastic, and fully configurable (sys.txt).
Let's see what the next months brings us.....
Sygic Aura on Desire HD
Hi everyone
I've just started using Aura on my Desire HD - impressed with the UI etc, but have a couple of niggles which people may be able to help with...
I've got the paid version 2.1, build R-20021, running on stock Desire HD, android 2.2
Changing voice - I've browsed the files using Astro and I have a female voice (amongst others)... how do i change the settings to use this voice file?
On my version, I can only turn on/off voice navigation, though i can change the different alert/warning sounds.
Re: speed camera/speed limit database... does anyone know how often this is updated? I'm based in UK and a local mainroad is indicating the incorrect speed limit (it changed from 60 -> 50 about 4years ago)...
Thanks in advance
Does someone recongnize the lagging behaviour of Aura as I describes 2 posts ago?

Me too. I drive with constant speed and the cursor freezes or de-accelerate then accelerates... then de-accelerate again... etc.. With navigon and Igo everything is fine! I have DHD with leddroid but It was the same with stock 1.72
I have exactly the same GPS-lagging problem with this program. Really odd though, as you would expect that the program gets the GPS info from android, just like any other navigation program (i.e. google maps).

I know there's some mention of GPS lock problems etc... around the various threads, but I wanted to create one to pull together people's experience of the various Sat Nav programs that are available and how they run on the TP2.
I've got TT7 installed (used to run it on my TyTNII), and it all works fine, gets a lock quickly, but the lag is REALLY bad on it. It's constantly a good 20-30 metres behind where I am (used to be may 5 metres tops on the TyTNII).
What have people found with other programs such as CPL etc... Is the problem with TT7, or is it with the TP2?
iGo 8
Hi there,
I had iGo 8 working perfectly on the Kaiser/TYTN II but I cant even get it to start in the TP2, does anyone have any ideas?
I can load the software on but when I launch it just goes back to the home page :-(
hello,
for my tp2 the igo8 works absolutely great
iG0 8
May I ask how you installed it?, did you just go to the 2577 folder and click Autorun?, or did you install from a disk?
Hi MegaHz,
Would you be able to tell me how you installed it please?, I need iGo 8 for work and it would be really useful to have it on this phone, it's awesome!
Thank you
I have run CPL6 (I don't have later versions). It runs in perfect WVGA with no issues at all ... inc GPS reception.
Paul.
Co Pilot 7
They're selling Co Pilot 7 with the Touch Pro 2 on Handtec.co.uk so that must be compatible, if I cant get iGo 8 to work I may have the purchase this instead :-(
Does anyone have any comparison of the two?, which do you guys prefer?
Ive got TTN7 Installed on mine and it works perfectly, no lag at all.
A very cool new feature is if you have a BT car kit you can set all system sounds etc to come through the car kit so TomTom now comes through my speakers in the car.
Excellent.
Hmmnnnn, not good then, I wonder if my TP2 gps chipset is knackered?
Whats it like in Google Maps if you zoom right in? Is it somewhere near where you actually are?
Mine is almost perfect, shockingly good.
I'll check later when I can get out of the office
my google maps is way out it thinks im actually in the village.
i think that maybe my issue is not accuracy, but refresh rate? when stationary, it picks out my location well (although tom tom can still jump about a bit then) but google maps gets me for sure. when moving, they both often lose themselves for a bit before coming back to the right location.
do i need to set up the baud rate manually or something to get data back to the apps quicker? tom tom was much faster in my tytnII.
I'm thinking of buying a TP2 but the GPS lag problem from the first TP is a real concern. Can any Igo8 users on the TP2 confirm whether there is any discernible lag at normal driving speeds? Also, how long does it take to get a fix in open outdoor conditions?
I've been using an Eten Glofish M700 for the last couple of years and it has an exceptional Sirf III GPS receiver (fixes within a minute, and no lag at all). I want a new phone but don't want to take a backward step with GPS performance.
I am running TT 7.915 and While it manages to keep my location fine, it doesn't update it for about 2-3 seconds, which can mean I get lost on big roundabouts!
I had this on my TyTNII....
If you just get lag, that could be a couple of things - what class is your sd card (I upgraded to a class 6 card and it ran a lot better), and do you have loads of POIs (disabling POIs also increases the refresh rate a lot).
From reading around, it seems that TT7 just isn't particulalry compatible with the TP2 (the problem being, TT 7 was only officially released for one or two specific PPC devices so I've no doubt if you tell them it won't run on the TP2, they'll say that it was never meant to!).
I'm thinking of trying CoPilot Live, but I'm concerned that I may have a GPS issue wince even with Google Maps, it does occasionaly completely lose itself for a few seconds before coming back to my actual location, so I wonder if there's an issue on the phone.
I used to use TTN6. but now cant decide weather to upgrade or go to co pilot. Cant seem to find a comparison of the two

I use iGO 8.3.2 on TP2. It is a lot better (2 day testing) than TP, which was almost unusable without tweaking. Very small GPS lag (a little lag I think is normal), cold start under 1min. More than happy. Problem solved.
Hi,
i read a lot of posts about getting TomTom 7 to work and how it is not working on the TP2. HTC offers a 15 day trial of Copilot which supposedly works on the TP2. You can check it out at http://www.htc.com/uk/SupportViewNews.aspx?dl_id=595&news_id=185. I think it could be a nice and working alternative for a full blown navigation system on the TP2. Still better than trying all kinds of dubious fixes and hacks to get TT7 to work. Maybe it's something for you
Jan
What ever - say good bye to TT because of the procedure which you have to do when you change the device
I installed Garmin Mobile XT the other night, works well.
I really like how you can search on a street name and not have to put in the city first like tomtom makes you (so many times i couldnt find where i wanted to goto cause tomtom had it in some weird city)
Anyway, works really well...
Just going to have a look at tweaking it for better response later, as it seemed to pause a second before updating at intersections.
After buying TomTom Navigator 7 retail (on SD card) and finding it wan't install at all on my TP2, tried and finally registered Copilot 7: very happy with it, works fine on TP2 with no GPS delay
I downloaded the trial, and will give it a shot at the weekend.
It`s very wird for me what u all saing. For me Tom Tom ver. 7.19 working with no problem at all. I just bought my tp2, even did`t do hard reset, i did`t do anything, and tom tom works strait after instal it.
We are talking about the retail version of TT7 preinstalled on 4 GB microSD card: it refuses to install on any device that isn't on the official list, like Diamond and Raphael (tried unsuccessfully on TP2 and Xperia X1).
I am using TT6 Navigator (same version that was on my P3300) due to the lack of maps for North America.
I needed to install WVGAFIX3 before I was able to view TT6 correctly though.
I found that Copliot works fine, but can be quite innacurate at times. If I'm driving on a road that's next to a motorway, it can sometimes jump me onto the motorway which I never found with TomTom. The lag is not _too_ bad, but it's still not great, just better tham TT7.
I've just installed a trial for Navigon, and I have to say, it's more polished than CoPilot, and smoother than TT7, although there is still some lag which is REALLY beginning to frustrate me
I found Copilot to be quite inaccurate as well in my recent tests. I am downloading Navigon now and giving it a shot.
Hmm navigon 7 is constantly freezing the device. Which version did you install?
Managed to get it to work with the files provided for the Xperia http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=443453. It looks pretty crappy as the graphics have not been adapted to WVGA, but In the end the navigation counts
Its a hellofalot faster than copilot anyways.
Too bad, there is not uninstall capability (copilot live downloaded from HTC support) when you done with the trial. So end up you have to delete the folder manually and not good cause it will stay at your registry.
Luckily I have a full backup before install this.
I use to be a TomTom user and always had problems finding the GPS unit if the GPS hadn’t been previously activated. I use to load either Goggle maps or Live Search, let the program active the GPS unit and then load TomTom, this worked 100% of the time.
I'm now a VERY happy Garmin XT user. No problem with finding the internal GPS unit, fast loading and very quick contact address search.
I did a two day test run with Copilot and Navigon and I found Navigon to be the much better solution. Copilots behaviour was erratic at best, it jumped between cities and even when it worked it was slow as hell and inaccurate. Navigon worked just fine and was fast and accurate as well so I'll stick to that one.
Ah and I had to manually kill Copilot as well as no uninstaller was there.
copilot 6 on touch pro 2
didnt want to start a new thread so i have resurrected this one. does anyone know if copilot 6 will work on the touch pro 2 (WM6.1). looked everywhere online but no answer. it seems i am the only broke dude trying to run such an old program on a shiny new device. (excuse is i,m waiting for copilot 8)
If copilot 6 did work it wouldn't look pretty - I ran my existing CP7 on the TP2 and the higher screen resolution distorted everything - personally having the wrong aspect ratio on things drives me up the wall so I found it pretty distracting.
Kudos to ALK support though, I emailed them asking about an upgrade of CP7 to CP7-HD (which does support the TP2) and they sorted it out for me without charge.
Thanks matey. Wont bother installing then. I didnt want to go through the stress of installing it and finding out it didnt work or look good. I actually bought copilot 7 HD but returned it cos it didnt say HD on the pack. I was also going to download it from ALK,s website but I thought, what the heck its almost 2 years old, Copilot 8 will be released soon so I,ll wait for that.
Cheers
CP7 loaded just fine on my TP2, and works (even in landscape mode), but it's method of telling you the routing is questionable (missed several turns and junctions, really disconcerting, the map's right, just the audio feedback seems stuffed to hell and back), and the less said about it's handling of things like POI and safety camera files from other sources is best left unsaid, or I'll go into foul language mode (seven %*£&%$ notifications after the other for each £%&$%* camera?!)...

You don't need a card adaptor per se, I installed it on a usb memory stick and copied it later to the sd card on my TP2.
Guys,
According to this site, the problem with the GPS is the software Google Maps
Read this:
http://samsungi9000galaxys.com/galaxy-s-gps-review-sygic-gps-signal-and-gps-lock-times/
So it seems that using other Navigation software gives very good GPS performance.....
But how come using the GPS TEST software also shows that the GPS is loosing sattelites lock and erratic performance? I mean if the cause of the problem is the Google Map, testing the GPS receiver using GPS TEST should show good signal lock and stable reception isnt it?

It's a software setting: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7281059
Other android devices have the same problem with a wrong setting.
Its not true, I tried google maps, co-pilot and NDrive and all gave really, really crappy gps performance. Upgrading to JG5 firmware has improved things a lot but its still pretty unusable for me.
You know I was just about to post that I think the issue is with google maps and not the phone. If I apply the ntp europe fix my gps locks very quickly and stays locked to within 16 feet in gps test when driving about.within google maps navigation the performance remains as shocking. Arrrggghhh!

I wish i could help testing the phone with different GPS/navigation software to validate the analysis, but I already sold my phone last week out of desperation due to the the GPS problem and lag problem and phone freeze problem and signal drop problem when you hold it a certain way....
but i love the design, size of the screen, the thinness of the phone and the super amoled display.....
Ouch...
Why did you not return your phone instead? I have never had my SGS freeze and I have never been able to drop a call by cupping the antenna, altough the signal strength does go down, wich it will on ALL phones with built in antennas since you are shilding the antenna... ( NOT SAME AS IPHONE4 design flaw where you shortcircuit 2 different antennas and that part seems particulary hard to grasp for some on this forum....)
But, to get on subject again, the GPS has been bad, that is for sure and I hope this is a step in the right direction.
Its clear that testing the gps is waaay too subjective and subject to too many factors. Applications have no effect on the gps performance.

Once again, another thread started because someone made one change, tested it and it worked, then posted how great it was. Trouble is since the GPS can work fine for days on end, and then not work for days on end, these supposed cures are pretty much all wrong.
The GPS doesnt work, and so far there hasnt been a public explaination as to why, just lots of guesswork, and no fix has been released (in any of the firmwares available today). It's coming, but its not here yet.

Seems some phones work some dont.On jf3 my gps was shocking but on jg5 it has always been spot on with google navigation and co pilot and ive tested it a lot in all weathers. It has never lost lock and is always bang on with position.I even tested google maps satalite view in the car parked next to a tree and it had me right next to the tree-within 10 feet accuracy.I dont change any settings just leave it on whatever settings jg5 uses.Im in england if that makes any difference
Found a fix on another forum and its been working pretty well for me.
Enter *#*#1472365#*#* in the dialer to enter GPS settings and change the following:
Application Settings:
Operation Mode - MS Based
Use SkyHook - ON
Accuracy - 30
SUPL/CP Settings :
Server - supl.google.com
Server Port - 7276
SUPL Secure Socket - OFF
I was having problems with 3G and WIFI with these settings at first, so I left Operation Mode on Standalone and Skyhook OFF. Works great now. Just tested it and got 9 satellite locks and 5 in use.
source: http://www.mobile01.com/topicdetail.php?f=568&t=1661500&r=2&last=21080924
I'm in Hong Kong btw running local JF7 firmware. Hope this helps.
I'm almost convinced that most of the problems people are having is down to google maps. I'm not saying that tweaking the settings as people have, inc me, doesn't improve maters, but I believe there is an underlying compatibility issue between google maps and the galaxy which is making the issue seem worse than it is.
If I leave gps test running while driving I get at worst a lock down to 32 feet, speed is accurate and never lose lock even when on roads totally covered with big wet trees. It looks spot on.
Google maps navigation can't even get me in an accurate position when stationary, start driving and its bloody awful jumps all over the place and sometimes doesn't even move for 30 seconds after I've pulled away from a junction.
I've updated my supl settings to use google (manually edited the conf file, I don't use the hidden menu screen because even if you change nothing it makes changes to the conf file on exit, delete the file and reboot to refresh it) and updated my ntp settings to use europe.
In the jg5 rom google maps is built in, so I can't reinstall it or seem to be able to clear the cache to see if that helps in anyway.
It wouldn't surprise me if any gps fixed rom released by samsung contains a tweaked version of google maps that works.

Too bad you can't download the full maps, though. You need to download your maps on a "per route" basis.
I am somewhat greatfull that I have t-mobile germany, so I get the Navigon App for "free". Here, I don't need a data volume to navigate.
It's available for the US and Canada.
Is it just a case of a locked API that no one is currently offering a GPS navigation app that has maps pre-loaded?
All these ones that are coming out that need a data connection are pretty useless since i only really use sat-nav out in the sticks where i don't get reception.
I'm not keen on having to pre-download a map each time i make a journey either.
I really miss IGo8 off my old Blackstone

I do not think it is API problem. They seem to keep storing the maps as you keep using new routes. I think they are using on-demand maps as a DRM method. It is difficult to pirate when the app keeps communicating (and authenticating) with Garmin servers.

Agreed on the Navigon software; the 3.0 version is outstanding. And looks far more "metro" in style than this $40 software.
I believe the reason we are not seeing any offline gps software (ie with offline maps and offline routing) is because these companies have algorithms and "engines" for planning routes, and they cannot (or don't want to) convert these DLLs to silverlight. MS doesn't allow you to use your own proprietary code and DLLs in the marketplace. So the only proper nav apps with offline routing and maps, such as Navigon, can only exist if they are manufacturer or carrier-supplied (in the same way that HTC can offer compass and flashlight apps).
Pity this is US/Canada only... really after a decent nav app (Turn-By-Turn's (GPSTuner) POI's dont work in Australia!)
It is a shame for those in other regions, but for those of us in North America, it is pretty sweet. My only gripes with the app are the fact that they didn't include a "run under lock screen" option (a must-have option for Focus users), and the voice seems, at times, to be over-compressed, and comes out just a tad fuzzy. By way of comparison the voice on the AT&T Navigator app is crystal clear. But that is about the only advantage it has over Garmin's new app.
Hello,
I think that navigon will be for Europe.
anyway, it is a very good GPS (navigon) I used this program in try v3.
it's great.
I like it. Looks promising. However I would not get it. I already have a gps for that reason.
I picked it up a couple of days and tried it out and was sorely unimpressed.
Issues:
1) It lost the satellite sync a number of times in urban, but not downtown Seattle.
2) It seems to have no sense of correcting the raw data. For example, if I'm travelling along a highway at speed, you'd think that I'd be going in the same heading as the road. It apparently just reads the raw compass data, resulting in the appearance of a perpetual power slide as I drive.
3) When it loses me and recalculates, it treats it like I'm starting a new trip (with the same phrase at the beginning) and may want me to start on a different, albeit nearby road.
4) Position inaccuracy kept it thinking I was moving when I wasn't. This happened a LOT, although clearly it new I wasn't moving much, and reset me.
5) It doesn't have street names like TomTom.
6) It doesn't let me pull from Contacts. Maybe when Mango is released?
The real summary here is that if I hadn't known where I was going, it would have taken me a fairly poor direction as it would lose me, think I was relatively far away, and start calling out instructions from that. I'd rather use Bing Maps (which I think the touching idea is terrible) or TomTom on my iPad. I got the Garmin because TomTom won't, for some reason, allow my traffic subscription to work on the iPad.
There are some things about the app I like:
1) Data entry for the address was nice. I preferred it over the TomTom.
2) Screen layout is nice.
3) Pictures of road changes are amazing!
I haven't experienced the first two issues you described at all, so I can neither confirm nor deny them .
Issue 3 is a minor annoyance (although I've never had it place me on the wrong street), but I hope it is addressed in an update soon.
Issue 4 I have seen a couple of times, but it did correct very quickly.
For issue 5, I have no idea what you mean. My copy always speaks the correct street name as I approach a turn. Maybe it varies by area, but I am in a much more rural area than Seattle, so I would expect that I would experience that problem before you would.
Issue 6 has nothing to do with the app, it is strictly an API issue. No GPS app on the marketplace today can pull from your contacts. But that will come with Mango.
I have not tried this app yet but i have tried and am currently using Navigon Select 3.0 form this thread and i must say that for the 1 day of testing it, it is working great. BTW, i am a bit biased when it comes to Navigon, i have been using it for a long time now on my old Iphone 3G.
Garmin broken?
I recently started having a problem with the Garmin Streetpilot. Every time i run it, it says "Acquiring Satellite" but never seems to acquire the satellite. I've let it go 15 minutes while driving, and no dice.
I remember getting a Samsung software to improve my GPS reception, and assumed it had somehow broken Garmin. Today I restored my phone back to NoDo, and then got the offical Mango upgrade, this time without getting the Samsung App. Installed Garmin, and wham, exact same problem. It just can't acquire the satellite. I went ahead and grabbed the Samsung app and tried it again, but still no dice.
Does anybody have the Garmin working on their successfully? I'm wondering if they put out an update i missed that broke the app.
I've never had that problem on my Focus, although the previous version wasn't very precise in following the road. However, I briefly tried the new Mango version yesterday (which presumably includes compass support), it had no trouble at all.
I'm starting to suspect the problem is that I didn't get a Samsung firmware update, so my compass isn't working. I'm wondering if the Garmin keeps trying to ping the compass and getting stuck because it can't access it?
That's possible, but I don't think the app would report that the satellite could not be acquired if the only problem was a missing compass.
I agree it doesn't make sense, but given what i've seen in software development, it wouldn't be too surprising.

I'm having exactly the same problem on Focus (Mango) using StreetPilot 7.5.
Hey there,
Heard that for example Navigon is not really working well on the GN.
Do you have any suggestions for offline Navigation that actually likes ICS / the GN?
Navfree

Is gmaps not available outside the us? Just curious because I always se EU owners running third party nav apps. Maybe its a data thing instead?

Google maps with navigation works fine in the UK at least... but having it all "on board" is, I guess, a bit more reliable if you're heading into areas you may not have a data connection. I know you can now pre-cache map areas, but does the navigation part cache the whole route? I doubt it, and if you happened to go off route where you had no connection, you're a bit stuffed!
That's why I also have Copilot 8 installed... which works BTW.
Copilot live however does not :-(

I thought Copilot Live didn't work either but... when I first installed it, it would load and go through some of the initial setup and then either give me a black screen or force close, so I reported it through the android market and left it installed nevertheless.
Today I tried to open it just to check again that it wasn't working and for some odd reason... it loaded up and asked me for my account password and downloaded my maps.. and it's still working.

I think it does cache a bit, as I've used it in areas where there's no connection.
It also has a low-res version of the maps that it flips to if it loses data for too long (no detail, just lines for roads IIRC). I think that's small so it covers a much larger area.
sygic does not work as well
Never mind, Copilot Live loads and you can select destination and it calculates the route but as soon as you say go it force closes...
Huh....so copilot and navfree works?
Hm at least 2 alternatives..
CoPilot Live Pro 8.2.0.368 seems to work ok.
The first time I installed it, it went through some setup stuff, but then kept minimising itself to the background. Trying to start it again didn't help.
I rebooted the phone and now it runs fine. I haven't tried navigating with it, but I've entered a destination and pressed "go". It correctly calculated a route, showed my current location, and was ready to go.
I'll try it on the road tomorrow.

Well. It was working. Now it just keeps dropping into the background again.
It doesn't "force close" it just waits in the notification bar saying "tap here to maximise Copilot". If you tap it maximises for a few seconds showing the splash screen then drops into the background again.
Anyone know any workarounds?
I discovered that if I am just patient and keep clicking "tap here to maximise Copilot" that eventually it will work on the third or forth attempt.
However, I have just tried turning on "force 2D acceleration" and so far Copilot has started up perfectly every time. It's also starts up much quicker. I don't know if that is just coincidence and it will go back to playing up.

I turned force acceleration off again, and Copilot is still starting up quickly first time every time. No idea what I have done but I hope it stays this way! I've tried rebooting a couple of times and it seems to be fine.
you can tell all Google Maps to cache all of the route. Works with GNavigation too.
Navigon is working now. just downloaded the map by Wlan. and the app started. did not had a chance to test it on the road.
Ndrive works just fine
Navigon installs - but when you get to the end of the 1.8GB Europe map download, it says download failed!
I logged it hoping to find a solution!
