On a more civil side, you must think that we here at XDA are idiots, the lot of us.

50 and you may have yourself a deal!

All of this was purchased offline and I can provide receipts to whoever buys this to ensure they are not receiving stolen goods. I simply purchased 3 evos for my family, had problems with Sprints service and decided to return all 3 phones, the accessories could not be returned without packaging so thats why Im trying to sell here and recover some of my loses. If there is some rule about posting for sale threads in here then Im sorry and mods please delete this. If not please be aware that you are buying like new accessories and some have not even been used yet.

Not a bad deal!
For 50 that is

What's my PDA2K worth (Any Offers)

Hello to all,
I think it's time to let go of my PDA2K but I don't know if it is really worth it to post it on ebay, or if anyone knows of a place that buys used PocketPC phones, or if anyone here is interested. I am going to list all the stuff I have with it and am hoping that someone could let me know what they think
PDA2K
has had a screen protector from the day I took it out of the box
currently has a Screan Guard XP
functionality: great condition
look: good condition has 2 or 3 small scratches and one small dent by the red button
1 Original holder (side case) I can't find this so this is not included unless it appears
2 Leather flip cases

2 Batteries (1 original, 1 additional)
1 Bluetooth Headset (Nokia)
Original Box with all original Cables
Just Added 04/29/06

What network was it on? Is the PDA2K T-Mob? And what Country?
And finally... how much are you looking for, or have you posted it on ebay
I did post it on ebay already but I would definetally pull it down for an xda member. Here is a link to it so you can check it out and give me an offer, check it out and let me know what you think
Just so you know I did get an offer for $200 but I think it was to low.....
I am currently using it on T-Mobile USA, but it is unlocked.

Give me 3 days...
Sounds good, I've got a couple of items up on ebay finishing in 3 days, if the funds come in I can transfer to your paypal account if that's cool... what's a rough ballpark figure you'd accept? They average about £140-£160 on ebay.co.uk... offer starts at $250
Blueangels are around 300-350 Euro at eBay in Germany. Same price like the Wizard
I'd like one please

Evo 4G OEM Standard Battery?

Sprint does not sell the standard size battery. I remember this with the Diamond also. A few years ago, Sprint stopped carrying standard size batteries for their devices to make room for inventory space, or something to that effect.
I am looking for a standard size HTC OEM battery for the Evo.
The P/N of the stock battery is 35H00123-22M
I have been looking around and saw the battery for sale.
I researched other sellers before purchase regarding description OEM, picture of battery, specs, etc.
I stay away from the $3 - $11 batteries etc. as you usually get what you pay for.
I received the battery but the P/N ends in 25M. The price was $29.99
In addition,
- the red wrapper looks to be too small and there is silver showing on the bar code side around the entire perimeter where the red wrapper edges do not meet.
- the water mark sticker is smaller and does not have a black plastic border around it as in the original, although it is embedded in black plastic.
- the type font appears slightly larger than the original
The above are the differences I have noted between this battery and the stock one I have. I have no other stock batteries to compare to. The Red wrapper appears to be exactly like the original. The differences concern me.
At first glance the batteries appear to be the same until you take a close look for comparison.
Do the differences I have notated also appear in other Stock OEM batteries, or are these difference indicative of a non OEM battery?
I have two stock batteries that came with different EVOs. One is the regular one with the wrapper that goes all the way around and the other is the one you described with the silver showing and part number ending in 25M. Depending on where you got it from, I would say it's legit.

Ok. Is the edge where the water sticker is the same as I described regarding the 25M cell?
I got it on eBay but the seller had a 100% rating with 1900 sales and 230 battery sales.
I messaged the guy regarding the issues, and am awaiting a response. I did mention that the cell appears to be a counterfeit, I may be wrong though.
I guess the 22M battery and the 25M batteries have some subtle differences.
The ad showed a pic and description of the 22M battery and I received a 25M which was why i was concerned.
The differences were subtle but enough to make me wonder, which is why I inquired here. It appears there are variances of the OEM cells as you have mentioned.
I have also seen around the web regarding the silver foils showing, etc.
I showed the battery to a Sprint Manager I know, and he thought it was fake, But he has not really seen any Evo 4G batteries anyway, and I showed him my stock battery for comparison, so I take his opinion with a grain of salt.
My water sticker is smaller, and there is no plastic around it, here is a small cutout in the red sticker where the water sticker pokes through.
Just as a warning, there are a TON of fake OEM batteries on ebay. They look just like the OEM ones but they are counterfeit.
I use these batteries. They aren't true 2000mah batteries but they do last me about a half a day longer than the stock batteries. Been using them for 5 months now and I can wholeheartedly recommend them. They are easily the highest quality cheap ebay battery.
Thanks for that. Sounds like my 25M.
I found this on xda regarding the 22M and 25M batteries, but it seems the pics have been removed from the link >>
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=821173
Here is the link to the battery I purchased. Pic & description is that of a 22m though, which is what threw me off.
From experience, appears to be a solid seller >>
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140441582056&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Edit:
I just took a voltage reading of the 'new' battery and it read 3.42V
I installed it into my Evo, and the red LED was blinking. It went steady after a couple of minutes, and it was at 6% charged. I removed it from my Evo as I didn't want to possibly damage it.
The Li-ion battery I received was in a state of Complete Discharge, and is no longer viable.
New Li-ions are usually received @ 80% of capacity or thereabouts.
230 sold, so maybe I received the bad apple. Hmmmmm.............
I notified the seller and am awaiting a response.
The seller made good on the battery and exchanged it for the 22M.
I also had another 22M on order from fommy.com, BUT they shipped a 25M battery. And this was after I confirmed on the phone before ordering the battery that it would be the 22M version as per the site's pic and description.
I am returning it for a refund, But I am paying the return shipping
They better not charge me a restocking fee, as they shipped the wrong/not as described battery in the first place.
this is the official htc shop
http://shopamerica.htc.com/accessories.htm?prId=37238
Thanks for the link.
Their prices are a little on the high side. There are dealers that sell HTC accessories at a discount. Just finding the right one with the right info is the tricky part.
They don't have the rear cover which I purchased from fommy.com
fommy got that one right at least.
the 22 and the 25 are both legit. the very first EVOs came with the 25 and then they switched to the 22s. I have many of both models. personally i think the 25s are better but im sure its just in my head. you over paid though, you can get them on amazon for about 15 last time i ordered.

I disagree. I bought two batteries that say Touch Pro 2 on them plus a wall charger on Ebay when I had a Hero. They cost me $9 and were shipped here from Hong Kong for free. They are still both working fine. You can now get three batteries plus a wall charger for $11 and free shipping. Hell, for that price I could replace them every year and be happy.
I have an HTC Diamond and I know those OEM batteries can be had for a few dollars.
I was referring to batteries for the Evo 4G at those low prices.

Extended battery backdoor at Sprint store. $54.99

Im not sure if its been posted but i was at the sprint store trying to get my wifes PRE fixed when i saw these backdoors... the black one seems to be made out of rubber and the white one, white polished plastic.. they look ok but at those prices... no sir.

You get both doors when you buy the 'extended battery'. That is not the price of the doors indivisually. You get the extended battery too!
they are made out of the same material as the stock covers.

I have one and the battery works well on stock, but obviously works best rooted and trickle charged. Takes 2.5 to charge. The white looks awful, like a car with mismatched doors. The gloss does not match. You get a year warranty. I have tried many trickle kernals. Currently Using rom myns warm2.2 rls5 ,netarchy-toastmod mod 4.3.1-cfs-havs-sbc kernal . No overclock, auto brightness constant 3g, handcenter texting, surfing, emailing I use for 7 hrs at work. About 80's % left. When I got it as a present dec 2010 newegg did not sell seidio accessories,And seidio was back ordered so bit the bullet. It worked out. Sadlys no custom case for this. Ihear seidio case will work, no kick standard though, no dice.

that price is the 2600mah extended battery plus those two backdoors that you saw, both are made of plastic but white has glossy finish while the black have a rubber like finish.
Overpriced x3
Those are the most overpriced item I have seen. I have a wholesaler account with a cell company and a black case and 2700 battery (not a knockoff from china by the way) costs a TON less. So shop around people and dont get ripped.
The black case has a nice soft feel, the white looks cool but is very shiny and plastic looking.
I picked up 2 of these earlier this week for 2 Evo's we have. And TBH Battery life tripled or quadrupled (Rooted) and the battery doors feel really nice. The black ones at least. The white doors make the phone look kinda ugly IMO but hey, not bad at all for $55.

I posted this on another thread, but I'll post it here too. Does anyone know if there is a case that works with the Sprint extended battery?

The seidio rugged extended has been said to work, I use the seidio rugged non extended with the sprint 2600mah battery but it requires some modification. It looks very clean you can't tell there is a extended battery in there or that the case has been modified.

Like others have said -- you have a wholesaler account yet you are complaining about RETAIL prices? Do you know how different markets and distribution channels work?
It's not a bad deal even retail wise - you are getting a good piece of hardware at a fair price from a nationwide retail chain that honors returns and exchances with little to no hassle.
Sure you could buy a "3500mAh extended" battery from some no-name place on ebay for 10 dollars. Problem is you have no idea on the quality, and returns are next to impossible.
I can beat even your wholesaler pricing on this exact item though. I got mine for free from the sprint store. Just by asking and being nice. Bought the battery and then had online customer care credit me back 60 dollars to my account. Great little battery, and I seem to recall that Li-Po batteriers are even more advanced then the common Li-Ion these days.
I got one from sprint for free and let me tell you I would of paid for the battery. This by far is better then any ebay battery I bought. No secret charging steps or anything those ebay ones tell you to do. Popped it in and went. I get three dayson a charge with being rooted. I do agree the white door just don't look right.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
$55 is not a bad deal, that's the same as the Seidio 3500 mAh but it's genuine OEM which guarantees performance. It looks quite a bit thinner too, where it doesn't turn my Evo into a Zack Morris phone.
Still pricey though. I wish I could use my $150 upgrade credit towards accessories...

FYI: Monoprice is gearing up for GS3 Accesories

I was talking to a rep on monoprice (which I'm sure many of you know carry some nice cell accesories for extremely good prices) inquiring about htc one x accesories and he told me they were gearing up for a bunch of new GS3 stuff. Just a little FYI for you guys looking for cases, docks and screen protecters and such in the near future.

I love Monoprice... but they havent actually ever carried lots of cell phone accessories, so I am lost as to why you think their stock will be extensive. All I have ever seen are cheap chargers and screen protectors, not anything more than that.
I didn't mean to have it read that they were getting a huge selection. But a big group of droidx users (when it first came out) hit them with a bunch of requests for cases and stuff and they came back with about 10 different cases, a few screen protecters and two docks. I have them right here.
I'm not saying they're super high end, just if anyones looking for a cheap case or screen protecter and doesn't want to spend $15 on it then you'll be in luck

Counterfeit OEM batteries

I recently bought what I thought was an OEM battery from eBay for my Epic 4G touch.
It's a really convincing fake (or at least I think it's fake). The giveaway on this one is the QR code/data matrix next to the serial number.
On the three OEM batteries I have, the decoded barcode starts with GH43, and contains the model number. On the fake one, the QR code is just the serial number.
Thoughts? Could this actually be a real battery, and Samsung changed the way they barcode their batteries? Or, should I try to get my money back on eBay?
Does the battery work? How much did you pay?

The battery works. I paid $10.29. It also weighs two grams less than my original battery, and the contacts don't line up properly (I can see a black line in the opening for one of the three battery contacts. The typography is almost perfect, but just looks different than the three OEM batteries I have lying around (one from Epic 4g Touch, two from Sprint Galaxy Nexus).
I think I'm going to return the battery and hope that the seller will reimburse my shipping cost.
I got two batteries from Amazon, an Anker and a oem Samsung, paid similar price and both turned out to be good purchases. Have two epics 14 months old and needed to replace batteries in Dec. So far so good.

I'm afraid to use a counterfeit battery given that Li-Ion batteries have a small chance of exploding. I also could get a non-OEM one for two or three dollars off of eBay (they're probably crap), so why would I pay extra a "Samsung" branded fake one when it's probably the same?
You don't know what your getting until you open your package after ups delivers it.
I ordered aftermarket and original so I could compare then. The Samsung battery was identical to my original except it had a different serial number.
All good!

I got one of those a few months ago but I ordered it knowing it was a fake since it was $3 and not advertised as OEM but had the OEM label. It was an obvious fake on arrival but it worked fine. After a few weeks it definitely got worse life than stock turned so I peeled back the sticker and it was a 1500mah.
Here it is, the crappy label is already wearing off. And here is the info under the crappy label too. I made a thread with better pics a few months ago too. I recently got some EzoPower brand batteries off Amazon and so far so good.

Mine looks just like that, but with the sticker applied well. I'm definitely returning it now especially since it was $10. Thanks for the link to your pictures.
Sure thing. If its a good ebay seller I wouldn't be surprised if they just credit you.
I would trust amazon over ebay personally. I don't know if that is justified or not but have heard too many ebay scam and counterfeit stories. I have never been disappointed from any amazon purchase but have on many ebay ones. Ebay is more like going to the swap shop or yard sale than doing business through a business.

Ummm Chinese battery $2 fake sticker $0.10 sell for $10, so $10 - $2.10 = $7.90 profit per battery. Yeah I'd say its profitable sell 100 batteries you just made $790 profit on a $210 investment. And most likely they arw paying well below $2 ea for bulk orders of batteries.

I got my money back, so I decided to take the sticker off. Lo and behold the battery is faker than I thought. It's thinner than a real battery, so they just glue a piece of black plastic to it to make it thicker.
