Do a google search on:
"windows mobile youtube cab"
There are lots of threads with postings of usefull apps/cabs. Do a little search around the forum .
lol thx for answer...but i did search on google..found for hd2 which didnt have the resolution i need.
as about threads..i believe is better to be a single thread with useful cabs than 10000000 threads
P.S. no offence but actually that wasnt the answer i was expecting...
P.S2. Do a google search on:
"windows mobile youtube cab" ...I know how to use google

I had an idea tonight while browsing for a CAB file. They're spread about in tons of threads. How nice would it be to start a thread dedicated for CAB files. A brief description of the app/CAB, and a screen shot of what it is. That way in the future when someone is looking for a certain one, they can look though the thread, or just see what's been posted "new", or try different things that maybe the new ROM they flashed may lack. Ideas?
GOOD IDEA.
Better Still why don't we just update the WIKI
Give it a single page for "Cab Files for the Hermes"
It would be an easy please to list them all and give a breif description on each of them and their purpose.
It might make it easier then searching through all the threads trying to find a single cab file.
If you click on the paper clip next to the thread title in each forum it will show you all attachments in the thread.
no...
people need to learn how to use the search function... it does wonders when you change the default from Threads to Posts...
While this is a great idea, I'd be concerned that bug reporting and compatability issues would be diluted. If a CAB has a problem on a particular ROM the problem is going to be reported here as well as on the page for the ROM.
If we can keep it clean and JUST have posts about CABs then I would be definitely in support of this, so I guess the best solution has already been suggested - make a CAB page on the WIKI.
Just my tuppence worth!
Wiki Wiki Wiki
Woudl obvisouly help having the cavs in one place. SOmetimes "duplicate" cabs are attached to threads, with different version having different results.
So.... I suggest they are entered in the Wiki.
I disagree for the same reason of walshieau

In all your free time start that WIKI page. The rest of us can use the search button until you get it finished, and update it everyday too.
Update Wiki.
As much as we ask users not to post before serching for relevant issues, it happens again - Somebody asks the damn question before reading first.
So, who has time to spare, update Wiki.
Cheers

Here is the Wiki Page.
BUT PLEASE STILL SEARCH AND UPDATE.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Hermes_Cabs
Should this be a Hermes thing exclusively? I believe it should be a CAB archive for anything that works on WM5 or WM6. There aren't many "cabs" that run soley on the Hermes.

Browsing the Web on MS Smartphone (WM Standard) devices & Review of Opera Mini 4 beta
Make sure you read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=316239 – you’ll find it VERY useful!
Also, make sure you follow my articles posted to the generic General forum forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=256 ). I discuss Smartphone compliance in EVERY of my articles, but only post a note to this forum on the most important ones to avoid excessive flooding.

SEVERAL MAJOR updated have been posted in the meantime. This article is a MUST for ANYONE wanting to know how to browse the Web on a MS Smartphone!!!
(Please note that, currently, because of the 10kchar post limit and the consequent slicing-up problems, it’s on my blog that the latest version can be found, not here in the XDA-Dev forum. Sorry for the inconvenience / external links. The URL is http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=2084&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 ).
The updates:
UPDATE (07/11/2007): Article heavily updated: added the two IEM Registry hack sections; added the jB5 section.
UPDATE (07/11/2007): Another heavy update: added the Flash hacking section.
UPDATE (07/13/2007): Yet another heavy update: added the Opera Mobile WM6 registry fix section.
UPDATE (07/14/2007): Changes to the NetFront section. Thanks to AximSite / HowardForums forum member player911 for his remarks!
Hi guys... hopeing someone can shed some light..
I`ve subscrubed to the HTC Desire forums... is there any way I can show new posts in these forums only ? as apposed to just the [new posts] button..
thanks
Sorry, I've not see a way to do this, yet.
Dave
hmmm
Well I don`t see the point of subscribing to forums then if that isn`t possible..
I was after the same kinda thing as androidforums.com. you can have favourite forums and just show the unread posts in those!!
contact the admins and mods personally i don't subscribe to threads i just browse through them and post stuff
It looks like androidforums.com is using a favourite forums plugin for vB, which XDA doesn't have.
I only subscribe to small forums for quick access from User CP and to tell me when something new is in there.
Dave
ok
thanks guys.. ( Dave )
Sorry for the stupid question, i'm sure the forums had RSS links for each individual section of the forum but I can't seem to find it any more.
Could someone point me in the right direction or have they been removed?
anyone?
For some reason we don't have an icon for it.
Here's the URL for this forums' RSS feed:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=263
Just replace the forumids=xxx with the forumId of the one you want to subscribe to.
Thanks
Dave
thanks, just what I was after
I've searched through the XDA archives but can't find any way to subscribe to an individual thread (not just forum ID) via RSS. Is this something that currently works?
Thanks.

Hi lio, thanks for that. I'm still trying to generate an RSS feed for within a thread though. So for instance I'm trying to get a feed for the following thread data:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=765
... and feedburner gives me the following two feeds:
Code:
xda-developers - Desire HD Android Development - RSS Feed: [url]http://forum.xda-developers.com/external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=765[/url]
xda-developers RSS Feed: [url]http://forum.xda-developers.com/external.php?type=RSS2[/url]
... both of which are not generating from within the thread, they're just listing the different forums themselves. If you see what I mean?
These links no longer work
Is there some other link that we can use?

I know this is an old thread, but I'd settle for an RSS of my "Subscribed Threads & Forums" page. That alone would be enough for me...

Seems no viable solution exists...
I too would like this. I see XDA has their own feed reader app for the forum. Maybe they disabled RSS feeds so that we'd be forced to use their app so they can make $$? Kind of gay, RSS feeds allow me to check multiple forums from one list on one app.
Closest thing I found searching the forums is this: https://feeds.feedburner.com/xda-developers/ and maybe it can be modified to show the forum that you want?
Well, as topic says Is there any good collection of XMODs? It seems there was one in the villainrom forum that isn't available anymore. Not searching for any mod in particular, but just maybe there would be something I (or anyone else) missed, as they are spread out everywhere.
xposed
