I'm an English Speaker from the UK. I would like to have my locale set for the phone to English (UK) but as I live in China, I really want to have the handwriting IME for the Desire.
It's included by default in the Asia RUU but that doesn't have UK English included.
Since I flashed the Asia RUU I'm having all sorts of problems with the Android market and I'm convinced its because of that.
I am looking for a kindly chef / experienced person to extract the CIME (handwriting) from the Asia RUU and give me an update.zip file so I can plug it into my WWE RUU flashed version.
why don't you try out LeeDroid??

Hi, have a Desire Z with Voda UK's 1.34.161.6 firmware on. What I want to do with it is debrand it as if it was bought from a retail shop, no want or need for custom ROMs on this one. Can I just install the 1.34 WWE RUU and update it or is there a newer WWE RUU that can be used? Thanks
