T9 keyboard punctuation order - Droid Incredible Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any way to change the order of the punctuation when using the t9 keyboard? It makes absolutely no sense to me that "at" comes up first when hitting the punctuation key. I'd much prefer if it were possible to change it so that the question mark comes up first, considering it is used far more often than "at".

Where can I get phonepad or T9 input program for Blue Angel?

Is there anywhere where I can download this? Is this a free utility?
Kinda difficult to use keyboard all the time (one handed).
Thanks.
first of all, most applications do support word completion (go to Settings, Input, Word Comp.)
start typing something in word and it'll give u a list of choices
But you're talking about dictionary words only. I'm talking about T9 input, just like doing sms on regular cellphones, but in this case, on the touch screen.

Touch Keyboard

I'm sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere (And yes I did look), but is there a way to set the touch keyboard to default to the "Touch Keyboard" where each character has its own button? On some screens it appears like that, but on others the "QU", "ER", etc share a key. It's really frustrating.
Thanks in advance!!!!!
try this cab

This is the cab to keep the 40 key "password" you will lose T9 and word prediction ..... do a registry backup.......this cab despite what ever it says WILL uninstall... the registry backup is just in case it can't be uninstalled. I pesonally have uninstalled and reinstalled many times without hard reset...Hope this helps

I didn't make it but codyppc did so give him kudos if you catch him out in cyberworld
This is for the touch keyboard on the touch
Timdawg
Another option
I like what timdawgdentist recommended because I did not know that there was the option available. However, I find the password keyboard a bit difficult to use myself, so I installed PCMKeyboard.

That PCMKeybord is really great. It's taking a while to get used to, but I certainly like it much more than any of the others that I've tried. Thanks!!!!!!!
I personally LOVE TouchPal keyboard, I was a fan with 1.0 and now with 2.0 it is that much better, Twice as better and easier to use. I use SIPChange to make that my default Keyboard. You should try it. You can type so freaking fast with it.

I have hard time text messaging with the native texting program that comes with the HTC Touch (Sprint/Vogue). I can't get the keyboard to disappear so that I can press the send bottom on the bottom of the page.
I like the SPB Fullscreen Keyboard with the black47 theme and PCM Keyboard with iPhone skins.
I tried TouchPal, Touch Keyboard and Keypad.
I prefer the touch keyboard from the least 3 i like.
but I mainly use the Fullscreen now but usually wind up switching around to the PCM. Sometimes predictive is good, sometimes I need to be precise

[Q] Physical Keyboard & Mispelled/Completing words

Is there "T9" for the pull out physical keyboard? I don't see it.. and I see the option for "Auto-Replace (Correct mistyped words)" but it doesn't seem to do it.
Am I missing something?
No, there is no T9 function for the physical keyboard. Also, I believe T9 was initially designed for texting with the traditional dial-phone set-up so that it's easier and faster than repeatedly pressing the same button more than once to get the third letter. And I think because it's the physical keyboard, you have access to each individual key so there's no reason to give you T9 or a crutch in spelling. That's my take.
The next thing close to that would be using Swype.
I should rephrase the original question:
Why doesn't they physical keyboard "Auto-Replace (Correct mistyped words)" when I misspell something? I see the option in settings -- however it does not correct anything.

Autocorrect tweak

Hey all, this isn't really gnex specific but I have a question about the stock jb keyboard: I'm really liking it and all, but having just come from iOS there's something that irks me a bit. Specifically while it does autocorrect on typing a space or punctuation, it doesn't do so when, for example, hitting send in the text message or email editor. This is annoying for me because I'd become used to that behaviour in iOS and now am sending off texts in which the last word is essentially gibberish...
Any way to change this in the stock keyboard? Alternatively, is there a different (and good) keyboard with this feature?
Cheers

Add a space at the end. It will not auto correct until it knows you are done with the word. What you are describing is predictive text and it does not "auto predict". It will predict and show words above the keyboard that you can choose, but that is all.

colon punctuation in keyboard

I was wondering if there was a way to get more punctuation marks on the Google keyboard for Android Wear 2.0. I'm not seeing the colon, but I do see the semicolon punctuation.
Does anyone know how to get the colon to come up on the keyboard?
There isn't a way that I'm aware of. It's a bit of a pain not being able to use it.
I guess one option would be to use the handwriting mode, but personally I don't like that as much.
